Fantastic experience: I moved to a central area of Brighton and this gym is in a great central location,is very clean wich is very important these days,the machines are nice and smooth to use. For my first month at the gym I decided to have a Personal trainer because of lack of experience and technique, and I chose Petru from the options of Personal Trainers, he showed me and teach me lots of good exercises along with a great technique. Glad that I joined this gym.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at this gym for few years now and I like it a lot , nice staff, very good quality equipment and always having great training there. I was using Personal Trainer service from Petru, he is one of the trainers from the gym , definitely recommend him.

Negative experience: I joined this gym based on a friend’s recommendation, and initially, I liked the friendly atmosphere, the staff, and the other members. However, during a recent workout, my friend and I were given a verbal complaint by a trainer in front of others, saying our workout sounds were bothering other members. It felt surprising, especially since it was a quiet Sunday evening, and other members were just as relaxed and friendly. This gym is affordable and basic, but perhaps better for those who prefer a quieter workout environment.

Negative experience: I have been going to this gym for more than a year and a half, and I have never received any complaints based on my behavior, I always respect all people, I unload the weights from the machines, and I never hit the weights during my workouts, today unfortunately I have received a complaint because of the sound emanating from my effort, this left me really surprised because I didn't think I was in a library or in a place where silence is necessary, unfortunately I train hard and I can't control it and in a year I haven't I have never received complaints from anyone, in fact I have a very good relationship with all the other customers, I am honestly disappointed by this situation and I am considering changing gyms

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using this gym for a few months and I would recommend it to anyone. It can get very busy at the usual times (like any gym) but there’s usually some equipment still available. It’s always spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly. If you’re looking from the outside, it looks small, but the basement area is much bigger that the ground level area.

Negative experience: I was a member of this gym since (before) it opened and recently left after the management demonstrated a lack of customer service and business acumen. I come from a fitness background after running a chain of central London gyms and yoga studios for many years. Over 10! Although the facilities at this gym are fine, there is more often than not, nowhere safe to stretch or warm-up due to classes being run in the only place to do this. If there is not a class, then there are regularly people kick boxing and boxing in this area and I’ve have had people trip over me, more than once, while stretching. It’s so unsafe! I have also had weights nearly dropped on me twice trying to cool down on the main gym floor as there was literally nowhere for me to go after a 10K run. So if you are bothered about warming up, cooling down, stretching. Good luck! I have mentioned this on several occasions but nothing has been done. The toilet upstairs is often out of action (leaving 1 loo for the whole gym) and there is regularly a queue for cardio equipment when busy, which is starting to need some TLC. My membership price has gone up, and up, and up. Equipment added, seems to be chosen on what the lads want, not what the gym actually needs and that attitude applies to almost everything they do at Energie Brighton. All round, there’s better in my opinion. Just to follow up on the deluded reply from Management. Your original email was insulting, based on zero evidence or facts, and was a one sided view from a friend of yours. As someone who has run high end gyms and yoga facilities for a decade and with 20+ years as a CX Manager. I have some knowledge on this front, it shows a complete lack of customer service, experience and operational understanding. There is NO safe place to stretch in this gym. This is not a gym for movement, this is a gym for a specific demographic and the management have favorites and friends. The new stretch area is often taken over by PT’s. Do You think anyone chooses to stretch under someone kick boxing? What a stupid remark. The upstairs toilet has been out of action for weeks and possibly months all tolled. Indeed, let’s agree to disagree. I should have followed my gut and gone elsewhere long ago.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my one- off visit to Énergie Fitness in Brighton. I was surprised to see there was a whole another floor with equipment downstairs. The machines are in great condition and are clean. Davide in particular was helpful and very friendly, gave a thorough induction and was super helpful. Strongly recommend visiting or signing up.

Fantastic experience: My friend recommended this gym because of its non gendered changing rooms cubicles and showers! I am trans and non-binary and this means a super plus for me! Davide was very welcoming and accomodating (he even asked for my preferred pronouns), so I joined the gym straight away! I'm already feeling the benefits of being part of the Energie Fitness community! Now I'm looking forward to test out the equipment and become a regular member!

Equipment Variety: Despite its compact appearance from the outside, Énergie Fitness surprises with two floors of well-maintained equipment. Whether you’re into cardio, strength training, or functional exercises, they’ve got you covered. Crowd Management: During peak hours, the gym can get busy, especially when classes are in session. However, the staff ensures that everyone has enough space to exercise comfortably. In summary, Énergie Fitness is a fantastic gym with a friendly community, clean facilities, and a variety of equipment. Give it a try—you won’t regret it! ️‍♀️

Positive experience: I recently visited Énergie Fitness Gym in Brighton and had a great experience overall. The gym is impressively large, spanning two floors, which provides plenty of space for a variety of workouts. The facilities are well-maintained and clean, although I did notice some dust on the top of the seated leg curl machine where you can place your phone or bottle. This was a minor issue and didn't detract from my workout. The day pass is reasonably priced at £12, which I used for two days. However, I wish the pass was valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase rather than just for the day you buy it. This small change would offer more flexibility. One aspect that would make this gym even better is the introduction of segregated timings for women. I noticed a few female trainers on staff, it would be fantastic if they could oversee these timings. This would create a more comfortable environment for women from certain cultural and religious communities. Lewis showed me around the gym, was very polite, and helpful, making me feel welcome and informed about the facilities. My only other suggestion would be to relocate the boxing area. Currently, it creates a narrow space that can make it difficult to navigate to the back of the gym. Adjusting this layout could enhance the overall flow and accessibility. In summary, Énergie Fitness Gym Brighton is a fantastic place to work out. With a few minor improvements- but mainly the segregated timings, it could be perfect. I highly recommend checking it out!

Fantastic experience: Great gym, loads of equipments, always super cleaned and organised. The team is friendly and they actually check the suggestions box :) I really like the boditrax scale available as well as it helps you to keep track of progress a bit more accurately. It took me a while to get used to the space after working out in bigger gyms, but to be honest, Energie compensates for everything! I don’t know how they actually manage to have so many equipment with the space they have. It’s also never too full, so I can always go about my training session without waiting long for equipment to become available.

Positive experience: I generally love my membership at this gym. However, you don’t get the £10 voucher the sign up promises and the Entry and Exit system are very annoying, clumsy and inconvenient. It is also frustrating that it closes so early.

Fantastic experience: Affordable, clean, smallish gym (still with a great range of equipment) in a very convenient location with very friendly and helpful staff. Can be busy on weekday evenings but I guess all gyms are. Nice and quiet in the morning though!

Fantastic experience: After living in Dubai for 10 years we moved to Hove and were in search of a good quality gym. After viewing other local gyms and not being impressed we came across Energie Fitness. It is clean, never to busy you have to wait for a bench, has a large range of modern equipment and Agha and his team are always very friendly. 5 stars!

Negative experience: Staff is unable to manage the gym. Leaves the laptop with all the emails and info unlocked when unattended. The weights room is carnage at any time of the day. People monopolise equipment for hours and refuse to share it. If reported the answer given is that the staff is unable to help. Expect to pay full price and be unable to use, racks and the smith machine.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a member of. Equipment is clean, and the yard is a great space for boxing and plyometrics. Staff were always helpful, and I enjoyed getting to know the owners, who are lovely people. I would highly recommend Energie Fitness Brighton to anyone who’s looking to join a new gym.

Fantastic experience: Energie Fitness Brighton is genuinely one of the best gyms around. The gym is incredibly well equipped - the variety of equipment and amount of machines means I’m never waiting for someone to finish. Also the gym is incredibly clean and modern, and is always kept to a high standard. The staff are the most friendliest, engaging and supportive - each one will take the time out to talk to you and check in on how you’re doing, and give tips if you’re using a new machine or looking for guidance. I’ve always been one of those people that has never truly stuck to a gym - having a membership but never going etc - but this place has completely changed that for me, even my Partner has joined and we work out regularly together in a safe and friendly environment. Energie Fitness Brighton really is just the best gym in Brighton and Hove!

Positive experience: Recently cancelled my membership for a number of reasons. Some of the male staff made me uncomfortable, especially the one's who find and follow you on social media. That's very inappropriate. Also the lack of multiple types of machines and the tight space makes the gym claustrophobic, and you're always feel like you're being watched. Wouldn't recommend to women who want to comfortably workout. Edit - I am using my maiden name, not my married name, which I do not wish to share online. It is a real issue, as your male staff members do follow women on social media, who are members of the gym. It's not appropriate at all. You are protecting these men if action is not taken.

Fantastic experience: This gym is almost too good to be true. Excellent equipment, enough free weights, not overcrowded (now, after 2 years this is unless you go around ~6:30), great team... All of it right in the centre of the city and not costing a fortune. What else would you want? Yes, the background music could be better at times but "you can always get what you want".

It’s new, modern, clean and friendly. If you drop the weight after a deadlift or a cable exercise, don’t come ;)

Fantastic experience: I had a week pass, and it was a good investment. The classes (Boxing, Core n More, HIIT) I attended was delivered by friendly and knowledgeable instructors. They made me feel welcome. There was at least one other participant who came to introduce themselves to me. Going forward, I will like to see more classes back to back. And space permitting have a spin studio. The next time I am in Brighton, I’ll be in this gym.

Fantastic experience: Even though I had to cancel my membership due to commuting reasons, I should admit that this gym was amazing. Very clean, not too packed and most importantly aircon is working really well. This will be the gym I will come back to in the future. Also the stuff was so friendly. They straight away went ahead with my request and cancelled my membership quickly without any fuss.

Fantastic experience: I have used quite a few gyms in Brighton and near areas; this is by far the one I prefer, location is great and equipment is all new like everything else in the gym. It always smells good, always spotlessly clean. Staff are very nice and welcoming, also good and quick communication via emails or texts, always very helpful. Also they have hair bands and sanitary towels in the ladies which is a really nice and thoughtful touch I have never found in any other gym. I definitely recommend this gym!

Very clean, not too busy, great equipment and friendly staff (especially Lucy) I’m someone who trains with weights and I have to say the selection of equipment is great, not many pieces that I could think are missing from what they have here. Dumbbells go up to 50kg and there are 2 of most sets of dumbbells which is great Don’t really want to tell too many people about this place I want to keep it all to myself haha!
