Fantastic experience: My first ever spin class and really enjoyed it! 10/10!

Negative experience: Used to be a member here a few years ago when it was a dedicated body building/hard training gym! Now looks more like a disco! Wanted to enquire about day passes as I'm moving out of the area in October - waited for five minutes at reception and not a sole came to serve me! Clearly staffing is an issue there nowadays! Glad I'm out of Margate soon - I might just find a good gaff where I'm heading off to! Update - now closed. Undergoing a three month refurb!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been in Margate for holiday and got an amazing friendly service provided by the one and only Adam at Urban Fitness! The gym has an nice environment and has a good vibe. We would absolutely come back here in the future if we’d ever return to England. Would definitely recommend this gym!

Mixed group of clientele all made very welcome by the professional team who go over and above to make this gym a good experience for all ages, shapes and sizes. Clean changing facilities and plentiful amount of equipment with designated room/areas air conditioned for group coaching and classes. Coffee, shakes and snacks too. Great gym for beginners or returners with competitively priced offers for 6 and 12 week guided programs, and a very personal service. Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: Fabulous gym with a great range of machines and equipment. Has a little area with punch bags which I love. Lighting also really helps you get in the zone. Amazingly cheap too. Delighted it has opened locally!

Fantastic experience: I joined the Group PT sessions in November and Urban Gym & team have been amazing! Not only do I feel fitter & more toned but they’ve explained a lot to me about exercise & nutrition, and most importantly what works for me! I highly recommend the gym for the classes, knowledge & vast selection of equipment in the gym. Mark& his team are brilliant

Fantastic experience: Group PT programme is amazing, I joined in Sept 22 when it first started. Mark gives 24/7 advice and support and his PT sessions are intense, motivational but fun. Which gives the best results. I have lost weight, body fat, inches and feel amazing. Joining was the best decision ❤️

Fantastic experience: As soon as you enter the building you feel welcome the program is amazing helped me so much with my mental health the group sessions are small and comfortable as well

Fantastic experience: OUTSTANDING GYM...I searched online for the best gym in Margate whilst working here short term and hit the Jackpot when I chose this place...Awesome staff, fully inclusive for everyone in a happy, friendly, safe environment...low prices...the retro lighting with neon and the upbeat music is a real motivator... I've upped my 1 hour a day workout to 2 hours, cos this place takes me to my happy zone...both mentally and physically....I would recommend you try this magic...

Fantastic experience: Only started going. As slim looking I may be. It’s not as intimidating as I first thought. No one stares as if what am I doing there such. Great environment with a very positive energy. Safe to say I’ll be going regularly.

Fantastic experience: I use Urban for classes but I will be moving my gym membership to here when my current one expires…. Tardis comes to mind, it’s a lot bigger than I imagined, the kit is brilliant, it’s got everything you need (& more to try), it’s clean, tidy, and has a really friendly atmosphere.

Positive experience: Gym is good i love that but management is not helpful i m not happy with that and manager who dose not listen anyone they gonna lose too many members coz of manager because of timing no one happy with that

Positive experience: Just off northdown road so perfect locaction, cheap, clean and has most things you need for weights, gym and classes.

Fantastic experience: I've only been at this gym a few weeks but its so different to other gyms in a good way. The staff are so friendly, everyone that trains there are always willing to give a helping hand, advise and pointers when needed.

Fantastic experience: Had an issue with cancelling my membership. I moved out of the area and wanted to cancel. Phoned many times and sent emails, no replies so I could not cancel. Obviously not happy so left a bad review and requested for the owner to contact me. The owner who is a really nice chap saw my review and phoned me right away. He cancelled my membership and removed any outstanding balance on my account for the inconvenience which was very nice of him. Very upright and honest person so his gym will do well and I wish him all the best. The gym is very nice and has a good vibe. Staff, members, Everyone i have met there are very nice and chilled. I really enjoyed this gym.

Negative experience: Rude management, high prices and bad lighting, used to be a proper bodybuilding gym with all the machines etc which have been taken away now is basic and people are leaving wouldn’t recommend

Positive experience: Great gym nice and friendly staff, very clean as well , lovely chill out area and good music, very small gripe could do with another running machine More running machines added now and another good cardio wall focus punch pads,absolutely brilliant gym

Fantastic experience: A real old school bodybuilding gym. Got every weights/machines you can imagine. Very heavily bodybuilding weighted but has small cardio aree,. Including punching bags. Staff very friedly and helpful, Tebid is wealth of knowledge having competed before. Adam and Natalie also lovely and i could chat to them for hours. At. Only £20.50 a month what more could you ask for? Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I have known the owner of this gym for many years as I trained at same places as he did . I am very happy he found his own gym business as he loves the fitness and bodybuilding industry . Time , energy and money into better equipment ( new chrome dumbbells sets are fantastic ) -and a hugely improved layout of more machines- has made it exciting to go to. I love the American famous gyms like Golds in New York and Venice Beach and he has recreated that atmosphere again. It’s an old style friendly gym but with best equipment.

Negative experience: DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!! OWNER AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED MY CONTRACT AFTER 12 MONTHS SO OBVIOUSLY HAS SAVED MINE AND EVERYONE ELSE BANK DETAILS I ALSO HAD POSSESSIONS STOLEN AND WAS TREATED POORLY BY MEMBERS OF STAFF i have since found onother far cleaner gym
