Bracknell Swimarium

Fantastic experience: Fantastic swim school. Had two children thrive by the experience and excellent teachers at the Swimarium. My youngest has progressed so well under the teaching of Nat for a number of months now, and recently moved to Dylan who has been super encouraging and reignited her love for swimming. Equally, as someone who was keen to return to adult swimming (having been competitive in my teens), I have loved the feeling of accomplishment I have felt under the guidance of Lee in the Tuesday evening adult classes. Such a great swim school full of very talented teachers. Cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Bracknell Swimarium is a fantastic facility that provides swimmers of all skill levels with the opportunity to learn and gain confidence in the water. The instructors are highly enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, which is evident in the progress my children have made. I highly recommend Bracknell Swimarium to anyone looking for a great place to learn to swim.

Fantastic experience: My daughter participated in three Fast Track courses this summer, marking her first visit to the pool. She began with no prior experience, and now she almost manages to swim independently. I believe this is a significant achievement! Many thanks to the amazing teachers, Elliot and Lee!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been coming for over 6 weeks now and has improved amazingly from a beginner with no experience! Her swimming has progressed throughout and all the instructors have done a great job so far! Dylan her current instructor is very patient and makes his classes very enjoyable and does an amazing job teaching! Will hugely recommend bringing your child if you are considering you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Our son has been swimming here for a couple of years now and absolutely loves his lessons. The teachers here are so good at figuring out what works for the children and building their confidence. He is currently in one of Charlotte's classes and she has really been a positive influence on his swimming. She knows exactly what he needs in order to get the best out of his lessons. He has also just completed a fast track week with Lee and the progress we could see by the end of the week is fantastic! I would 100% recommend Bracknell Swimarium to anyone! Thank you for helping build our son's confidence and building such an important life skill!

Fantastic experience: Incredible instructors!

Fantastic experience: I'm an adult learning to swim and joined the school around 2 months ago. The lessons really have been invaluable as I feel that my confidence & skills in the water have improved immensely. The coaches are excellent, provide lots of positive encouragement without pushing you too far outside of your comfort zone and have so much patience. I'd like to take the opportunity to express my thanks! If you're an adult who'd like to learn from scratch, is nervous in the water or would like to improve your swimming skills then I highly recommend these guys! The same can be said for their children's/young adult's lessons but I have no direct experience of this myself. PS. Being part of the last class of the day, I'd like to add that I'm fairly certain the coaches provide as much encouragement, teaching & enthusiasm as they do at the start of day which is rather impressive considering that they teach right up until 9:15pm! Kudos to them! They are appreciated!

Fantastic experience: Best swim school around. Fantastic teachers, my children really enjoy their lessons and they are constantly improving. The quality of teaching is extremely high and the lessons are fun also. So pleased we swim here and we would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Whilst watching my grandson on his intense swim course,I was impressed with how the teacher ,Dylan, controlled the class,no raised voices but was firm if needed. He discussed any problems with the child individually not in front of other students. He was positive with all students, encouraging them all the time. My grandson has really grown with his confidence and swimming.

Fantastic experience: Best swim school in bracknell and surrounding area. Both my children have leaned to swim here and both leave as advanced swimmers. The teachers are just excellent and have amazing ways of getting the children to learn how to swim correctly. I can not praise this place enough. Thank you all so much for giving my children what is probably the most important life skill.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to all the team for being soooo ridiculously considerate when entirely independently planning the next class for my son to move to. The joined up thinking to place him in the same session as his sister without even being asked by us was so welcome and is just an indication of how much you not only care about the kids but think about what’s easiest for the parents too. You definitely win when it comes to ranking of activity providers!!

Positive experience: Generally great, but very poor when the owner decides to take a lesson

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been swimming with the Swim School in Bracknell since March last year. Starting in the beginner with parent classes, too nervous to let go of the sides. She has very quickly progressed up through the grades & is now in the Improver class, swimming confidently without any aids. The teaching staff at the swim school are beyond amazing, their style of teaching allows children to learn whilst having fun & they invest all of their time & effort into each lesson. They deliver the lessons with confidence, they’re structured but relaxed for the children, incredibly enjoyable to watch & have become a regular part of her life. She looks forward to going each week & despite her behaviour being challenging at certain times, the teachers remain patient & provide support. The round up at the end of the lesson is fantastic & provides us parents & children with communication regarding what they are working on & how they have improved, which helps when discussing the lesson at home & recapping what they have achieved. I can relax knowing she is safe & gaining life long skills. I am so glad I chose the Swim School to teach my daughter. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Part of the Sarah Harris Swimming School. Teachers and staff are outstanding. My children have been swimming with them for 8-9 years, and we love them. There are too many good things to write down in a review like this. If you're looking at them for the first time, come around, watch a lesson, have a chat with Elliot, Jamie or Nat. You won't regret.

Fantastic experience: The team at the Swimarium are just brilliant. Both of my children swim there and, whilst they are very different when it comes to their feelings about swimming, they have both absolutely thrived. We've had many different teachers as they've progressed through the classes and all the teachers are fantastic, each with their own style and approach. I would 100% recommend the Swimarium to anyone looking for lessons for their children.

Fantastic experience: Bracknell swimarium is amazing. Both my children were swimming independently within 3 weeks having never had any lessons before!! The instructors are great with the children and really give them confidence to keep learning new things. Thanks to all the team.

Fantastic experience: A friend referred us to the Swimarium after our youngest refused to even enter the water where our eldest had lessons. I think they got tired of me standing poor side trying to coax him in! We started right at the beginning with me in the water with him and now he is at Stroke Improver with a lovely style. We got our eldest enrolled as well and she has gained a great deal of confidence in the water and flies up and down the pool. My sister has taken both kids swimming on occasion and picked up tips from Hus to aid her open water swimming! The length of the lessons is great so that nothing feels rushed. I cannot recommend these lessons highly enough.

Fantastic experience: For years we have been taking our children to swimmarium and we have tried many other swimming schools. We think their lesson style and duration is the best out there. Great teachers, currently with Adam and Elliot and very pleased with them. The showers could be better…

Fantastic experience: Both my son 9 and daughter 7 have lessons at this pool. The staff are excellent. So engaging with the children. Nothing like how I remember my boring swim lessons. They are fun and give clear instructions. ........and teach kids to swim at the same time. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: We tried a few swim schools before we found Bracknell Swimarium and this is by far the best! Lessons are longer, class sizes are smaller and teaching is professional but fun. My son really loves his lessons.

Fantastic experience: My daughter started with the Swim School in Bracknell around May 2021. She had been taking group lessons since a baby but still couldn't swim independently without aids, aged 7. Very rapidly, thanks to the brilliant "muscles" system, she was able to float, rather than sink, when swimming a length without aids. I'm not leaving this school and the brilliant team of teachers until she is a confident swimmer. Her progress has been amazing!

Fantastic experience: My boys have been swimming here for a year now and their skills have improved sooo much. I love all the energy and the good vibes of everyone in the team. And most of all they teach not only great techniques but safety in the water which is very important.

Fantastic experience: This is the only school (and we have tried many!) where we have seen progress. My daughter (who was scared to even put her ears in the water) can now jump in and can nearly swim fully unaided. An absolutely incredible school. Fantastic experience: After trying several other local swim schools, we hit the jackpot with The Swim School. They strike the perfect balance of first class instruction with brilliant teachers, small class size, and lots of fun for the kids. Both my children adore their classes here and have become strong, confident swimmers.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault the teaching methods or the instructors at The Swim School. They're all super encouraging and do a great job of building up the confidence of all the children they teach. They do such a great job at acknowledging when a child has done something well or is working hard - I know that with my own daughter, this really helps in driving her and making her want to do better.

Fantastic experience: A big shout out to Lee and Eliot at the Bracknell Swimarium! My granddaughter did a fast track course over this half term and absolutely loved it. Her confidence grew everyday and she ended up in Improver Plus by the end of the week!

Fantastic experience: My Grand Daughter has been swimming her for a few months. The building appears really clean, staff are friendly and the swim tutors experienced and children all appear to enjoy their lessons.

Fantastic experience: There for school swimming lessons, great friendly teachers who have led to even the most nervous of non swimmers become more confident and enjoy their lessons.

Fantastic experience: This school is amazing! Very unassuming from the outside and a very simple set up. But wow! The staff are incredible. They are all passionate and amazing in how they deal with the Kids on a personal level and working with them in line with their personalities! My son started with lessons in June this year, he was cautious and anxious at first. But his water confidence has grown, with him now being the first one to jump into the deep end and flying through the levels. Swimming now is one of his highlights of the week Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: My son has been taking lessons here for the last 5 years and loves it. He's gone from beginner all he way to advanced. The staff are amazing with the kids and you can see their passion for what they do.

Fantastic experience: Far and away the best swimming instructors we’ve ever used. Our 6-year old progressed more in a few weeks here than months at previous places. Very engaging, funny and kind teachers. Can’t fault it.

Positive experience: I would like to give more but I have been swimming in this pool since school and now we are not aloud shocking it's in harmanswater isn't it well let us use it

Fantastic experience: My daughter is swimming with swimarium for 2 years now. She enjoys very much and never says she doesn't want to go. Teachers are very creative and create exciting lessons for little ones. fast track courses during school holidays and half terms what a great idea in boosting your child's swimming skills! we will be continuing in attending swimming lessons there for years. the head office is so helpful and is very swift in replying back to my emails. Adriana also attends gymnastics there which is great! everything is at the same venue! Thank you. i have another little one as soon as she turns 3 she will also be attending swimming lessons.

Negative experience: Not great. Would definitely not recommend. Tucked me up on fees without informing me and lots of pupils with only 2 instructors. Made me very nervous seeing young pupils struggle in the deep end with no eyes on them!! Not good.

Fantastic experience: My son's swimming has come on unbelievably since he started lessons here. Absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Really good swim lessons 5 years later and we are still happy here. My kids can both swim better than me now! I love the way they are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone in a positive and supported manner. For example, my youngest didn't used to like putting his face in the water. So his face was a chicken nugget and the pool was the tomato ketchup and they had to try and dunk chicken nugget in the tomato ketchup as they swam. He was fine putting his face in the water after that summer! :-)

Positive experience: Excellent teaching staff. So much more pro-active and involved than many. Some classes a bit full though with 8 in each. Would be better with 6 max.
