Fantastic experience: BEST GYM IN THE AREA! I’ve trained at so many gyms over the years in the local area but I Always keep coming back to popeyes! It’s the only gym I feel motivated and comfortable in. atmosphere is amazing! Everything you need equipment wise and the staff are great! Always happy to help whether it’s with training advice, nutrition, supplements or offer a trusted spot! The owner goes above and beyond for his members and is such a lovely genuine guy! Can’t recommend popeyes enough!

Negative experience: Highly disrespectful owner. Careless for others. Thinking that he have a night club, not gym. Banging music from 5 AM till 11 PM. Don't bother about his neighbourhood. NOT recommend

So welcoming, as a girl I’ve always been scared to go to gyms and popeyes is definitely the one I’ve felt most comfortable in, if your confused about anything they will help you, such a good vibe no clicky groups, they have everything you need and no waiting around for machines, hands down just the best gym 110% recommend paying them a visit!

Fantastic experience: Once I had my little man I decided I needed to get back into the gym asap! Needed a change of scenery and the standard commercial gyms weren’t an option because the atmosphere is usually dead in there! So I joined Popeyes and it’s a top quality gym! No waiting round for a machine, everything is spaced out so you aren’t training on top of someone else or getting in anyones way! Staff are super friendly and I’m a beginner in training anything other than legs and shoulders so if I’ve needed help with a machine or an exercise then Ive always been able to ask for it where as previous gyms I haven’t felt like I could. This gym is definitely for anyone who is new to the gym, wants to begin in a gym and is definitely for women too!

Fantastic experience: If you're after a proper gym, for proper lifters and grafters and people who aspire to progress and do well in that kind of environment, Popeyes is the gym for you. I've been there for about 4 months now. Before that I was at one of these 'high-end' overpriced gym's with too many treadmills and dumbells that max out at 50kg. Honestly, not worth your time and effort. I spent more time picking plates and dumbells up after people who couldn't be arsed re-racking them themselves than I did training. Popeyes is completely different. It brings in a different type of clientele. Gym etiquette is through the roof and when you go there you'll see that for yourself. The lads on the desk are sound and everyone in there is always willing to lend a hand or a bit of advice if needed. I've learnt more about bodybuilding in my 4 months there than I did in years at any other gym and I think that's testament to the way it's run and the people who go there. 5 stars all day long There's also a good range of proteins, preworkout's, supplements and clothing etc on offer behind the desk as well. Loads of strongman equipment and machines you won't find in many other gyms. For 25 a month you're laughing

You don't feel intimated or feel that you've got to pay for advice like other gyms. I've only been this morning and already my passion for training has come back and can't wait to go again.

The equipment is great and clean. Plenty of room to do your workout even during busy times. In the years I've been training here I've met some great people and friends for life.
