Fantastic experience: Great buzz Nice music Friendly staff Plenty of weights/machines

Fantastic experience: I went into elyte fitness thinking that it was primarily a CrossFit gym as the pictures on their site made it look that way. But they have some amazing equipment for every body part, loads of free weights, plates, bars and equilment you don't see at most gyms. The gym is just busy enough that you can work out without constantly asking people when they are done and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Their opening times between the CrossFit and elyte fitness Google maps posting don't seem to line up though which is annoying as I went one day when it was closed because of the times posted on Google maps

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area! Recently updated with premium Life Fitness & Hammer Strength equipment. As a first time gym goer, I've been incredibly anxious to workout anywhere. There is no need to worry here as all the coaches, and clients are amazing! The dedicated CrossFit box is a great space, and the classes are brilliant. Bootcamp at Basecamp115, Hyrox is also a must try! Highly recommended gym!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym since moving house in February 2023 and it’s been fantastic! I haven’t joined any CrossFit or bootcamp classes but the gym facilities are great and the staff and other gym goers are all very friendly and helpful. Never a problem getting a spot on a heavy lift!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area, plenty of equipment and space for bodybuilding, powerlifting and general fitness. Also features a dedicated cross-fit area. The equipment was recently updated (2023) and expanded with a number of new machines, extreme value for the money, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with a brilliant atmosphere, everything is well maintained and cleaned and every day I am treated by friendly staff like Meghan & Sam who make me feel welcome! Although I haven't done them myself the boot camps on offer do look great if that is your thing!

Fantastic experience: What can I say other than this place is great with an amazing owner/personal trainer in Dawn. I totally agree with other comments about joining g a family - none of the impersonal features of a large chain and staff that greet you by name when you walk in. Once you try this place I don’t think you’ll want to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Superb facitilites with early opening times and fantastic equipment - also includes a fit 3D machine to accurately monitor your progress which is amazing! The Stagf make you feel as ease and welcome from your first visit.

Fantastic experience: From my first contact when I sent a very long email, Dawn and the team have been nothing but understanding and caring. When you go to Elyte it is very much like joining a family. I started with personal training sessions at a very empty gym as I was so anxious and within a couple of weeks built up to going to open gym sessions. I never felt alone or out of my depth because friendly faces would always say hi, and check in. Even with covid restrictions and keeping distance it was comfortable and clean. Now almost two years on, a few additional lock downs, it's now part of a regular routine and an environment I love being in. I have built my confidence in using the free weights and squat areas and love getting a New P.B. When I have personal training or am just training on my own there is a lot of laughs and smiles and hard work. Next step for me will be the classes.. which are very popular and well attended.

Fantastic experience: I've only personally used Elyte Fitness for the gym side of things but I have heard amazing things about the classes and everyone raves about the bootcamp. The gym is well equipped, with more than enough space and facilities to do all sorts of activities including but not limited to; Crossfit, Olympic Weightlifting and Bodybuilding. The staff are always friendly and willing to help where and when they can. I would personally like to shout out Sam and Max for being a friendly face every time I come into the gym and always giving me tips and movements to improve my workout.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for three years or something now and can honestly say in that time that every class has been different. The thing I like is that you never watch the clock like in normal gyms (where you're given a training plan then pretty much ignored and left to get on with it). Because it's group training it pushes you much harder than if you were doing it on your own, and you can have a few laughs along the way too.

Negative experience: I recommend finding another gym if you do individual workouts. Great gym and lovely staff, when they are open which is random at best. I have checked their website, google, and Facebook for their hours and they are all incorrect. I have mentioned this to staff several times and they dont seem to care. They are only guaranteed to be open during class times, if the class does not get cancelled.

Fantastic experience: Elyte offers a fantastic selection of super effective classes. All group training so really motivational.

Fantastic experience: I adore being a member of Elyte - every staff member gets to know you and are genuinely interested in helping you achieve your goals. And the other gym members are like an extended family! The facilities are fantastic - especially the spin studio - far and away my favourite fitness facility in Ely.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE Elyte!!! So many great classes with absolutely amazing instructors! As a fat 50 year old, I have never felt intimidated or inadequate and have always been made to feel welcome, important and encouraged. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Amazing. I only spent a week in ely as I was doing some work there. All the classes I went to were great. Instructors push you in the right way, never felt self-conscious about being not good enough (even when I was the only male in a class of 12). The groups of people you meet are all supportive, and aren't resistant to a good laugh in the middle of a hard workout. Loved it, and thanks to all the instructors.

Fantastic experience: This gym is never over packed. The staff members are all fitness professionals, they are always on hand to help you with what ever you need. They always go above and beyond to please there customers. I love this place.
