Powerzone Strength Gym

Fantastic experience: I went to Powerzone earlier today, as i saw on their facebook that it was an old-school-type gym and decided that because i like that kind of thing that i would give it a try. The day pass (which costed me £6) was very affordable and the gym was completely empty which definitely made it a lot easier to focus in than a normal commercial gym. The atmosphere in the gym was great (decorations, etc) and the equipment was all very well maintained. (bonus points for the metal plates.) There was also plenty of mirrors and the lighting in the gym was able to be adjusted (via the light switches by the door), which made posing in the gym a lot easier. I spoke to who i presume was the owner over text and he was very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend this gym for both gym veterans and beginners. It was an awesome experience and when i come back to aberdeen I will be sure to revisit Powerzone.

Fantastic experience: Powerzone Strength Gym I joined Powerzone Strength Gym earlier this year after visiting a number of other gyms in the area. The gym has a wide range of machines, free weights, bags and equipment (battle ropes, tyres etc). The gym owner, Mike, offers free advice and help to any members, which for a beginner has been excellent. If you are looking to join a gym, I highly recommend Powerzone.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, always kept clean and tidy. Good range of weight machines, cardio machines and other equipment. Thr best part about Powerzone is the atmosphere and the advice. Mike offers training to anyone who wants it at no extra charge and has been able to adapt excercises to overcome a range of injuries. No judgement by any other gym users.
