Fantastic experience: The place is immaculate, good range of new free weights and cable equipment, pleasant staff and members. Very happy I joined here. Can’t personally speak for cardio, but I regularly see lots of happy, sweaty faces leaving the cardio area after a session, which seems like a good sign. It’s also never busy enough to be a problem at my training times.

Fantastic experience: Exceptionally well equipped gym, all modern equipment. Amor has friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking, good location, easy to get to. I would highly recommend their PT options, I have a superb PT Katy Lark, the improvement I made in the last 6 months is amazing, my functional strength and movement has come on leaps and bounds. They take the time to understand what you can do and where you need to get to and really tailor everything to you as an individual. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: I joined AMOR nearly a year ago now and I can honestly say I am so glad I found this independent gym. The owner, the staff the members are just so welcoming. The equipment is fantastic there is everything you need for whatever type of training you enjoy be it cardio or weights based this gym has it all in abundance. The personal training side of things has been a great help for me in becoming more confident with all the new equipment. Also the diversity of the members that attend from teenagers to O.A.P's and every age in-between everyone is friendly and it feels like a real community no judgment on anyone's abilities. The gym its self is always spotlessly clean and I personally love training there.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Amor Training since it first opened. Consistent reinvestment to improve the facilities and services on offer. The Techno gym equipment is the best on the market and great to use.

Positive experience: Decent gym, friendly staff, not too busy. Only drawbacks are the opening hours. Would be better to go a couple of hours later each day, for me personally, and the music is a bit moronic. But recommended.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined the local gym in our community, and I must say, its been an incredible experience. One of the standout features of this gym is the extensive selection of equipment available. From a wide range of machines to free weights, everything is meticulously maintained and in excellent condition. However, what truly sets this gym is its team of personal trainers. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, but they're also supportive and motivating. Matt's weekly sessions have not only helped me stay on track but also created a sense of accountability, pushing me to strive for my best self. Joining this gym has undoubtedly been one of the best decisions I've made ….. I'm excited to continue my fitness journey here!

Fantastic experience: Wouldn’t go to any other gym .. happy place! Great environment, excellent equipment. Love the SGT classes with Matt and James. Added bonus dance classes with Katy and total reformer Pilates! What more could you want but no.. add a PT with Tom (Mr Amor). 5 star gym

Fantastic experience: Just signed up, this place is amazing, Tom is very friendly and knowledgeable. The price might be slightly higher than the average, but the price is easily justified, modern equipment, quiet gym floor, and lots of parking out front.

Fantastic experience: I totally disagree with blonde, I found the staff to be extremely polite especially Katy& Evie they are attentive/polite. You didn’t mention the air conditioning……..at the right temperature. I’m glad I found this gym all praise for the staff one happy client

Fantastic experience: i’ve been with amor for just four weeks and i’m seriously loving it. had a meeting with tom who showed me round the gym, introducing me to everyone and made it a super inviting and exciting chat. i signed up there and then. he has managed to create such a positive and supportive environment and team. the gym itself is lovely - so clean (one of the first things i thought was that it doesn’t have that awful stale sweat smell - mega bonus) and the equipment is fantastic. the classes are excellent, super engaging and encouraging - i love them, signing myself up to three a week without fail! katy is incredible. she is so easy to get on with, easy to have a chat but also doesn’t take any excuses (which is so what i need haha). the whole atmosphere of the gym is unmatched. from someone who has never been a fan of the gym nor someone who has much experience, i have honestly really enjoyed it so far and will for sure be staying with them for as long as i can ⭐️

Negative experience: A lot of things a I don’t like about this gym. - majorly overpriced - never anybody on the front desk - too small and claustrophobic - no windows - PT staff don’t look like they want to be there - price doesn’t even include classes - music is too loud so you can’t hear your own headphones - the 4 bikes they have aren’t suitable for women or people who need the low seated bikes - classes are only for intense gym attendees, so nothing suitable for people who can’t keep up with them - atmosphere is not friendly and inclusive

Fantastic experience: If you read the reviews for Amor, it is clear that the quality of the team as well as the facilities is impressive. I am an older person who has successfully avoided exercise and improving my health for decades. Over the past few years though, with the support of Matt, my endlessly patient and encouraging personal trainer, I have come to experience the benefits of activity, strength and mobility in my daily life. A year ago, Matt introduced me to Amor, and I have to say that for the first time, I feel completely happy about exercising in the gym with my arthritic knees and other health issues to add into the mix. For me, I feel supported, encouraged and definitely not excluded for being less fit than anyone else. As I now work towards a specific goal in April 2024, I know that I can have the confidence on the way to ask for advice and guidance from anyone on the team, as I trust their experience and expertise completely. Well done on establishing a welcoming, professional and inclusive gym environment where all kinds of people are able to achieve quality outcomes for their own health, fitness and wellbeing - I am very glad to be part of the Amor crew!

Fantastic experience: I joined Amor in January - having never really been a "gym" person I wasn't sure what to expect and was quite nervous about it! From the very beginning the whole team made me feel so welcome and supported, especially Katy in my PT sessions. I've recently started attending classes a few times each week - something I never thought I'd be brave enough to do - and it has been amazing to feel part of a friendly and encouraging community. Being a member at Amor has had such a positive impact on both my physical and mental health, I can't recommend it highly enough!

Whatever age you are, whatever shape you’re in, you will never feel out of place or self conscious. The personal trainers are great. Mine (James) pushes me to do so much more that I would do on my own, but makes the time really enjoyable. Would not hesitate to recommend Amor.

Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness!! I have to say that Amor is changing my life!! I love this Gym. I was feeling so deflated and fed up with my old gym, and had lost all enthuiasm for training. A friend of mine told me all about Amor Training, and I am sooo glad he did. Tom, Amy, James and Katy are the best! So knowledgeable, and very helpful, and are always smiling!! The Gym equipment is the lastest technology, excellent facilites, fab music - and what a great vibe! A fantastic mixture of classes are also available - there is literally something for everyone. As soon as you walk in, you naturally feel lifted and upbeat. Everyone is made to feel so welcome, no matter what size you are, and what level of ability. I am so glad that I have made the decision to join this gym - and I have found my mojo again, and love training! Could'nt recommend Armor enough!

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that I have never been a gym person, I would break out in a sweat at the thought of going to a gym, and always said I could never find the time to go. Now, I’m breaking a sweat in this gym because it is absolutely brilliant in every way. My lunchtime gym sessions are booked in my work diary and the difference it has made to me mentally and physically has been incredible. The equipment is first class, plenty of choice, all very clean and airy, the SGT classes are brilliant, so there is something for everyone! The staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly, they motivate and support you every step of the way, but also let you get on with your mission. Everyone is so friendly and there is no awkwardness when trying new equipment or exercises. The age range and diversity of abilities, shapes, sizes is so refreshing, there are a lot of inspirational gym goers. If you are reading this review and thinking about joining Amor Training, don’t think about it, just join, you will not regret it and you will love this gym and the Amor Family, I LOVE this gym and you will too!

Fantastic experience: The only gym I’ve felt motivated to go to due to the facilities and staff. I have been able to use the equipment with zero wait time and the staff surrounding you are always willing to help. Top quality equipment and an overall much better gym than any I’ve tried (David Lloyd, Cambourne ect.). The more than reasonable membership fees are worth paying for the benefits. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have had several sports massages from Charlotte at Amor for various issues. I have received treatment from several therapists in the past to no avail, but Charlotte identified & fixed my problems almost immediately. She has a profound knowledge of her subject and I will be taking all of my aches and pains to her from here on!

Katy, James, Tom and Amy are all friendly, knowledgeable and motivational PTs; I have my PT sessions with Katy and am doing things I never imagined possible when I first joined - and feeling stronger and fitter than ever. The gym has a pleasant atmosphere and is well run by Tom East. I live in cambridge but find it more convenient to come out to Hardwick where there is free parking

Fantastic experience: The staff at Amor have been really supportive and encouraging in helping me to get my confidence and enjoyment back with exercise and how i feel about myself and my business. The most significant change for me has been moving away from how much i weigh to how i feel about my mind and my body! They are amazing and I would highly recommend the team to anyone looking for something different and to make a change. It's worth remembering, if you do the same.....you will always get the same; so make a change and pop in and see them.

Fantastic experience: I have tried numerous gyms in the past and will admit to being that person with great intentions but that ends up paying for nothing until I can get out of the contract. Gyms scared me. Until I found Amor Training that is. I now consistently go to the gym numerous times a week, and most importantly, I look forward to going and enjoy it when I'm there. All of the team at Amor are friendly, supportive and very knowledgeable. The equipment is the best I've seen and such a good variety available. My fellow gym goers are all so friendly too. As someone who isn't a "gym bunny" or a fitness fanatic, it's important to me that I feel comfortable and at ease when I go and at Amor I most definitely do. There is never any judgement, just support, encouragement and a healthy dose of banter & laughs. I have regular PT sessions and attend the Small Group Training classes which have both helped me immensely with confidence in the gym, rehabilitation of an injury and gaining, and improving strength. It's always made fun and the time flies by because I enjoy it. I can't thank my Amor family enough for the improvement in both my physical and mental health. It's definitely Amor ❤

Fantastic experience: I have trained for a number of years and can really recommend this place. Good, clean equipment with genuinely friendly and knowledgeable staff. My last gym was roughly half the monthly cost but the free parking, easy access/opening times and quality of this place more than makes up for it.

Fantastic experience: Both my wife and I use the AMOR Sports Therapy and Sport Massage service at AMOR in Cambridge, and seriously if you have never had this done before - take up the offer of a FREE first consultation. My wife has always had issues with her upper back and shoulder and doctors have told her she needed steroid injections - however 3 sessions in with Charlotte at AMOR and it seems to be easing a lot of the pain and tension to the point for the first time in months my wife has slept pain free throughout the night.... I really cannot endorse this service enough - the best way to find out is the FREE trial offer as this will unpick a lot of your issues very quickly and you will start to feel and move better.... BTW I am by no way a "sports person" or "athlete" but the Sports Massage is highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I've been training at Amor for 4 years, they are more than just a gym with a range of training options to suit everyone, the experience, flexibility and motivation given by the coaches there is absolutely excellent They offer a range of services including sports massage, personal training, group classes, dance lessons and reformer Pilates. If you need any advice such as how to get started, you need to change your training or need help with injuries or physical problems then give them a call as I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help.

The atmosphere is fantastic as you're surrounded by motivated, supportive members and trainers. The trainers are outstanding. They are knowledgeable, passionate and genuinely care about you and your progress. The equipment speaks for itself, its state of the art, what more could you ask for. I have joined the small group classes, which are great fun, and hard work. Tom, Jamie and Sean are knowledgeable, enjoy teaching and they acknowledge everyone who comes in. Dont delay !
