Fantastic experience: Genesis gym is great. The staff are really friendly, encouraging and pushy (in a really good way). The Spinning classes are excellent and I've just discovered Strength classes which are equally as tough but weirdly enjoyable. The atmosphere inside the gym is relaxed and covid safe, and for me, it is so convenient I wouldn't look to go anywhere else.

What a blast, Jesse is a fantastic personal trainer, with a positive attitude and loads of encouragement. He is able to push you and get the best out of you. Yet making it fun. Changing your program to stretch you and stop you from becoming bored. Fantastic

Fantastic experience: Genesis gym is great. Small enough the staff get to know you, big enough to have the key equipment, and never to wait long to use it. The personal training sessions have been perfectly tailored to my needs, and adapted well to how I feel on any given day. Totally recommended.

Fantastic experience: I used to think gyms were not for me and would be daunting places to get fit if you were not particularly sporty. I came across Genesis and tried their 'Couch potato breakout' course and haven't looked back. If you want ranks of gym machines and a smoothie bar it may not be right for you - the best thing about Genesis are the staff. It's well worth having a personal trainer session once a month. The team at Genesis are friendly and encouraging - whatever your age or level of fitness. And that means there is a real mix of people using the gym so you don't feel awkward about having a go. Genesis is not just a gym, it's a community.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Genesis for several years now and it is brilliant. It's a friendly gym and I always feel very well looked after with great support as well as flexibility. I go regularly and also have training with both Martin and Debbie. My 14 year old son also now trains at the gym once a week as part of the youth program. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Genesis is unique. It's not the usual faceless corporate place, but it's full of great staff who genuinely want to get you fitter and healthier. There's a friendly vibe and a wide range of users enjoying their workouts. It caters for all ranges of fitness level and body types. The staff focus on tailoring programmes to what each user wants. I perform at a high level of racket sports and use the gym primarily for strength training. I've recently started one on one pilates instruction with Debbie, to improve my core and enable stability at high intensity. She's been great and developed a specific programme tailored to my sports. Highly recommend Genesis.

Positive experience: Decent local gym that’s usually not too busy. There’s a reasonable selection of equipment (cross trainers, treadmills, weights, abs, chin & dip, cycles, rowers, balls, mats etc), but best of all are the staff, who are all very helpful and knowledgeable.
