Fantastic experience: Best gym around, great if you are getting into lifting and weight training. Loads of free weights, machines for all muscle groups, and cardio areas. Jon is super friendly and is happy to offer advice and demonstrate the equipment.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in East Sussex, amazing team. Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent free weights and machines. The owners John and Natalie and staff are always on hand to give advice, show how new machines work. Natalie makes the best flapjacks which is a nice pre workout or post workout treat.

Fantastic experience: Starting at a gym can be super intimidating, something a lot of us fall victim to and consequently never end up taking the first step in there. Physiques on first glance seems like the epitome of that intimidation, but after going in with a friend the crew at Physiques only made me feel welcome and encouraged. There's a big family feel to the place which I love, but it's not the place to go just to brag that you were at the gym on social media - you've got to put the work in. It's not a gym for vanity selfies in front of mirrors, everything is designed and caters for good hard work. There's a wide range of machines to work with but just as importantly there's good knowledge & help if you want it. It's rough around the edges but if you want a gym with character then this is the one.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area. Jon Bowlers, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful. It is an old school bodybuilding gym but don't be intimidated as everyone is made welcome. It has an extensive range of equipment spread across several rooms, split broadly into body part. If you are into your training, this is the place to visit.
