Fantastic experience: GOVER GYM is a fantastic gym, it also has a great outside space with beautiful views. I've competed there a few times and love it - well organised, fun and great standards. The staff are welcoming and its a very friendly gym.

Fantastic experience: Ace - worthy of every one of the 5 stars. Genuinely the friendliest gym I've ever trained in. No egos. Caters for all ages and abilities across pretty much everything from powerlifting through functional fitness, martial arts and pilates. PT, classes or just get your head down and train. Has plenty of indoor and outdoor space, equipment, and (importantly, to me at least), it's properly run, super-clean and v.well organised and tidy. David and his team are super-knowledgeable and provide as little or as much structure, guidance and support as you need (or not). It's an amazing community. Oh - and having trained mostly in London over the last five years - not only is it super-welcoming, it's also refreshingly well-priced in comparison (I started on their day passes, now on the full-fat monthly membership and it's worth every penny). Can't recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Simply the best most inclusive gym I’ve been to, and I’ve belonged to many. I’ve had Dave as a PT on and off for a number of years and he has performed miracles on a middle aged man. All the staff are hugely friendly and the atmosphere is always buzzing which can been seen by all the smiles.

Fantastic experience: Just popped in for a day pass whilst staying in a local village for the weekend. Wish I lived closer as it's a fantastic gym. Great people, great setup and the group doing a class seemed to be close and friendly. Different rooms and an outside bit with great apparatus.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym. David and his team are brilliant. Everyone and anyone is welcome and supported. If you want interaction or just to get your head set on and train. Great circuits but mainly a weights / strength training gym. I go with my 16 Yr old son, no one raises an eyebrow, everyone polite and will offer advice if wanted. A weird and wonderful world are gyms and this is one of the best. David's passion and ethos shines through. A good place to be....

Fantastic experience: A really good gym for anyone who wants to consider doing seriously good workouts using professional equipment. Their running machines are funky as they only work if you run and adjust the speed accordingly.

Fantastic experience: All the stations / free weights you could ask for with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Functional fitness classes are intense and the gym is really geared up for strength / muscle building.

Fantastic experience: I have Boxing Fitness Training with Nick at Gover Gym. He is very talented, and knowledgeable. He works with people of all levels in the boxing fraternity, Gover Gym is a great place to exercise.

The equipment is brilliant, the atmosphere is friendly and encouraging and the staff are fantastic individuals who you can tell have a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals. Would recommend this gym to anyone who’s either just starting or a seasoned gym goer.

Fantastic experience: Always enjoy a workout here. A wide range of equipment to choose from, whether with machines, plates, calisthenics or cardio. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Easy to park. No long trek or waiting around at the reception desk. Love the leg press machine and protein bars, too :-)

Fantastic experience: This gym has to be the friendliest gym ever. They cater for all levels of fitness and they are so polite, welcoming, kind and helpful. They really go the extra mile to help everyone and they are passionate about what they do. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I've been to few classes and the first thing I noticed about this gym is how friendly and welcoming everyone was. It can be quite daunting to make the first step into a new gym, particularly if like me you haven't done any exercise for a while. The classes are really good fun, sweaty and make you feel like you've had a really good workout. The classes not only make you fitter but they are great for your mind too . The Covid measures they have in place are excellent. They check your temparature on arrival, you have your own antibac spray and cloth to wipe down your equipment and you have plenty of space to socially distant. I can't wait to get back again after the second lockdown.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. The staff are amazing. They make everyone feel welcome and not out of place, I was a bit sefl conscious being older, but that thought soon evaporated. Great equipment and fun classes. Highly recommend. Pay as you go is the big bonus for me.

Negative experience: GOOOOVAN GYMMY WAS A RUBBISH PLACE. You have to work hard and run on treadmills and it was exausting but the people say no you signed up for the gym thing but I thought gym meant eating.
