Fantastic experience: Before I came here, the only gym I went to was Jim who worked at the counter in McDonald's. But now I'm in my Bella Hadid era, so if you see a speck of dust on the treadmill, don't fret it's just me.

Fantastic experience: I registered for the gym and spoke to Charlie and she was so beyond helpful. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and happy and even showed me some new exercises and spotted me and gave me so much encouragement. She is such a lovely kind hearted person and did her absolute best to make sure I was comfortable and supported. She is an asset to the gym and to the community!!

Fantastic experience: As a member since opening I immediately enjoyed the quantity and quality of equipment available. A place you can enter without feeling overwhelmed or out of place, with an immediate friendly community feel too it (check out their social media pages!). You can see whatever your goals or requirements are, this gym has the capacity and ability to help, either face-to-face or through their well populated app. Gutted to have to move branches due to changes in work and home location but if anything changes I'll be back to this one without a second thought!

Fantastic experience: Such a good gym, I started working out there and they made the scary new world of working out for a skinny nerd feel welcome and I don't think I'd still work out as much as I do if it wasn't for the staff and members motivating me, i couldn't recommend more

Fantastic experience: I have never been one for the gym, I took the plunge with energie fitness, i have to say it's been a brilliant choice. The staff are very friendly especially Robbie who has taken loads of time while working to show me machines, and correct techniques, I have no doubt Robbie has stopped me from getting injured. Pete’s PT sessions were brilliant, thorough and informative, including his classes, always a killer and he plays the best music LOL.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the opportunity to visit Energie Fitness on the recommendation of Leah, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped in, the facilities and the wide range of equipment available for use caught my attention. Not only is the gym equipped with everything one might need for a comprehensive workout, but the cleanliness and organisation of the space also stood out. The staff (Leah in particular) were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ready to assist or provide guidance whenever needed. What surprised me the most, however, as well as the free trial offered, was the cost - it offers great value for money, making access to premium fitness equipment and classes affordable. Overall, my experience at Energie Fitness Pontypridd was nothing short of exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their fitness.

Fantastic experience: 5 Star gym. Been a member for a few months thanks to Leah and it is by far the best gym around. All different types of top equipment with really fun classes help with the grind. Really friendly and approachable staff who are always supportive even after a rubbish day at work. Won’t be going anywhere else

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Energiè Ponty enough, it's the best gym around by far. It's not just about the equipment they have, the staff and what they stand for make it everything it is. You really are a part of the family as soon as you walk through the doors. All of the staff greet you with a warm smile and a welcoming hello. You instantly feel like you belong there. The personal trainers are always there with a helping hand and advice, the classes are varied and fun. Even when you're aching, you're smiling! Helyn inparticular is one of my favourite pt's. She's so supportive, so encouraging and always pushes you to do more. I recently fell unwell during training and the staff were incredible.They didn't leave my side and also supported my partner who was with me when it happened. Energiè gym truly is where you belong!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Energie for over a year now and I have never felt more comfortable and welcomed at any gym like this one. All the staff are so friendly, approachable and are always supporting you to achieve the best results. A special mention to Kaylee who was the first member of staff I had met at Energie, ever since she has helped me to come out of my shell and has encouraged me to use different equipment and attend the amazing classes. Kaylee is an all round credit to Energie! Energie Pontypridd is definitely the best gym around, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely welcome from staff and members when I visited recently! The gym is so well set up, and the circuit class instructor used a variety of equipment to make a creative and fun session. There was a good sporty atmosphere - people were there to work not pose. A great mix of people of all ages. The equipment was extensive and top quality. Boxing bags, ski erg, concept 2 rowers, loads of TRX, medicine balls, sandbags, - you name it. Fab shower facilities too. If I was local I'd have joined on the spot. Will definitely go again next time I'm in the area.

Fantastic experience: I have only been a member for a few days but I must say I am very impressed with the overall communication I have had with Energie. Staff seem very friendly and there is a good choice of classes to attend if that is what you are looking for! There is a good selection of equipment that is accesible for both beginners and more experienced gym-goers. The facilities are clean and hygienic and all the equipment is new. Opening hours are good in comparison to other gyms in the area. I'd like to show my gratitude to Rhys who was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions when I came for a look around the gym before joining.

Negative experience: £7 for a day pass - incredibly expensive for such a basic gym. They also took my name and number fo the "system" without telling me it was for marketing. Called me asking me when they can sign me on for a membership and when I said I wasn't interested they continued to email me after that.

Fantastic experience: Best Gym in town. Lots of equipment, good social distancing, very clean and tidy. Members respect each other and most put weights back where they belong. Lots of classes. Staff are all wonderful and friendly and very knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: The team at Pontypridd have had to overcome a lot of challenges over the last year. It's amazing how much resolve they have and how hard they're working. Special shout out to the owner, Jake. He's one of the friendliest guys I've met and is always helpful.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything you want and need. In a great location down the road from Gas road car park. This gym is the most spacious gym iv been too, it isn't small and cramped like a lot of others. It is so clean and new aswell unlike some gyms and the equipment is falling apart. There are 2 floors: - upstairs is where all the free weights are and there are loads of benches for exercises with dumbbells. There are also a lot of standing racks where you can either use for squatting or (with a bench) have another area to train chest with a flat bar. - downstairs is all the CV equipment and had a area with punch bags and heavy med balls. Iv never struggled to train what iv wanted to that day due to the amount of weights and machines available. And I couldn't believe the price, the monthly price here is literally half of what I was paying at a hotel spa gym and has twice as much equipment and space. Only regret I have is I didn't join on opening day because it's a class gym. Staff are great and the manager is really welcoming and an awesome guy that has put so much effort into this gym and it definitely shows.
