Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu

Fantastic experience: My son found the Kung fu lessons fun and enjoyable, his confidence grew as the months went by. Sifu Bryan is an excellent Kung fu teacher has vast experience.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Sifu Bryan highly enough. The training is high quality and delivered in a fun and welcoming environment that inspires the young participants to push themselves. Sifu Bryan is an excellent communicator and brilliant with the kids, particularly those who are a bit hesitant initially. The fact that so many continue with Northern Praying Mantis into adulthood says a lot.

Fantastic experience: My 8yo loves Sifu Bryan's classes. He has been going for about 6 months and was initially shy but skipped into the 2nd lesson without a backward glance. He leaves happy, confident and energised and loves practising his new moves. Bryan is great with the kids, he is kind, passionate and motivates them to be their best. They learn new skills and improve their physical and mental health. Fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Great class that teaches the kids a wide range of skills. My 7 year old has developed in confidence and technique in the few months he has been attending and loves taking part in class. Sifu Bryan is very good with the kids, being patient and gentle whilst guiding them to push themselves and grow week on week, a joy to watch!

Fantastic experience: My son has been taking kung fu with Sifu Brian and it is the only class he finds really engaging. He isn't a sporty person but the dedication and style Sifu uses has inspired him to make extra effort even practising at home. Fantastic experience: Our two boys attend the kids sessions every Saturday and they look forward to it every time! Sifu Bryan delivers fun, energetic sessions while teaching the principles of ancient Kung Fu praying mantis style. There is a lot too learn and expectations are high. Our kids have really flourished with their training and it has certainly boosted their fitness, wellbeing and confidence!

Fantastic experience: I am having an amazing time learning Kung Fu at Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu with Sifu Bryan. He is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor who teaches authentic and effective martial arts. I am learning a lot of skills and techniques that improve my strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence. The classes are fun, challenging and rewarding. But more than that, they also help me discover the warrior within. I am learning how to face my fears, overcome my challenges and unleash my potential. This is not just a martial art, it's a way of life. Northern Praying Mantis is a unique tradition with techniques that work on the street, but it is also tied to spiritual practice. It is a very old and rare style that is hard to find anywhere else. This practice in North London is likely to be the only one of its kind in the U.K. I feel very lucky and grateful to be part of it. Fantastic experience: The Northern Praying Mantis School of Kung Fu, run by Sifu Bryan My son Ty, has attended this school for a number of years now and on starting his journey with Sifu, my son not only jelled with his teacher and class on the offset but he has grown to love it even more over the years. My son Ty has learned so many techniques which he is finding invaluable for life. Knowing that he is more equipped physically and mentally through Sifus teachings. Fantastic experience: Where do I begin... started training over 16 years ago with Sifu Bryan in his class, with the many traits of focus and discipline that these classes taught me it also enabled me to grow with self confidence in my own area of expertise... the classes and especially the teacher always knew best whether it was how to master a technique or how to best rest an injury or even handling difficult situations.... would highly recommend these lessons to everyone as you would all learn and enjoy the experiences.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I am Roland. It's almost one year that I joined kung-fu praying mantis school with sifu Bryan. I have to say that I am really glad that I joined kung-fu praying mantis. Apart of techniques and power, you learn to be more self confident , to control your emotions, and your body. Doesn't matter if you are older edge or young, girl or boy.

Fantastic experience: I am Bryan’s older sister - we learnt this original Kung Fu style at the same time but as it goes I gave up as my passion was not as dedicated unlike my brother! My brother has not given up a day since he started and has developed his skill to where it is now winning competitions and maturing his style to become a well respected teacher to running his own school passing on his knowledge and passion to his students! His dedication and passion is like no other - he truly loves what he does and lives to teach!

Fantastic experience: My son has been attending Northern Praying Mantis for the past three years. The approach taken is one of self control and self defence. This is a more holistic approach which is not driven by taking grades and exams but more focussed on improving the individual child according to their own needs. The classes are small so lots of 1:1 coaching of techniques with the occasional tournament thrown in. All in all a great experience.

Negative experience: My son attended for 3 years as a cash cow for sifu brian while he only trained his favourites and would not even give the other loyal attendees incentives to be graded.

Fantastic experience: I found Sifu Bryan when I was in need of self assurance. Mantis Kung fu, adapted to my personal circumstances, gave me the courage to be ready for everything without being scared in a non violent way. I have to thank him for the strength he made me find inside myself. I do not look down when some people try to threat or bully me anymore.
