Fantastic experience: First time here with my wife who had a devastating stroke 3 years ago. First impressions - absolutely first rate. The staff are so friendly and very, reassuringly helpful and knowledgeable. Extremely thorough in their initial assessments. It has reinvigorated my wife to believing she can improve. The amount of equipment - some adapted for a range of disabilities - is amazing. Like everything we have encountered so far with Dudley NHS - Brilliant! You would never believe the NHS is in a crisis of staff shortages and money worries. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic experience: A great place to gain strength both emotionally & physically. The Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professionals. The exercises are personally prepared for your individual need and ability. You are assigned a Staff member who will carefully instruct you how to use each exercise apparatus. Each effort is assessed by yourself. The whole experience is like no other.. You will feel safe and Aware of your limitations, ability and eventual growth of your abilities. A great place to be.

Positive experience: Could be better find it frustrating when wanting to use equipment where people just sit there chatting for ages even when you ask if there going to be long some members just don't care just there are, there's plenty of benches they could sit on between exercise or for chatting on the plus side staff are great, will I be there in the new year a probably not such a shame.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym in the hospital grounds, if you have been referred by the hospital or GP to the action heart clinic for a course of exercise to aid cardiac rehabilitation. Once this is complete, you will be offered a chance to become a member of the health club side side for a monthly fee.

Positive experience: Nice, open space gym. Lots of equipment but lacks much of the weights and space for on the floor work. Friendly and knowledge staff. Not sure about parking as it in a hospital and I think you need a referral from a GP to go there.

Positive experience: Action heart centre is located in Russell's Hall hospital, it's mainly for people who have had certain operations, or certain disabilities !! After someone has had an operation, are referred to the Gym centre for rehabilitation, and help for mobility purposes etc etc. They have lots of different machines, for various purposes, all staff are there to help you use the equipment to help them to improve their certain disabilities. You can, like myself I have Rhumatoid Arthritis, so going to this Gym had helped me. Unless you've been advised by the hospital surgeon, or Staff ! and you think this Gym can help you, see your own doctor for advice. I can assure you you might benefit from it. D.P.Johnson.

Fantastic experience: Good gym and very good Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre. I was a cardiac patient and the centre gave me back my confidence after open heart surgery to repair a damaged valve. Helped my recovery and got me back to full health. Can't fault this centre or it's hard working staff.

Fantastic experience: 40 years almost I have been going there. I have been to other gyms as well. But I keep returning to Action Heart. They have the most experienced and dedicated staff of any gym. The only down side is the size of the changing room. We can also use the starbucks cafe there.
