Fantastic experience: Good little gym, personal trainers are all really friendly. Especially Elliot who is very approachable, keen to help and has great knowledge.

Negative experience: Been at the gym since it opened, never normally a problem. Today a family member decided to sign up and come with me. His code would not work at all, we rang the door to the staff room 3 times… no answer, so I went in and tried to speak to the only member of staff in the building which I was told to ‘go away’ and shooed off. Honestly can’t believe it, this was on 25/07/2024 at 7pm

Positive experience: Not a bad gym, plenty of equipment, gets quite busy though, not the most top of the range cardio equipment but decent enough to get the job done. Could actually do with being a bit bigger

Fantastic experience: On entering the gym area, I was immediately struck by the modern design of equipments. I was impressed by the variety and quality of the equipment. There were ample benches, dumbbells, treadmills and other equipments, ensuring that I never had to wait long for my turn. It has a good and luxurious locker room with spacious shower room. In all the arena is serene.

Positive experience: Great gym, 24/7 open with 2 hours free parking.

Fantastic experience: The Gym Group Chester City Centre is fantastic! I've been a member for a while and it never disappoints. The equipment is modern and well-maintained, and the facility is always clean. The staff are friendly, professional, and ready to help with any questions. The variety of classes offered keeps workouts exciting, and the 24/7 access is incredibly convenient. It's a welcoming environment that caters to all fitness levels. Highly recommend The Gym Group for a top-notch fitness experience! Five stars!

Negative experience: Workers were rude I used the gym since opening and still workers were rude there was a problem with my code and the worker with brown hair was rude telling me to stay outside. She has a disgusting attitude and Shoud not be working with people none of them Shoud.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly gym, the staff are really helpful. You don’t feel intimidated and there is duplicate equipment so hardly ever any wait for equipment,

Positive experience: The gym is well equipped. Most of the equipments I use have instructional labels on them, to enable people use them efficiently. Also, I found an instructional channel on YouTube, with over 30 videos on the playlist, showing how each equipment in the facility is to be used. As someone who’s big on the cleanliness of restrooms, I’d give them a pass- the gents restroom is well taken care of. The gym group app shows the amount of people currently in the gym. So, if you’re someone who doesn’t love crowded places, the feature allows you check the amount of people currently in the gym. And it is 100% accurate because you are mandated to scan before entering the gym and you do same before going out.

Fantastic experience: Nicci's coaching has been incredible. My anxiety was at another level before I joined. Her motivation and support has helped me in more ways than she can possibly imagine. I cannot recommend her enough! Not only is she my personal trainer, but I also consider her a friend. She's so supportive and encourages me to carry on when I'm inches away from giving up. She's absolutely amazing!

Fantastic experience: Ethan always sorts me out, highly recommend this barbershop. Big fan of the subscription service as opposed to paying per haircut, great business model. Can book a time slot in advance online very easily. Much easier to plan your day when you know what time you'll be in and out, and no waiting when you get there.

Negative experience: This gym was ok when it started out but now there are too many poser idiots who hang around the weight rack areas, the sea of tripod selfie egotists is never not out in full force. Just turns the gym into a circus and detracts away from the real purpose of a gym…..to exercise

Fantastic experience: Been going to the Gym Group for a year now, and since October started training with Nicci's Coaching, before working with Nicci I only did cardio and was comfortable doing so, but since having Nicci as my PT my confidence has grown dramatically in and outside of the gym, definitely recommend the Gym Group and highly recommend Nicci if you're interested in a Personal Trainer, cannot thank her enough!

Fantastic experience: For a big 24 hour Gym Group Chester City centre is a surprisingly friendly and welcoming environment. The members leave their egos at the door and all the staff from Dave the GM down to the cleaning staff are great. All the PT's are really helpful, giving advice when needed. Particular thanks to Ryan AGM for answering my many questions, the help he's given me and for his patience.

Fantastic experience: Very good gym for exercises and affordable too. The most important thing for me is it's availability 24 hrs of the day. After working hrs you can still access the gym and it's 24 hrs monitoring systems ensures that every gym member is safe and there's a rapid response after hrs if needed. So Ladies and Gentlemen join because exercise is the only way to guarantee a healthy body and mind that will lead to longevity.

Fantastic experience: Access 24/7 and friendly staff, also free classes every day which is quite helpful. I got out of hours membership and has found it very helpful with less money spend. Also the locker room is safe, nothing got stolen so far and also safe to go at middle of night, there is always people there at all hours of day. Clean place and all instruments are in working order.
