Negative experience: A terrible gym, when you try canceling your membership they threaten you with emails for debt collection despite providing a reasonable explanation why i left as i got a job in a different city. Many of my friends had the same problem too. I do not like the way they treated me like this after being a member for 6 months.

Fantastic experience: A terrific gym, top quality equipment, rarely over-filled with people, no-nonsense and very friendly staff (especially the manager), clean changing rooms (rare to find in any gym but these changing rooms are always clean with no smell!), plenty of space for non-weight exercises, every gym has its share of tough-nut-wannabes but people at Tre are respectful and let you get on with your workout without making you feel intimidated, good selection of snacks/bars/shakes, right in the city centre, beautiful seaside view from the gym floor, self-scan barcode, male & female PT available, Spa, classes and much more. Been at Tre Fitness for a year now and it’s been fantastic!

Positive experience: Mid tier gym, ok equipment and decent floorspace. Annoyingly all the men's toilets were blocked while there. Didn't join due to this - disgusting condition. My friend also left a review saying similar but it was deleted.

Fantastic experience: Visited Folkestone for the weekend and trained twice in this gym and thoroughly enjoyed workouts. Very welcoming environment from staff and other gym users, great atmosphere, excellent equipment, clean, the list goes on.. Followed my workout with a sauna in the changing room which made me super relaxed after a hard cardio session, and a protein shake mixed with almond milk which you can enjoy on the comfy sofa at reception or the balcony with a sea view. I highly recommend joining!

I always enjoy attending Richies classes, he is a amazing trainer, enthusticastic, knowledgeable, motivational and has a great playlist. Fantastic experience: Over many years I have been to several gyms but this gym I particularly enjoy. A very relaxed atmosphere for all and a large selection of machines, some of them are the first time I have encountered them in a gym, and good free weights space. The last gym was ok but becoming way too busy and I was always feeling rushed to move to the next exercise. At Tre Fitness you can really plan your routine before you get there and train as fast or slow as you want. The facilities are first class, the sauna and sunbed are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Selfishly I hope the gym doesn't become too busy

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member here for now 5-6 months and I cannot recommend this place enough,I’ve been a member to over half of the other gyms in this area but never felt comfortable in any of them,they all seemed rather ‘clicky’ and tbh unwelcoming,but at Tre fitness it’s the total opposite,every member has been friendly,90% of them all say hi or give you the head nod greeting,the staff are brilliant,they are all more than happy to show you how to use any of the equipment if you ask them,or have a chat,or if you need someone to spot you.They have all the equipment you could ever need and have added even more pieces in the time I’ve been there. The changing rooms are spacious and have showers and saunas and the sauna is a game changer after a workout,until you use it you don’t actually realise how much it helps your muscles. If you want to goto a gym that will help you fulfill all your fitness goals then give them a call and go and have a look around,IMO this is the best gym in town.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere where staff are friendly and clientele have been respectful and courteous every time I have been in, I'm new after a 14 day trial, its going to take me a few weeks to get around all the aquipment! but so far I love it! I'm just out of rehab after an accident so back at the gym properly for the first time in over a year, its a perfect place to just go and do your thing and feel confident and comfortable

The gym has excellent equipment catering for all training styles and abilities.Extensive well equipped free weights/machine area, functional area,cardio equipment,studio. Other great points are sauna's in the changing rooms, sunbed,large selection of supplements and drinks.

Fantastic experience: I've just moved to Folkestone and am midst refurb chaos so imagine my delight when I discovered Tré Fitness - here was a place I could come for the energetic calm working out gives me (plus a spacious changing room and powerful shower) during my daily routine. I've been to many gyms, all over the world and Tré Fitness ticks all the boxes. I love the vibe, terrific customer service, cleanliness and that I can hang my TRX straps over a bar and work out without a problem. The kettlebells are easy to handle, the machines are in great condition and everyone is very friendly. It can be challenging creating such an environment in a gym but Tré Fitness have nailed it. I also love that the gym is independent and not part of a chain, although I'm sure they have plans to expand. If you're in Folkestone and you need a dedicated neighbourhood gym full of friendly, fitness-focused staff and customers with top-notch equipment then this is the place for you. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely G-Star gym!!! The team are warm, friendly and welcoming! Experts in their fields and always there to provide professional advise with a scientific but intuitive approach. The induction was brilliant on my first day. The gym itself has a huge range of equipment that's clean and working! Everything from cardio, weights, machines and much more! The team are on hand all day to assist if you need help or advise with the machines. Classes are awesome! Changing room is clean with a nice club vibe! Sauna is amazing and the showers are always clean and in working order. The price is exceptional and more than good value for money! What I value the most however, as well as the above, is the actual team themselves. High minds with big hearts, all of them. They definitely make the gym! I walk in feeling at times down in the dumps and come out feeling like a rock star!! :) Thank you Tre-Fitness!!!

Fantastic experience: I use this gym whenever I'm down in folkestone. It's a perfect location next to the sea. There's a massive selection of weights and machines, plenty of space to work out. This gym is always in pristine condition as well, very clean. I only wish it was closer to where I live in London!

Fantastic experience: A great gym that's friendly to travellers. I worked out for a few days here on day passes while I was in town for a conference. Most of the hotels in Folkestone don't have a gym, so I was happy to find this place. The gym staff and management were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They have a good range of modern cardio, strength, and core equipment, including some less common things most gyms don't have. The facility is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. They've got a good music playlist and the volume is at a low and reasonable level. This is definitely the best gym option in the area.

Fantastic experience: 25 West Terrace in Folkestone... the gym is now in safe and capable hands! The Tre Fitness team are truly devoted professionals who've transformed this place into a fun and wellness sanctuary. These guys really put our needs at heart, the place is bursting with Dopamine, positive challenges and respect. The hygiene practice is exceptional and witnessed daily.

Positive experience: Fantastic gym with great facilities. Only complaint is that the showers only have one temperature setting, that being scalding hot. On a warm day and particularly after a tough workout or use of the sauna it's vital to be able to have a cooler shower. Please please please switch out the shower button for one with temperature control.

Fantastic experience: This gym by far is the best… Now, having been in and out of gyms over the last 10 years I have experienced many different things.. I started at the sports centre which was nice and clean but very limited on equipment I then moved onto bannatynes which was great at first but after a while started to see a decline In service and atmosphere and the price was way to much for the service received I tried pure gym and they should probably advertise the brand as Pure Busy or perhaps Pure Lazy, you can never use the machines unless you like queuing and the staff are often vacant and non interested.. Now landed on Trè Fitness I find the staff very approachable, friendly and informative if I’m ever stuck or need help with form I only have to ask and they are there to help, the equipment is by far the most varied amount of all the gyms I have been to , offering a wide array of machines that new gym goers and the most experienced gym goers will benefit from .. and most of all after lockdown and the last two years this gym has helped give me the confidence and motivation to get back in shape.. and the members are most importantly always friendly and also helpful

From contactless entry to a warm welcome Tre Gym has smashed through the stereotypical gym and created a fitness community, it doesn't matter if your a body builder, cross-fitter, casual jogger or just want to stretch there's genuinely something for everyone there's so much equipment and free weights it's a being a kid in candy store everyday. The gym and changing area is always immaculately clean and smells fresh. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and happy to help. There's lots of fitness classes available which you can easily be booked on your tre gym app. There's even a sun bed and sauna come one now what more do you want from a gym?

Fantastic experience: Tre Fitness provides a friendly, welcoming and clean environment for all its members. Friendly and helpful staff - if you ever need anyone to give advise on technique, machine use or even just for someone to spot you they are there and happy to help. Huge range of equipment - machines, free weights, cardio and more. Spacious and clean changing facilities - lovely hot showers with good water pressure, a sauna, hairdryers and lockers. Products - I love to get a freshly made Optimum Nutrition protein shake (made with a choice of milk or almond milk) after a workout from the front desk, they have a range of flavours to choose from and you will always get friendly service from staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend Tre Fitness to anyone, with any level of fitness - staff also provide inductions with a tour of the facility to support you on your fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: I've been exercising for two months now and can tell that they got the nicest inspiring view AND best trap/dnb music. The smell is so nice in there. The staff is helpful when you join and you ask them about how to workout which is a biiiig plus in my opinion. Only professionals working in there and I love it. They take great care of the gym making sure everything is clean and working perfectly, and that's to consider. The showers are incredible. Fresh air all the time. If you wanna join a gym, i suggest checking this one first.

Fantastic experience: Having recently moved to Folkestone I was keen to get back into a gym routine. I started at Bannatynes which has a decent range of equipment but pricey and in a business park setting- a little sterile. I moved to Pure Gym which was much better than I imagined with decent equipment and cheaper but always so busy. Then I landed on Tre Fitness and I’m so glad I did. The reviews here are genuine. The range of equipment is better than any gym I’ve used over 25 years with next to nothing ever broken for long and there are multiple sets of most things so it’s unusual to have to wait for anything. The staff are forever cleaning the place and are very pleasant and engaging without being overbearing. It’s a large gym so lots of space which is good for social distancing. The location is spot on for me with a lovely walk/ run across the Leas as a warm up and views over the Channel from the back of the gym. The place really deserves to be much busier (not that I’m complaining) as £30 for what you get here is a bargain. It doesn’t have its own parking but it’s easy enough to park for free on the high street in the morning if you do need to travel by car. Well worth checking it out.

Fantastic experience: When I first joined in late 2018 it was called Tru Gym and I found it okay but only worth 3*. It was then revamped in 2019 and started to improve but only 3* trying to reach 4* as things were still a bit hit and miss. In 2020 Covid appeared and OMG what a disaster as the place closed down and for longer than most. Sadly the original owners went bust so many members ended up going to one of the bigger brand gyms further afield. I lasted a month there as I couldn’t deal with the clinical atmosphere and don’t mention the annoying tannoy announcement every five minutes telling members to wash their bloody hands…blah, blah, blah. So it was a breath fresh air to finally hear Tre’ Gym had opened and what an improvement. Things got even better as summer 2021 arrived and now we’re in the autumn, it’s the coolest Gym in Folkestone (my opinion anyway :-) Great selection of equipment and plenty of room to train with staff who have a sense of humour too. They’ve got lots of knowledge whether you’re a member wanting help to improve general fitness or seriously train for something bigger. Lots of good supplements and gym tucker for those wishing to make a real lifestyle change to improve their overall wellbeing. OMG….talk about clean and tidy…..how many bosses & staff do you see dancing around with the Dyson keen to banish every speak of dust? The training equipment is so regularly cleaned down it's almost sparkling. Seriously this Gym is the best and the protein shakes are fab too….there’s a competition amongst the staff who can whisk up the best cocktail and it’s a close call so no comments there. All in it’s a brilliant gym so I’m officially giving it 5* and will increase that to 5* plus if they can slightly increase the water temperature as I do like a warmer shower in the winter…..cheers Guys Hi Guys, Update - Dec 2021. Well the guys at Tre Fitness have done the business yet again. I hinted about the shower water temperature being a tad low but now that's been adjusted - WoW it's the perfect end to a great workout so what one can moan about now I'll never know. An absolutely fab gym experience and well worth the modest investment compared to some places that feel so boring, clinical and lacking in soul. Apart from all the normal goodies on offer, if you want a gym with plenty of great sounds you can't get better than Tre Fitness as the energy it's positively charged like the dynamic team helping all their customers towards the number gold in life. That being 'Your Health is your True Wealth'. Ps Heads up on their special Christmas 2021 offer: Free 3 day Guest Passes and valid until the end of January 2022 so get your arm chair mates along to detox after too much Christmas Turkey & minces pies....lol

Fantastic experience: The muscly man behind the counter was very helpful. I am overweight and not very confident about exercise. He has given me some very good pointers. I have already lost weight and feel much better about myself. The gym is extremely clean and has a brilliant atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Being relatively new to Folkestone, joining a gym was one of the first things I did. I am pleased to say I picked a good one, not just because it has a very large range of equipment (barbells, racks, dumbbells', functional fitness section, CV machines, bodybuilding machines and so on), but also because everyone is so friendly. It was through Tre Fitness that I made my first friends (classes are good for that, they also have Pilates, yoga, hitt, spin...). I highly recommend it.

The womens sauna is an absolute treat to use after work - I especially like the blue ambient lighting, very theraputic! An all round amazing gym with a rooftop sea view, helpful staff and a great variety of equipment. I really enjoy working out and taking my pilates classes here!
