Fantastic experience: Been working with Joe for the last 3 months. I had chronic neck pain and injuries for 15 months before meeting Joe which has put me out of the gym and inhibited my social life. Joes detailed gym plan has helped me reduce my neck pain so that I can gym on a weekly basis resulting in me getting back into shape. Very happy with the progress so far and looking forward to building in he foundations set. The rest of the lads are very welcoming and the gym is great.
Fantastic experience: I have been training at Scott's with Joe for a little over a year. I'm in my mid 40s and I was finding myself feeling unhealthy, what I can only describe as weak. In my initial consultation I remember being appalled to find out I was at something like 27% body fat. It shouldn't have been a surprise as I had been noticing that tops were getting tighter around belly. But seeing the numbers, seeing the graph, put what I was feeling into something the analytical side of me could properly comprehend. And I knew I needed to make a fundamental change. Since working with Joe the way I feel has changed in ways I could not have imagined. in the past year I have lost around 10cm off my waist line, lost weight and, more importantly, significantly dropped body fat. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Joe at Scott’s Gym since Jan 2023 and have been delighted by my results and thoroughly enjoyed the process. The gym is a very welcoming place with a real community feel. I have trained with Joe throughout and thoroughly recommend and value his knowledge and expertise. Joe is a very knowledgeable trainer focussing on my nutrition and goals with his expertise and passion for results. The sessions are really enjoyable - Joe constantly challenges me ; changing the programmme to ensure I progress at all times but in a way that is encouraging and highly supportive. As a working mum I have struggled in the past to always commit to a programme but Joe has been very flexible enabling me to stick to training every week. As a consequence I have exceeded my expectations and managed to change my body composition; building lean mass and losing body fat. This has been a goal for many years but I have only been able to achieve this with the coaching Joe has provided and the philosophy that Scott encourages.
Fantastic experience: My wife started training with Jake and I have ended up doing the same which is a great compliment in itself to his service. Having wanted to be physically ready and conditioned for skiing that was coming up, I was slightly skeptical about the whole thing at first. With Jake's program and explanations that changed very quickly. After ski trip, I have stayed on with Jake as he won my trust. We are now focusing on fat loss which I look forward to working towards!

Fantastic experience: Having osteoporosis I wanted to work with a coach who understood my situation. I have always been very fearful of fracturing and wanting to build my confidence up, Jake has done exactly that. His outlook not just training but on life has really helped me. My strength levels have improved massively on all my exercises in which my fear of fracturing doesn’t affect me as much anymore. . I always look forward to training with Jake and cannot recommend him as a trainer and also as a person enough♀️

Fantastic experience: I started training with Joe in Aug 2023, about a year after I became a new mum. I wanted a PT to support and give me guidance on getting stronger, and eating better so I could be as healthy as possible (even with the time/energy challenges of being a new parent). Working with Joe 2x a week since then has given me that, plus a whole lot more! I’ve lost nearly 10kg in that time - which having been on many diets in the past is a big achievement. I understand the importance of what I’m eating and how that will contribute to weight loss and building muscle, but also how to manage having treats too. I’ve had dedicated strengthening on my ankle after I fractured it and a shoulder injury, none of which I was expecting as part of this training. Working with Joe has been great. He is extremely knowledgeable about how the body works, and can explain in incredible detail how a particular exercise will help and the muscles it will work. What I’ve enjoyed the most about working with Joe is that he’s extremely personable, he is pragmatic in his approach, and has helped me set smaller achievable goals that aren’t overwhelming. Joe sets a very high standard and I’m glad that I get the opportunity to train with him!
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Joe for a few months now and I am delighted with the results and the experience. Joe is technically very knowledgeable but makes nutrition and training very accessable and gets the right balance between pushing me to get the results I am looking for and making it fun. Progress is meticulously tracked and safety and injury prevention is always put first. I have trained with many PT’s over the years and I have to Joe is the best and Scott’s is exactly what I was looking for. No nonsense fluffy towels and a fun and encouraging environment!
Fantastic experience: I started with Scott's 9 months ago as part of the SGPT program. I have found the team to be friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. You get full support with a structured session plan every session, guidance on nutrition and monitoring of your weight and measurements as well as a WhatsApp group with challenges to keep you motivated and part of a community. I instantly felt very comfortable at Scott's which is something I haven't felt before at the gym. I have made great progress and with the coaches help I have been lifting far beyond what I ever expected. When I started my journey it was with fat loss as my goal, now, my focus is to keep getting stronger and improving. If you are looking for a complete program that is supportive, this is the place for you. I would highly recommend Scott's.
Fantastic experience: My 16 year old son was initially gifted 3 sessions here by a family member. His dad and I were a bit sceptical and concerned that it would fuel his growing preoccupation with muscle growth and weight lifting in a negative way. We had nothing to worry about at all. His trainer Jordan was nothing short of amazing with our son who now, after 8 sessions in total, has a far more measured and sensible approach to working out and eating healthily, and is gaining muscle in a safe and steady way.( He now is no longer going to the gym and is back to lifting his weights at home but he is lifting them in a totally new way to avoid injury .) Jordan took great care to communicate with myself too and listen to my concerns, and he is clearly exceptionally knowledgeable not only about training safely but also how to do it in such a way that it negates the risks of body dysmorphia, gym obsession etc. Jordan works with the physical and psychological side of training whilst also building up a really great relationship with his clients too... and he really seems to get teenage boys which helps hugely too! My son's newfound healthy approach to training has even rubbed off on me - I am now lifting weights at home and eating more protein ( as a menopausal 53 year old, this is just brilliant!!). Jordan is exceptional and we highly recommend this gym to any parent of teenage kids who wish to ensure that their child's attitude towards the gym does not move towards an unhealthy zone. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Scott's Personal Training! Before joining them back in January 2024, I had shoulders and lower back issues resulting from years of desk jobs and playing tennis. I tried to work out alone in the gym, but it didn't seem to make much progress, as I was missing the advice to correct my posture and ensure my movements were adequate. This even resulted in more injuries or missed gym sessions for fear of further pain. Since January, I've been attending the small group sessions twice weekly, and I couldn't be happier! The sessions with Tavis and Neil are not just good fun but also educational on weight lifting, as they always show me the right way to perform an exercise, encourage me to increase weights sensibly, and respond to all my queries. And despite the short time I've been working out at Scott's, my shoulder and back pain has significantly reduced, and I feel stronger - and the best testament to this is that I've been hitting more aces on the tennis court, as my serve is getting more powerful :-) Finally, the nutritional support Joe has been providing me is really helpful. We have weekly touch points, during which he comments on where my nutrition is going well and gives me tips on what can be changed.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at Scott’s with Jake as my personal trainer since October 2023. It started with a really useful initial consultation with Joe and then with Jake, including a detailed discussion on the importance of proper diet and on tracking daily calories and macros. Jake is an excellent trainer, with his guidance and support I lost 5.85 kg of weight and 4.8 kg of body fat and really improved my lean mass. I feel much more healthy and strong and also happy when I look in the mirror. The team here is really welcoming, passionate and motivating. This is the place for you if you are serious about taking your fitness to the next level. I highly recommended Scott's Gym and my personal trainer Jake.
Fantastic experience: I've been going to Scott's now for just over a year, and I was a complete gym novice! I've grown to love and look forwards to my twice weekly private sessions, with Jake one of Scott's trainers. It's a friendly place, with people also greeting you. It's also quite focussed with trainers helping their clients work towards AND achieve their goals. The gym is also becoming more a community with a growing active WhatsApp group with periids focussing on food or other aspects of nutrition related to fitness and health

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Scott’s since August 2023. I had a really useful initial consultation with Scott then have been seeing Patrick twice a week. It’s a great gym, well equipped and a really friendly / non-judgemental feel. Patrick is a brilliant trainer and coach - he’s guided me through fitness and diet, whilst working carefully around a knee injury i picked up before i started. Patrick has a laid back yet challenging approach, centred on a great technical knowledge of fitness and physiology. I’ve really enjoyed all of the sessions, felt stretched but also had fun, and that’s kept me coming back. I’ve lost 12kg (over 10% of weight), almost all fat loss and i’ve also really improved my lean/muscle mass. I feel stronger, healthier, and and am much happier when i look in the mirror. Pumped about what i can achieve in 2024!
Fantastic experience: This is a highly efficient, friendly team and you don’t ONLY get the gym sessions for your money, you also get a meticulously planned diet. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Joe at Scott's Personal Training for the last six months or so. This has been great, I went to see Scott as I wanted to get back to some of the healthier habits I had when I was a student, feel better and do some strength and conditioning work which I had done before, while I was being coached at University, but had not had the confidence to do unsupervised. The team have been amazingly welcoming, friendly and supportive turning what could be an intimidating environment into a very nice one. Joe has been really supportive, keeping me on track, coaching me with my technique and flexible when I need to juggle my schedule. He is keen to build a programme that works for me and I enjoy and is always keen to highlight my progress to keep me motivated. Overall after six months I feel better, I have built some habits and now I am just keen to keep up the good work A massive thanks to Scott and Joe for the help over the last six months.
Fantastic experience: I began my new venture into personal training, three months ago at Scotts Personal Training . After a very informative and insightful consultation with Scott himself - a super motivational and inspiring knowledge in this field, Scott quickly recognised my development goals and matched me with one of his very talented and dedicated personal training coaches - Jake. Jake made me very comfortable from the get go (I had never stepped in a gym before - I have found him to be Uber professional and extremely knowledgeable in this field as he coaches me through a well tailored personal training and nutritional programme 3 x per week - no session has ever been the same and the time planning for each hours session is impeccable. This was a new world for me and it was a big step for me to take but I’m so glad I took it and I couldn’t think of anyone better to have taken it with. Jake has opened my eyes up to understanding my potential more than I ever thought, and as a diabetic, he’s been extremely knowledgeable on how I marry my nutrition to the training programs he has built for me - which requires a good knowledge of how type one diabetes behaves. Fantastic experience: After a long break I was very anxious to return but I've been training with Joe for a couple of months and he takes every little detail into consideration when planning my workout. During our initial session once we had a chat I realised I am in really good hands as he is (so!) passionate, knowledgable and truly tries to bring the best out of you. He is very attentive and helpful with everything we come across from nutrition, mental health to just having a bad day - the support and understanding is there, no matter what. Joe has been really patient and he always takes the time to explain everything during workout and answer (sometimes silly) questions to ensure I understand why I am doing a certain exercise and how it will benefit me. All my aches and pains are gone and I feel great thanks to Joe's care and very tailored sessions. I never thought I will like to go to gym but he makes it fun and pushes my limits so gently that I didn't even realise how much we progressed in such a short time and I really enjoy my sessions. He is changing my mindset in many ways and I am really thankful for everything he has done so far. Scott and the whole team is professional, lovely and approachable; the atmosphere is always calm and positive in the gym. I can only recommend the whole experience at Scott's to anyone but especially if ... - you want a super tailored/targeted plan - in need of some encouragement and/or guidance - the general gym environment is making you feel uncomfortable or overwhelming for any reason.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at Scott’s with Jordan as personal trainer since early 2023 and it’s been an incredible experience. I’d never had any substantial experience with exercising before joining and this was the ideal set up to take this first step, gain confidence and continue making progress in a safe and enjoyable manner. From the intake on it’s clear this is a highly professional environment, with great attention to detail to nutritional planning, body measurement tracking and tailored training plans. Training with Jordan has been fantastic, especially in the early days he helped me gaining confidence and getting to grips with the basics, and his programming has helped me making steady progress which has continued to date. He is deeply knowledgeable about the physiological aspects of training and shares this in a fun and accessible way. I can’t recommend Scott’s personal training and Jordan enough!
Fantastic experience: I trained with Jordean Edwars at Scott's gym for 7 months and have seen a huge improvement in my strength and recovery of an knee injury. I recommend them to anyone who wants to recover their injuries through strength training with this facility as each one of the personal trainers are very professional, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. They have all studied their topic intensely for many years to be at the level they are now. (Degrees and everything!) Now only after 7 months I feel a lot safer to continue to be doing my labour intensive job without worrying about my knee! I now know how to take care of it and maintain the level of fitness required to keep it healthy. Going to their gym has taught me a lot about the link between nutrition and fitness. It has also given me a new level of confidence I lost when I first injured my knee. Highly recommended Scott's Gym and my personal trainer Jordan Edwards. :)
Fantastic experience: I joined Scott’s in November 2022 and absolutely have no regrets. I love going to his gym! When I had my introductory meeting with Scott I was sceptical as I tried a few gyms and programs by that time. BUT Scott won me over almost immediately with his attention to detail and his nutrition plan of real food and a focus on macros. The nutritional support is wonderful! The personal training is amazing! I’ve trained with Joe Spikings for most of my time at the gym and I cannot stress how positive the experience has been. When I started with Joe I had back pain which limited what I was doing but through a focused approach and education he helped me successfully move to full weight training program balanced with stretching techniques. My form, technique and knowledge of my strength training have all improved since training with Joe, and this carries through to my day to day life. I have gained more muscle than I thought I could at my 50+ years. I’m more confident and simply happier. All of this has been achieved in the midst of three surgeries. I have been able to train with Joe during my post-op recovery time by balancing weight training and stretching; his support and encouragement during this period alone has been invaluable to me. Through the support of Joe and Scott I have achieved and learned more than I imagined…and I’m only getting started!
Fantastic experience: I've been training with Jordan for just over 3 months now and the difference in the way I feel, both physically and mentally, is huge. Initially I wanted to do strength training to feel fitter and stronger, I've been doing pilates for years and wanted something more challenging as working from home has really decreased my activity levels. I wasn't too fussed about losing weight, however the nutritional advice and plan I was given in Scott's consultation has really made a difference, and I understand now just how important it is to eat the right ratio of foods, and up my protein intake. I have followed the plan, and I've lost 6kg and am now in the ideal range for body fat, as a 54 yr old post-menopausal woman I didn't think I could lose that weight, but I have changed my body composition, and that is the thing I'm most pleased with. I've had so many people notice the change, and comment on my skin and how healthy I look. Jordan has been brilliant with nutritional help, especially when I first started, his messages of encouragement and reminding me to keep tracking my food, kept me motivated. I was quite scared of lifting any weights when I first started as I had a back operation 10 years ago, but Jordan was understanding and we increased the weights slowly. So now I am lifting 50kg on the trap bar and 48kg on Romanian dead lifts...never ever thought I would be doing that!! I come out of my session feeling so good; energised, motivated and focused for the day ahead. It has really helped me deal with very stressful long days at work, and has lowered my resting heart rate over the time I've been going from 74/75bpm to 66/67bpm. Jordan is a fantastic PT, professional, friendly, and is really invested in his client's goals and actively works with them to achieve them. Now I've reached my goal weight, I want to maintain it and start to build on body composition changes, which I'm confident I can do :-))
Fantastic experience: Scott’s PT do things differently - they focus on nutrition as much as exercises. They keep themselves and you accountable by giving a nutrition plan, doing body measurement weekly to show your progress and reviewing what should be done differently if goals are not achieved. The focus is on holy grail of functional training with lot of care and attention to ensuring correct form and technique is maintained while progressing in strength and goals. I have been training for more than 6 months with Patrick Close and he has taught me many things about strength training - how to progress and always ensuring to not aggravate any injuries I had. He has helped me strengthen my back and also avoid triggering my sciatica by sharing some tricks and tips. Patrick is one of a kind! Go ahead and join this for hitting your goals and learning a lot about nutrition and functional training along the way!
Fantastic experience: Great gym. I started training here a couple of weeks ago for strength and weight loss. I had been stuck with weight loss for almost a year, but the sessions with Jake helped me get over the deadlock. Jake always explains everything and keeps helping me. I already see some results. Negative experience: AVOID. Scott has no idea what he’s doing, had a session with him & had to correct him on a number of things. I saw him training a client before me & he was encouraging bad form -poor lady will get injured.
This person has never been to my gym and I’ve certainly never trained them. I haven’t personally taken on a new client for 5 years. All of my clients have been training with me for over 5 years and most over 10 years and some over 15 years. This is the second time this person has written a fake review. Apart from these 2 fake reviews all of our reviews are 5* and tell incredible story’s of people improving their health and positivity changing their lives. Both of these fake reviews are being dealt with by google.
Fantastic experience: I have been training at Scott’s gym for over a year now. I always knew it would be professional and welcoming however I did not know how much it would end up helping me. I started training with a serious back injury, my trainer Patrick helped me rehab that first and now it is resolved, I am making weekly strength progress. This experience has given me the confidence to go to the gym by myself and know that I am training effectively. I will always be grateful for this gym and all the staff who have been very kind.
Fantastic experience: Have been training here since last November. Very comprehensive first consultation to set up goals and diet with clear explanation of the main factors and the scientific evidence supporting this approach. Training with Jake has been excellent, always assessing technique and movement patterns, and have been able to work around and improve pre existing hip, knee and shoulder issues. Atmosphere in the gym is welcoming and focused, and has made normal public gyms seem extremely depressing by comparison. Would recommend checking it out.
Fantastic experience: Amazing team and an Amazing place!!! My initial consultation was with Scott , and the training plans Scott mentioned are second to none and clearly tailored to suit each individual clients requirements. My personal trainer is Joe , and the thing that sets Joe apart is the level of communication and support he gives you He challenges, motivates and creates workouts that meet all fitness levels. Each session is fun, effective and never the same. Yes I definitely would recommend, Joe is very personable and has shown deep knowledge of nutritional information and anatomy. I was given perfect exercise and nutrition plan! weekly feedback is great - keeps you going! Six weeks so far and I can feel the difference already: better muscle definition and strength .

Why would you write something like this to be very malicious? I don’t know you, you have never been to my gym. Very sad that this is what you do with your time. Fantastic experience: Scott’s Personal Training has already been life changing for me. I’d been struggling with my recovery from cancer. The nutritional advice, the accountability and two sessions a week are working for me. After just five weeks I’ve lost weight and it has given me back my energy and made me start to feel strong again. Joe, my coach is a gift from the gods. A PT who really knows his stuff, is caring, knowledgeable and doesn’t let me off the hook too easily. He always goes the extra mile researching new exercises for my specific needs. Highly recommended if you are looking to get your life back on track.

Fantastic experience: Scott and the team, Lewis and Jake, have been wonderful. Since joining, 7 months ago, my knee pain has gotten so much better, is no longer locking, my meals are more nutritious, which then helped with Hashimotos, and I am more disciplined about it. My current trainer, Jake, is lovely to work with, too. Easy to communicate with, the sessions are always great and well thought through, always cheering for me to do better, so very disciplined and I do appreciate the extra time he gives as it shows his dedication and involvement. My posture and execution have improved a lot, I feel stronger physically and mentally, I lift heavier, super happy with my deadlifts and squats and looking forward to more. Fantastic experience: Really enjoying the personal training at Scott's. I signed up as, due to a knee injury, I was feeling overweight, unfit and also knowing that I had lost muscle tone. In the space of just a few sessions I started feeling stronger and better about myself. Jake is fantastic. He really thinks about what you need to get great results. He has provided targeted exercises to help build my core strength and specifically develop my quads and glutes. As a result he has pretty much eliminated my knee pain. In addition, I'm losing fat, building muscle mass and my clothes are fitting me much better now too. I'm now fully invested in more sessions to continue my journey. My final comment. Scott's is a small gym with the right quality equipment to make a real difference. There is no posing, no egos, just people who want to help you make a different to how you feel and look.
Fantastic experience: I have just started and my first session with Scott was educational which was GREAT. I was assigned to Jake and despite being nervous in the first session I have enjoyed and especially his explanations and tying things together, and his patience. I have high hopes and I'm looking forwards to more! UPDATE: Several months in, and I am still enjoying my twice weekly visits to Scott's! I've found the whole experience to be very much what I was looking for in terms of individual attention focussed on my needs, and of course my trainer is the expert, if I do what I am asked to, I can only benefit. There has also been some mental benefit as one starts to feel better about one's self physically! Could not be happier! You should try it out - Scott's!
Fantastic experience: You get bags of passion and experience from the whole team at Scott's. I decided to start some sessions after experiencing years of persistent lower back pain that is particularly bad after running or cycling. After a detailed induction with Scott, I could have looked at weight loss, building muscle or any number of goals, but we focused on rebuilding some structural integrity. This is the baseline to any work at Scott's. With a duathlon and half marathon planned in the future, my goal was to get through both of them pain free (not beat my PBs). Heloise, my coach, is an experienced triathlete herself and has worked with elite athletes too. Her attention to detail, from simple calf strengthening and mobility drills (something I'd never paid any attention to) through to stretching routines and a myriad of other exercises in-between paid dividends, and I can happily say I completed both events without any pain for the first time in years. A happy side effect was an increase in muscle mass and a decrease in body fat as well. This was also helped by the detailed nutritional advice on offer, it really does make a massive difference, even with some small tweaks to what you'd normally eat. Sessions are always challenging and fun. Heloise has the ability to push you beyond what you think is possible. I surprised myself by squatting and deadlifting heavier weights than I had for a long time. There are no easy reps, but good form is top priority! I have no doubt that Scott, Heloise and the team could help you to achieve virtually any fitness goal you have and they come highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Coach Heloise for a few months now, and I could not be more thrilled about my experience thus far. Heloise is incredibly professional with in-depth knowledge and education to support her training structure. I’ve learned so much from her to help me define and refine my goals and progress for both in and outside of the gym. She has great energy, a positive attitude and makes the hour session so enjoyable. The facility itself is wonderful; an intimate space which is never crowded and provides all of the great equipment to support your training progression! Fantastic experience: I have been training at Scott’s Personal Training Gym for 7 months now and would highly recommend him and his expert team of personal trainers if you are looking for long term results that stick with you! I have been training with Patrick, a highly professional, result focused and motivating PT who I am super pleased with. I was keen to improve my strength and fitness level, loose a few kilos and inches around my waist. I have made massive progress losing 3 inches off my waist, getting more toned and fit and lifting 45kg deadlifts versus 21kg when I started. Now close to lifting my body weight! Patrick has helped me lower my body fat in a sustainable way that I know will lead to long-term gains and healthier habits for life. Patrick is incredibly passionate about what he does and takes a lot of initiative to help me stay on track and reach my fitness goals, regularly following up with me in between trainings and meticulously tracking and updating exercise programs as i have progressed, so i don’t stagnate. Fantastic experience: I've really enjoyed working with Jordan, Lewis and Alex for the last couple of years, they've all been fantastic. I'm feeling the strongest and fittest I've been in my life, my posture is better and I feel generally more energetic. Nutrition wise I'm admittedly not being as disciplined as I could be but my relationship with food has certainly changed, I'm eating a lot more protein, oaty breakfasts, appreciating food's role as fuel.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Scott and his team for 9 months and came to them having never undertaken a combined nutrition and strength programme before. The joint and complimentary nutrition and strength programmes have been fantastic in establishing and guiding my long term health goals and results. From Scott’s personalised approach and clearly detailed knowledge of nutrition and strength training to the detailed and evolving training programmes managed by the PT team I’ve seen continuous improvement, dropping 10% body fat and increasing muscle mass, evidenced by regular but simple measurements. My trainers (initially John and currently Patrick) are enthusiastic and professional and make the sessions really enjoyable, constantly adapting the type and extent of my training to ensure continuous improvement in a safe and incremental way. Most importantly, the ongoing and carefully balanced programmes have resulted my pre existing neck and back pain and restrictions from disc degeneration in my cervical, thoracic and lumber areas completely disappearing. On top of the physical benefits this has resulted a massive positive impact on my mental health as I’m no longer living with the pain I’ve had for over 10 years. Scott runs a great operation, the gym is never too busy and all the trainers are excellent - delivering excellent results and I can’t recommend Scott and the team highly enough!
Fantastic experience: After an initial assessment with Scott, I have been working closely with Heloise, personal trainer extraordinaire for the last few weeks. She is patient, firm and knowledgeable! Pushes you to be and do your best. She guides you through different exercises designed to make your body stronger. I can certainly feel and see the difference after 11 sessions. Fantastic experience: I've been training at Scott's gym for around a year now and couldn't be happier with how it's gone. I've got stronger, reduced my body fat percentage and built muscle. I put all this down to not just the meticulously planned sessions from my excellent coach Patrick, but also the help I've received improving my nutrition. This was something I always felt I wasn't getting quite right but from the first consultation with Scott it was clear that he and his team take this just as seriously as the weight training. They make sure you are properly fuelled for the work that needs to be done, regularly monitor the progress and do all they can to encourage you along the way. Having never weight trained before, Lewis designed a program for me which is tailored to my goals and includes weekly check ins on my progress, making sure I am confident In not just my training plan but my nutrition too. Fantastic experience: Over the past few years I’ve struggled to maintain and stick to any workout regime for over a month. After working with Lewis, I’m back to exercising most days of the week - I’m swimming a mile comfortably, running 5k in under 30 mins and lifting the heaviest weights of my life! This was exactly the push I needed to instil some good habits. Not only has my physical health improved, but my mental health has too. I’m more patient, positive and less stressed. On top of such positive behavioural changes are the physical changes. I can see that I’ve lost fat and built muscle. Although I have some progress to make, I feel much more confident in my body. Lewis took time to explain the movements to me and think of solutions when I was struggling with particular moves. I now feel confident to do many movements independently and look forward to continuing to make progress. Lewis was completely invested in my progress and went the extra mile by providing me with personalised workouts to keep me on track when I was on holiday.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Alex at Scott’s personal training gym for over 6 months and I highly recommend. Alex has worked with me on identifying my goals, where the challenges lie and how to overcome them. My strength, fitness and motivation has improved massively since working with Alex. The gym allows for a very 1:1 personal experience and all the trainers are friendly and create a nice community feel.
Fantastic experience: Every session at Scott’s gym was intense, demanding, and fun. In my first consultation session with Scott, I remember saying that my goal was to be leaner in 7 months. He provided me with an amazing nutrition plan and I followed it for some time. However, once I began training with Alex, I realized that I wanted to be stronger instead. My nutrition plan changed and I started to eat 5 meals “2200 calories” per day. I was 71 kg when I first started training with Alex in September. Every session with Alex was tough. He’s an amazing trainer and friend. It’s clear that his passion is weight lifting and shoes! With his intense sessions I achieved my goals as I’m able to lift 100 kg squats, 84 kg bench press, etc. I’m currently 78 kg and am I’m proud to be stronger. My success couldn’t have happened without Alex’s help! Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Scott’s gym and I highly recommend others to join. It’s all about dedication, mindset and a bit of fun too!

Fantastic experience: I first met Scott over 14 years ago at a gym he worked in. I signed up for PT training thinking i was relatively fit and healthy and would only need a few sessions. I soon realised I had a way to go to achieve my goals and Scott was the one who would get me there. With careful food planning and a regular training schedule I was on my way! Training became fun and something to look forward to even Leg days! Scott is the definitive PT and on top of that, he is a fantastic person. Not only is he your trainer but will be your friend as well. So much so that he was even at my wedding! If you're looking for a PT don't hesitate!

Fantastic experience: Transformed the way I looked at working out and diet in a very short space of time. Very well equipped gym with friendly and dedicated PTs. I was trained by Patrick for 10 sessions and was able to increase my bench press to 116kg from 90kg whilst training me to do squat and deadlift safely for practically the first time. He cared about my progress from start to finish and nearly enjoyed every gain as much as I did. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: A friend recommended Scott's PT to help me get back on track. The great thing about the whole experience, it wasn't solely focused on working out. Scott, at the start, places a strong emphasis on your nutrition, resulting in a nutrition plan tailored to your goals. I was coached one-on-one by Patrick, and he was excellent throughout, constantly positive and encouraging. Patrick's attention to detail was something else, and he went out of his way to make sure I was keeping on track. Within a short period, Patrick helped me lose 5.5kg of fat and gain 2kg of muscle while cutting the waistline by 2 inches. All in all, great and professional guys who care about what they do.
Fantastic experience: I started training with Patrick in Jan21 - I’d been pretty down and demotivated after an injury that had kept out of training for months - Patrick was excellent at keeping me on track and was so knowledgeable about how to prevent further injury whilst still increasing my strength! I lost 6cm from my waist in 4 months and reached an 80kg squat!!! His coaching style is highly motivational and fun, but above all he has a great talent for helping people push past any self-imposed limits to achieve their fullest potential! His training style is also personally tailored to each individual – taking a holistic approach to health, overall wellbeing and fitness - whilst balancing it against individual circumstances and goals. I’ve personally managed to achieve a significant body re-composition during the short time I’ve been training with Scott (gaining 9.7kg of lean mass whilst losing 8.4kg of fat), and have also benefitted from a valuable education on the importance of diet (and forming positive habits) that will serve me for life. Fantastic experience: Had an excellent series of sessions with Patrick, whol helped me with a great combination of self workouts and technique based PT sessions. I was able to build good lifting techniques, and a lot strength in a relatively short period of time, and Patrick's enthusiasm and passion was obvious throughout. Scott also provided excellent nutrition guidance at the start to support those training goals. The gym itself is really well equipped and there was never more than two people in there when I trained which is a much better experience than PT in a normal gym.

Fantastic experience: Scott has certainly helped me with both my knee injuries, and arm after having two operations to have plates added. My strength and mobility has improved immensely along with my physical fitness. Scott finds the right balance by designing the right fitness programme and nutritional diet for your specific needs and goals.
Fantastic experience: Scotts PT has help me to achieve my personal goals. I worked with Alex over the past year and I have been able to develop more strength and correcting my posture, all that while shaving next to 20 kg. Alex has been a huge help on both the nutrition side where he gave me tips to eat better on the long run while not feeling it is a diet and the training side.
Fantastic experience: I have been training at Scott’s gym for 6 months now. Prior to this I have used various gyms and trainers to support my main sport of long distance running, but due to an injury in 2018 I spent most of 2019 doing little strength work and then the first lockdown stopped my recovery by closing the gym I was at. I contacted Scott in August for a consultation. He made a detailed assessment of my physical health, identified my goals, provided comprehensive advice on nutrition, and developed a detailed weights-based plan to increase my strength and lean muscle mass, and reduce my fat content. I was assigned to Patrick Close as my personal coach and we have worked together to increase my strength targeted towards running marathons. Patrick has expert knowledge backed by a university sports degree. He has an easy going manner and makes sure that I understand each exercise and perform them using correct technique. Over the last 6 months my weight has reduced by 5 kg and lean muscle mass has increased. I have run 3 marathons in the last 6 months and close the year having run over 2,000 miles in 2020, remaining injury free. I feel the expert tuition from both Scott and Patrick leave me in a great position for another year running in 2021.
Fantastic experience: I trained with Scott over 8 years ago and have always remembered and followed everything he has taught me. Scott takes a lot of time at consultation to set your goals and impart his knowledge about nutrition and put a great plan into place. Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Scott for 11 months now and initially started seeing him to get into shape for my wedding. I’ve never really been that into exercising, but Scott made it all feel easy and also enjoyable. Fantastic experience: Scott's PT is an amazing place to go to in order to get fitter and meet new people. I have trained with Scott for a few years and he has been great every step of the way. I began training here at 16 years old and have progressed quickly under the supervision of Scott who is a trained professional and knows the importance of nutrition and fitness. He will always make sure on having the right techniques before moving onto harder weights. He also teaches Muay Thai for those who are interested in trying something new! I am very grateful to him and his great staff for providing an excellent and friendly place to train, conveniently located in Kew. Scott has always been professional whilst keeping the fitness enjoyable. He is always keen to help you develop your fitness levels and keeps a very good log of performance to assess fitness improvements. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a great place to train, with a team of great trainers and top notch facilities.
Fantastic experience: I've been training with Scott for about 5 months and the results have been brilliant. I've lost 15kg which I'm beyond thrilled with, but more importantly, I'm so much healthier and really enjoy my sessions. His nutrition advice is really sound - no quick fixes, no weird and whacky diets just very a sensible plan which works! Looking forward to seeing how much more I can achieve.
