Fantastic experience: As MMA has evolved, in the early days the dominant martial art was BJJ. As time went on and the sport reached the heights that it has today, it’s clear that there is a martial art that stands out as the best base, in my opinion, for any aspiring martial artist that wants to learn a base that is worth learning, and this is Sambo. The proof is in the pudding. The fighters coming out of Chechnya and Dagestan have in recent years been extremely dominant against all other martial artists of different bases, and the common theme is Sambo. At CCC, you will have access to the best coaches that will allow you to develop your skills. Coach Rustam is a multiple time world champion in Sambo, so you are in the right place to learn what is in my opinion the best and most complete martial art on earth. And in addition, the rest of the coaches are also world class at what they do. They also offer boxing and Taekwando, so there is variety to add to one’s Arsenal if they so please. I am very glad to be a member of this gym, and am happy to be amongst great coaches and the friendly environment that exists amongst everyone there. Fantastic experience: THE best martial arts club in Birmingham and probably in the UK. You join the team , you join a family. Coaches have a wealth of real competition experience, so what you'll learn is REAL fighting. They truly care and will correct your technique promptly , not allowing you to pick up bad habits. Fellow students are amazing and there is a friendly but focused learning environment. Regardless of your age group or fitness level you will fit right in .

Fantastic experience: Sensei Sudoczki is a wolf/puma hybrid and is leaps ahead of his time. He innovatively adapts combat sambo techniques to my physical disability (Cerebral palsy). "But I'm not a fighter!". "-You will be", he smiles.

Fantastic experience: Excellent coach, comfortable environment for my boys. My 2 boys started year ago. They have gained a lot of confidence. My youngest who is 5 also joined few weeks ago. He's enjoying himself too.

Fantastic experience: I enrolled my first grandson nearly three years ago and since then his confidence has grown rapidly when it comes to self defence. Subsequently, I enrolled my second grandson who is seven and he loves the team spirit and discipline. They have become successful in national and international Sports Sambo & Combat Sambo competions. In my opinion this is a better system of self defence than MMA or BJJ as it uses all of those techniques and more besides. The head coach (Coach Rustam) is second to none and is expert in a number of other martial arts. The club has top facilities and a very friendly & clean environment...10/10

Fantastic experience: Lovely place and great coach who is so good with the kids. My son has been with this club for 9 months now and being trained by coach Rustum (9x Champion ). He has made great fast progress and even won a,championship fight , this proves that coach Rustum is the Best coach as my son has made incredible progress. I would recommend this to all, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Paul Timmins: I decided to bring my 9 year old Grandson to Sambo because it is a good all round fitness sport and efficient self defence system. Having trained for 5 months he won the Silver Medal in the British Championships after losing out to his team mate. The Head Coach Rustam Sudocczki is (9 times!) World Wrestling Champion and teaches students directly. Lessons are excellent value for money and I am in the process of enrolling my 5 year grandson. I would highly recommend joining the Club.

Fantastic experience: Training at Counter Combat Club is awesome. We train Sambo and Combat Sambo. If you have ever wanted to get the perfect mix of grappling/wrestling and striking, then you should definitely check out our club. We are fortunate to have an instructor who is a Grandmaster, a World Champion and European Champion, right here in Birmingham. I have been training with Coach Rustam for nearly two years and in that time I have been able to learn many great techniques. Coach takes the time to show you all the necessary details needed to get the technique correct. He is very patient and understanding when it comes to helping us learn. We have a great team at our club, with a great atmosphere, so there is always someone to help you out if you are unsure of anything. If you are looking to get fit and healthy then Counter Combat Club is a great way to achieve this. In our classes we strengthen the entire body. It is tough and intense, but you will feel great afterwards. There are exercises we do, that you will not see at other Gyms. If you are looking to compete, then our club regularly takes part in Competitions (Judo and Sambo). Sambo and Combat Sambo will give you a great foundation and base for those of you who want to go into MMA because as I said before, it has the perfect mix of grappling and striking. Coach Rustam puts his all into getting the team ready for competition, so he is very dedicated in that manner. Finally, to finish off, come and try out a class at Counter Combat Club.
