180 Fitness | Retford Gym

Fantastic experience: Having managed to get to 53 years old without stepping inside a gym, as you can imagine I was way out of my comfort Zone. The team at 180 made me feel very welcome and continue to support me on my aim to try and limit the ageing process. The gym is friendly and unintimidating and despite my limitations I have only experienced encouragement and support with no judgement's from any of the staff or members. This place has changed my view on fitness and Gym's and cant speak highly enough of the Venue and team at 180. Highly recommended !!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym!! My previous experience of gyms had left me feeling out of place, overwhelmed and generally defeated. So when I heard 180 was a smaller, friendlier gym I decided to check it out. Jake was so helpful and set me up a meeting where I developed a training plan and had a go on all the equipment. Everyone in the gym is so lovely and this really gives the place a friendly feel. Highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to train that is modern, clean and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place, the gym is laid out really well with up to date machines always clean and well maintained. The guys there are so friendly and welcoming. I had a routine built for me with Harry who is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. If you're looking to start your fitness journey then this is the place to do it.

Fantastic experience: Before 180 fitness i had Always been intimidated by the idea of going to a gym but I plucked the courage up to sign up to this one after seeing it advertised on facebook. I am glad I did! they make everyone feel welcome and offer friendly advice on recommended training exercises. Also it is only a small business so it is never too busy and a gives much more personal touch. Also a great atmosphere

Fantastic experience: I love how quiet this gym is, as a beginner to fitness again I was anxious about starting up again, however I’ve been going almost 3 weeks now and there isn’t a day I don’t enjoy going, everyone I have come into contact with there have been helpful and welcoming. I have only just started at the gym a few weeks ago, I was so nervous about joining at first but from the minute i arrived they have always made me so welcome and comfortable! The staff put together a fitness plan for myself & friend to follow while we are there which was completely free. The monthly price is brilliant for 24 hour access. It is also so modern and spotless. Would definitely recommend!

Positive experience: I now have the confidence to walk into a gym by myself!!! Love the fact that I can walk in, I don’t feel like I’m being judged and I can do the exercises I want with no fear. The perfect little gym!!

Fantastic experience: There’s a lot you could say about this gym - apart from the fact it’s less than £1 a day, it’s clean, well kitted out and they try to cater for everyone in all the right ways, the main thing for me is that it’s completely different to most places! I don’t get the opportunity to use this gym regularly but as soon as I’m home it’s one of the first places I look forward to going. I’ve joined other gyms before but never felt truly comfortable but at 180 fitness it’s like training with friends. I would highly recommend it and you can pay monthly if you wish so what have you got to loose. On that note the prices are so reasonable as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been training people at Team 180 for some time now and I must say that one thing which is very hard to get right is the environment created in the gym, it is very relaxed and allows people to get in and get on with their workouts whilst having staff there who are more than happy to help and give advice as and where they can. The pods are also a great addition as they provide great versatile space to store equipment as well as train people out of them. The pods have lighting and air conditioning meaning they can utilised year round and are very secure so equipment is safe and protected well. The pods are also utilised by physiotherapists and can also be used by strength and conditioning coaches whether private or apart of a currently running team. Overall I think the pods are an exceptional addition to have as they provide a privatised area to train clients without invading regular gym users and provide the privacy that some clients prefer whilst having more than enough space for all the equipment you need for an affective workout.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful gym! Lots of great equipment, lovely staff and very clean. I have private PT sessions which are great, very motivating and getting good results. :) Changing and shower facilities are modern and clean. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Definitely the best gym in Retford to go to just to work out. No PTs running everywhere taking up equipment like at most gyms in the town, and has great machinery that's all pretty much brand new. Value for money is also second to none for the town and surrounding areas.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym in retford to get in, do what you want and get out. Love how I can replicate a Strava bike ride or Runkeeper tracked run on the machines and try and beat my times outside the gym.

Positive experience: great little gym, nice and quiet but with the latest machines, free wifi etc, loses a star for the awful mens changing rooms!
