Welcoming martial arts centre where you'll mix with all walks of life and everyone's an equal - no ego, just a shared desire to advance the skill of all. Found Temple Gym many years ago, and I'm not going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Temple Gym WC headed by Sifu Derek Vernon, For kung fu Sifus whom are in the Devon area that would desire to do seminars his venue is an honour to be able to host a seminar at, and for WC lol a MUST visit regardless of location but especially if your in the Devon zone, From the rustic woodwork and doors to the colour schemes and natural wood work and high vaulted ceilings to the quaint alluring reception area that beckons, it is a hidden tardis of treasure vibrancy and exudes that olde world feel of traditional kung fu and determination, beautuful waxed floors with the I ching and ying yang to centre from , From the outside back alley to the interior design you would think your in Hong Kong , you would expect to see students marching up and down the alley stair with Pails of water in tow, the beauty of it is it's non contrived natural flowing earthy meaningful , For Chunners a real hidden gem .

As a Wing Chun practioners of 40 years my self Temple Gym has quality equipment in abundance and Sifu Vernon has also many years training in Wing chun and I found him very open and knowledgeable with a fully comprehensive training system.
