Fantastic experience: FXD is the only gym I have ever felt immediately comfortable in. I can confidently say the staff are super welcoming, the equipment is new and clean, and the members are incredibly inclusive and supportive (even to newbies). There are lots of personal trainers to talk to at this gym, as well as physio and massage specialists if you need them. Overall, it's brilliant! I'm super glad I found them.

Fantastic experience: I have physiotherapy with Rob and would highly recommend him. I first met him when my son was injured doing Rugby about 2 years ago. However, the whole team at FXD Fitness are warm, welcoming and extremely supportive.

Fantastic experience: I've been in many gyms in Nottingham area and other towns for both leisure and work, and let me say that this gym is the best one so far. I subscribed a monthly membership about 5 months ago and found the environment absolutely great! The first thing I would like to address is the kindness and politeness of their staff. In most commercial gyms you are just a number, another client who walks-in, does their bit and goes away. Here every member of the staff is very friendly and most important thing (for me) they smile at you. They are always available to help and answer your questions. Therefore, customer service is 5*. Cleanliness is essential for me and I found all rooms, from gym floor to toilets and change rooms very clean. A special note goes to the choice of the toilet paper: I'm sure someone would find this funny, but they use good quality toilet paper, while in other gyms (also the most famous ones that require high price memberships) I've always found cheap toilet paper. They say "It’s the little things that can make a big difference". Well, here we go, one little thing that probably no one would think about, but that shows the careness these people put in ensuring that everything is perfect for their customers. The gym equipment is in excellent conditions and I've always found everything I needed for my workout. The studio as well is big and well equipped. The music on the gym floor is never too loud (something that I really appreciate, because I can listen to my music and podcast at a lower volume and with no noise in the background). The temperature on the gym floor is perfect. In the other gyms I've always found some areas where it feels like the North Pole or the equator, while here it feels like a bottle of Italian red wine slightly chilled below room temperature: PERFECT! I like this gym so much that for the first time in my life I moved from a monthly to an annual membership. If there were more gyms like this, I'm sure that many more people would enter the fitness world.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined FXD since Christmas, with strong recommendation from a friend. I've used council gyms before, and never felt very comfortable, but at FXD I feel very comfortable, everybody who works there & uses the gym is very friendly & non judgemental. The equipment is great, I always make use of the QR codes available on each piece of equipment which was a demonstration video on how to use. Aswell as the gym, I attend bootcamp classes, which suit me and my family routine, 30mins of an early morning is great for me. I'm looking forward to taking full advantage of a free induction being offered by one of the coaches aswell. Looking forward to growing my confidence even more this year & sticking with the FXD gym!

Fantastic experience: I have been at FXD since November 2023 and I just wish I made the move sooner, rather than just thinking about it! I do a mix of classes and gym workouts now, but when I first joined I did the start up plan which was a fantastic way to get a gym induction on how to use the equipment. I did then decide to add on PT sessions with the fabulous Joe, He has built my confidence up to use loads of equipment and increase weights to push myself (which I would never of even tried). I actually enjoy coming to all sessions (although grumble throughout.. Sorry everyone ) I have been on a massive weight loss journey for the past 3 years and was at a point where no more weight was coming off, but I am so happy to say that I have movement on the scales and the inches are coming off again - yay! And it's thanks to FXD Fitness that this is happening again. Everyone is fantastic and I truly mean this, all the staff are so helpful and other gym members are just as friendly. Fantastic experience: I've been training at FXD for a month now. Just train on a pay per visit basis which works for me. Never to busy, nice atmosphere with good staff. All the quality equipment you could need. 5☆

Fantastic experience: Been a member here for two years now. My favourite gym I've been too, the equipment is fantastic, everyone treats the place and each other with respect. I typically workout on my own but I also enjoy going to the classes when I can make them fit in my routine. Everyone is very friendly and although it's fairly small it absolutely has everything you need and you can typically get on everything you need to, some days are busier than others but that is what it is

Very informative, told me exactly where’s the problem, how to massage it at home , what exercises to do and what should I expect from my injured leg moving forward. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing facilities and atmosphere! Equipment 100 times better and cleaner than Bridgford “premium” gym I was a member at before. Would never train anywhere else - not at all intimidating and so nice to have a gym that thinks about member needs! No joining fee & no contracts.. even better for a part timer like me!

Negative experience: Did not enjoy training there over the course of 2021. Staff were arrogant and took to shaming customers on Instagram whenever they felt like it.

My favourite thing about this place ... its clean!! The users are really conscientious and the team leave cleaning materials for us to use.

Fantastic experience: I joined FXD 9 months ago with the sole purpose of losing some timber. I lost 4 stone. But to be perfectly clear, this had very little to do with either myself or the first class equipment. Everyone goes to a gym with good intentions, and every gym has the equipment for you to succeed, but I wouldn’t have done it without the most important, incredible and unique element that this gym offers, THE FAMILY. The owner (the real life Peter Lefleur) and my PT Hannah have changed/saved my life, the effort these two have put into my life and well being is off the scale. But they are just a part of it, every member of staff I have the pleasure of seeing each week, have become friends, from Ben on reception, encouraging you before and after every session, to Katie, Amelia, Martin, Lindsey the list goes on, they all go out their way to help and make you feel at home, but what makes this place even more special is the members, we are in it together, from the ten minute conversations of how much we hate leg day, to a simple nod of the head to each other, we have each other’s backs and that’s not only unique in a gym environment but life in general. They have all the equipment you need and more. I usually feel nervous about joining a gym because at the moment I'm a bigger girl and I haven't lifted weights in a while, but I can honestly say I already feel like a member of the FXD family - I feel so comfortable here. This is the first gym I've been to where I actually LOOK FORWARD to going. My partner has also joined and he loves it too. Thanks team

Fantastic experience: Honestly could not recommend Joe highly enough. I was in an absolutely awful state both mentally and physically when my other half bought me some sessions 4/5 months ago. Since then I’ve been going twice a week and he has been so supportive through the whole process. I genuinely feel so lucky for Joe coming into my life when I needed it most. He is worth every single penny and more.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with a fabulous Personal Trainer. It’s a friendly one to one PT environment with all of the kit you need along with expertise and guidance of the PT Joe. As its newly opened, I had my first session this week and it exceeded my already high expectations. Mentally relaxing, physically demanding and very enjoyable.
