Fantastic experience: Love this gym. It's got a great atmosphere about it and as a woman going to the gym I never feel judged or intimidated. It's got a really great range of equipment and I'm never short of things to do.

Positive experience: Great gym, one of the best ones around the area. Only complaint is as with all gyms it gets a big busy and the gym floor is a little crowded, although that's only because they pack so much in. Great choice for a local gym, easy 24/7 access.

Fantastic experience: I’m not a huge fan of gyms ever since I discovered running outside (I’ll avoid the obvious parkrun plug). I’ve since been diagnosed with hyper-mobility by my physio which has resulted in some pretty nasty chronic running injuries (pffft, outside running huh?). So I’ve been ordered into gym. Lemans Gym is pretty awesome because I can pay-as-you-go (£6 a day) and they’re unmanned, so I can rock up at 5am to a relatively quiet gym get my single leg extensions done and then leave. The gym is clean, well maintained and very well and full featured. The staff I have seen there have been friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: 24-hour gym with a fair range of kit. Excellent set of dumbells and machines. Could do with an adjustable incline bench for heavy lifts. Atmosphere is a real strength, as is the friendly clientele. Parking is free and plentiful.

Fantastic experience: As a competitive bodybuilder I prefer an ego free relaxed gym as apposed to the typical “bodybuilder” gyms for myself and since moving to the area I cannot fault the gym it’s very close to town has a sunbed, new equipment just come in, food, supps and shakes available and extremely kind and help staff! It’s good enough for mr universe

Positive experience: Joined online before seeing the gym in person as the reviews are great. They were giving away free drinks to anyone who did a review, so perhaps that’s why they’re all 5 stars, as my experience was a bit different. The roof leaks, so after it rains there’s wet patches on the floor and a musty smell, as well as a mould problem. There is a good range of equipment, but it can be impossible to get a bench or popular machine at busy times. I joined with a cancel anytime membership. I asked a staff member on one of my first visits how much notice I needed to give to cancel as we were only staying in town for a few months. I was told a couple of days. Turns out it’s 30 days, which resulted in me paying for an extra month I didn’t use (I know I should’ve read the contract more closely, but staff also shouldn’t give out incorrect information if they’re unsure).

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym in September and I go about 4 - 5 times a week. Having a 24 hour gym in Halstead is great, the last time I had a gym like this was when I lived in London and having this on my doorstep is just amazing. The Gym is also well equipped even on those busy days I can still do my work out using different equipment. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Thanks again for a top notch gym :)

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into the doors of this gym, the relaxed atmosphere is exactly what I needed. Don’t let that fool you into thinking that you can’t get a bloody amazing workout! The owner is always improving the gym on a monthly basis. He listens to recommendations and takes customer feedback seriously. Staff are all lovely and easy to approach. Considering how small Halstead is, this gym is a big treasure! Can’t wait to see how it keeps evolving .

Fantastic experience: Have recently joined Lemans Gym in the past two months. Very friendly staff and and great all round gym with also plenty of cardio and some floor space for your own personalised workout. Parking and prices are very good and there is plenty of space. My favourite part about this gym is that it does offer the 24hr service which suits my lifestyle and work life balance. Would thoroughly recommend anyone wanting to join Lemans and if they had any questions staff at Lemans would be more than happy to help anyone.

Fantastic experience: Local gym which has everything you need. Has good amount of weight lifting and cardio machines. Every month they bring in something new sometimes even a few things at the same time which is really cool. Staff is friendly and helpful! They don’t play your typical gym music (ie chart music all day which is v nice) they play a big mix :) also 24 hours is so helpful when you can’t fit gym in during manned hours, best gym in the Local area for sure

Fantastic experience: Love this gym, Scott and Alex have done a great job at keeping the gym up to date with new kit and always reinvesting for all the members. You have no excuse not to train when they have made it 24/7 access and are always buying new machines. The music is always booming and the staff are extremely friendly!

Positive experience: We've had our first 4 days at lemans gym, and we love it! There are so many machines and sets of weights to use, plenty of cardio options and access to advice from the staff during opening hours. I love that we can access the gym 24/7, not depending in staff to open up for us. As a woman, I feel really comfortable there. Even though I'm not confident in myself I don't feel like other people are looking at me or judging me at this gym. This is a gym for people wanting to improve fitness, not just for looking good. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the changing rooms and toilets could do with updating. I actually do use them so I can get ready for work aftwr the gym and they aren't amazing. Overall, I would recommend to a friend wholeheartedly, and the joint membership deal is great for couples. Give them a try!

Fantastic experience: Prices are good here with all the help and facilities that someone looking a gym would need. If your not a member of the gym already then there is a £5 day pass that you can buy. They also have a great selection of drinks that you can buy before you start your workout.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, recently joined and the staff have been super helpful, there is a barbers and tan beds for those who are interested, you’ll struggle to find a fault with the equipment, there’s everything you could ever need. Really pleased with everything so far.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love going to this gym, the staff are friendly and it has all the equipment I need. It's also open 24hrs so for someone like me who works nights and has a messed up sleeping schedule this is great as it means I can go during the night at weekends. I've been joint to different gyms before but this one seems to motivate me to work harder and do better. At lemans gym they also have an excellent barbers and a sunbed if that's something your interested in. I couldn't praise this gym any higher!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym for the price. If you're looking to do mainly compound training, this gym has you covered. Mornings are the best time to go if you are an early bird. It's 24 hours so that's a bonus.

Fantastic experience: Having worked in the Fitness Industry, I am very particular as to what facility I personally choose to workout in. I had had tours in 10+ gyms in the area prior to joining Lemans, and was not completely satisfied with any. It's not about the touchy-feel elements, it's about the ethos of the facility and the 'value for money' (as opposed to 'just the cheapest'). This gym also offers 4xPT sessions per month within it's top membership tiers, which, when you work out what it would cost to have a membership & a PT package in an alternative facility, make for great financial reading! That on top of it being a 24hr facility in a location that does not offer 24hr anything (!) results in a good decision.

Fantastic experience: Can't rate Lemans highly enough. Have been going for about a year and having Personal Training. The trainers are all really friendly and professional and put me through my paces. Always new equipment arriving, and since lockdown everything has been clearly marked out and new rules put in place. Love that there is 24hr access too, means I don't have to rush home from work just to go now as I can go later in the evening! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault this gym AT ALL! So many precautions, everyone is respectful of rules and boundaries and there are lots of cleaning/sanitising stations for wiping down equipment. It’s still the same family environment it has always been and shows they really care about the welfare of their clients. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym I've ever been a member of! I joined after reconstructive surgery to my ankle as I wasnt sure how to keep fit and strong whilst recovering. I had a personal training membership for 2 months(before moving to a normal membership) and the support I had through that was amazing! Scott put so much thought into what exercises I could do whilst still wearing a boot and how to work with the injury that I returned to the rugby pitch just 3 months after surgery. Scott invests in the gym with new equipment every month, as well as adding a mezzanine level and refurbishing the toilets and changing areas as well. 24 hours access is a godsend too and even if you go in busy times, it's a friendly gym and just a nice place to be. I can't wait to go back after lockdown!
