Fantastic experience: I was in the area and just used the gym on a one day pass. No complaints whatsoever, this gym has a very good range of equipment, and will use again next time I'm in Leicester.

Fantastic experience: Never used the Gym but i do go to Urban Martial Arts upstairs. Bruce Lees JEET KUNE DO taught by the most knowledgeable instructors of this art form.

Fantastic experience: Been to loads of gyms and I honestly have to say this is the best around, everything from the equipment to supplements, nothing has been left to chance. and to top it off the tidyness of the place is unreal - ALL member tidy up after themselves, all plates are put back in order, and dumbells are paired. Gym members are great all friendly and not one attitude to be seen. Thanks Neil - an amazing GYM

Fantastic experience: One of the best kitted-out gyms in the country. None of the cheap and chearful kit, but expensive Prime and other similar branded kit. Recommended for serious weight training.

Fantastic experience: From my own experience this is the best gym in the whole Leicester, yes I seen all of them, this has best equipment some I never seen before , air conditioning, friendly staff! Needed to extend weekend working hours! ⚒️

Positive experience: One of the best gyms I've been to in the Leicestershire area. Its the only place I've seen Panatta machines, which are some of the most incredible machines in the world. All the members I've interacted with have been sound. Music is craking too which is a bonus. I'm giving it a 4.5, only because there is only one deadlift platform currently. It would be great to see another added where the other squat rack is situated. Staff are always nice and chatty, keep up the amazing work.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym - I’m working locally and was looking for somewhere to train/workout for a couple of weeks. This gym has it all every workout is a joy with a wide variety of machines and free weights you can hit all muscle groups effectively. Gym members and staff are welcoming and friendly (no ego heads). Parking hasn’t been an issue even though there is limited spaces but so far haven’t had a problem. Will always be coming to this gym when I’m in Leicester.

Fantastic experience: Local gym.. I pop there for 40minutes in the afternoons.. Has everything you need.. The more u-put-in, the more u get out of it!! Masses of weight training equipment, heavy metal. Nice folk..

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Leicester by a mile. The kit is fantastic - Panatta, Cybex and Hammer Strength pieces primarily and the owners are always investing in new machines. Oftentimes this is after members request particular pieces of kit. I can point to at least three new machines in the last few months! Dumbbells are plentiful with three sets up to 30kg and then they go up to 62.5kg. There is a dedicated deadlift station with Texas bar as well as two further squat racks, two very good cybex smiths. Loads of leg equipment to cover pretty much anything you could want - i.e. 3 leg press variants, pendulum squat, 2 hack variants, belt squat, 3 ham curl variants. There are more weight plates than you couid shake a stick at, all new and in great condition. No knackered old rusty weight plates with chunks missing here! You're literally never short of 20kg biscuits no matter how much you want to load any machine and they're positioned smartly so you never have to walk more than a step or two to load any machine. The staff are always tidying the gym, ensuring weights are tidy, floors are hoovered etc so it makes it a really nice environment to work out in. Recently the owners installed a fully kitted out dedicated posing room. There is also multiple choices of cardio kit inclduing two top-end stair climbers. Owners and staff are all mega friendly and there is a great crowd of regulars of all levels, from beginners through to high level amateur athletes, strongmen, and even a couple of IFBB Pros who train here relatively frequently. Yes, parking can be busy at peak times, but there is a pub down the road you can park in as well as a few roads locally that are a very short walk. And a few steps is a small price to pay for great equipment, great atmosphere and an extremely reasonable monthly membership with a couples option. And, unlike a lot of other independent gyms, they have air conditioning!

Negative experience: I gave two star as even the equipments are suffecient, parking is a nightmare. Never get place to park there and there are no other places to park close-by. I cancelled my membership and joined another gym for that purpose. I don't think they can do anything to improve it as the location in which the gym is congested.

Fantastic experience: I am giving this gym 5 stars to stand up to the government and keep your gym open! Mental health issues are on the rise. Suicide rates are higher in the winter than they are in summer. It is important to keep our businesses open else they will crash. We all need to be stronger to support our local businesses. I see many gyms refusing to close and refusing any fines or summons. I stand and fully support this decision. I just wish we had a more encouraging environment. Please remain open Progress Works.

Fantastic experience: Large selection and good amount of dumbbells / plates with plenty of benches, a separate leg room and a separate cardio room. Plenty of decent machines all Cybex good quality. Air con throughout. Changing rooms, showers and lockers all good. I would like to see another power rack and deadlift area as it's a struggle to get on them, otherwise would be 5* Edit - loads more kit changed to 5* has everything you need
