Fantastic experience: I used this gym for a brief time while in Havant on a work course. Reece/Rhys gave me the guided tour, explained how it all works etc, friendly guy and accommodating. Gym has everything you’ll need including set run classes which I didn’t do but wish I did now. It’s clean and set out well . Enjoyed my time there.

Fantastic experience: I'm sorry to brag, but this is the best place around. Extremely friendly by outstanding staff but also members are friendly too. The staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and nothing, and I do mean nothing, is too much trouble, doesn't matter how busy they are, we as members come first. The equipment is well maintained with lots of choice of things to use. Everything is kept spotless, it's kept cleaner than a hospital. Members are also very considerate of others, which makes for an epic atmosphere and a sense of belonging. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, great facilities and equipment. Go with my Dad about 3 times a week weight training. Helps me with my Uniform Services training at college and he is in his fifties and has found a new passion to get as fit as he can. Good mix of age groups and fitness levels so everybody feels at ease very friendly environment. Staff are superb really helpful and passionate about fitness and helping members achieve their best. All in all great gym will be regulars for a long time to come, highly recommend.

My partner has been training with Charlotte Long there for a couple of years now (I've been a long for a few sessions). Charlotte is an excellent PT who is incredibly dedicated to helping all her clients achieve their goals and is a fantastic supporter of them in their fitness journeys.

Her unwavering support and knowledge is unrivalled and investing in sessions with her is the most worthwhile investment you could make for yourself. The changes I have seen in my strength and health overall are amazing and I couldn't have done it without Charlotte's guidance. Fantastic experience: I joined activ a few months ago after being at a commercial gym for the past 3 years but decided to move because of how busy it became and the opening and closing times didn’t suit me. Ever since I have joined activ, I have never felt better! The welcoming and friendly atmosphere has really helped with my motivation and drive to push myself more in my training. As a young girl, weight training can be very intimidating however I have recently been training with Mel who is the loveliest person and such an amazing pt to be working with, I always walk away from my sessions with a big smile and feeling of satisfaction. She has really helped me develop my form and shown me a whole variety of exercises that I never knew I would enjoy and the results I am seeing are incredible! I highly recommend Mel, she works with people of all levels at the gym and has no hesitation to answer any queries or offer advice where needed. Thank you to all the staff at activ and Mel for making me enjoy the gym more than I ever thought I could

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Activhealth Fitness for about 3 years now and I absolutely love it. It is the most friendly gym I have been in, with fantastic equipment. Dean and Reece are fab and always so friendly and welcoming. I started PT sessions with Charlotte Long a few months ago following having a baby. Charlotte has a specialism in supporting women pre and postnatally and she is simply an incredible PT. I now feel confident to use all areas of the gym and I now know how to use all of the equipment with confidence. 6 months postpartum and I am back loving the gym and growing more confident by the day. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Mel enough! she helped give me that boost I needed by giving me a better understanding of using gym equipment and learning different sets in the gym. She also helped massively with personalising workouts for me at home with the equipment I had to hand and was happy to adjust them to my needs if I had any problems with the set workout plans. Overall she’s a lovely PT and so easy to get on with and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Mel for over 2 years now, couldn’t reccomended her enough, she’s made me so much more confident in myself, made me stronger and made me enjoy working out. I look forward to all my sessions every week with Mel. All the staff in the gym are lovely and it’s a very comfortable and happy environment to work out in.

Fantastic experience: The gym itself is clean and well equipped with a lot of variety and scope for my needs. My PT is Mikey and he is excellent, he has taken the time to know and understand me and my fitness needs / goals. His sessions are always very well structured and works at my pace but pushes when he knows I can go a little further. I am on my first set of 8 sessions with him and I will be renewing for another set. He has helped improve my physical and emotional health.

Fantastic experience: I have recently started personal training sessions with Melissa and now really enjoy going to the gym! Melissa has listened to my needs/ wants and tailors workouts to achieve my goals; she’s also very friendly and supportive! Active Health Fitness is a lovely environment where everyone is so helpful and approachable. The gym equipment is clean and spaced out nicely. I feel excited & comfortable attending this gym!

Would not go to any other gym now as I’m so comfortable here! Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for a little while now. I see the lovely Mel for personal training each week and thanks to her I have now been confident enough to go alone on occasion! Mel has taught me loads, she is super friendly and will always answer my questions even outside of our sessions and I always look forward to seeing her! Wouldn’t have any other personal trainer! The gym is clean and friendly with good equipment! Everyone is helpful and it feels safe late at night! My only complaint would be the water to refill your bottles is pretty cloudy & they could have the air con on properly now it’s summer :)

Fantastic experience: I have been having pt sessions with Mel for about 18months now and could not recommend enough. I have noticed a huge difference in my overall strength and fitness since starting. Mel is a fantastic support and pushes you to do things when you think you can’t! I enjoy every session! The gym is a really lovely place to be, all staff are welcoming and I have never felt intimidated or self conscious when being there. All equipment is clean and tidy and there’s plenty to use! Overall I highly recommend active health :)

Fantastic experience: Very lovely and welcoming gym. Everyone is very friendly and the people that run it are lovely and professional with loads of experience and good advice. Good amount of space and equipment, which is meant to improve even more with a move to a larger location across the road. The classes are really good fun, as well as a good workout that will push you individually. They have een put on loads of good online classes through their app to help people stay fit dyring lockdown. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Pretty good gym. Not only it has the standard fitness stuff, but also some.of the strongman equipment, like farmer's walk, yolk, tyre, fat grip bar. Very clean and tidy Staff is very helpful Did I mention they have a sauna as well?

Positive experience: Great , straight forward facility with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff not just informative about exercising but also in wellness and life style . I've been a member a couple of months and very much enjoy the ample parking and generous amounts of equipment , for the more serious weight lifter there is a really well stacked weights room .

Fantastic experience: A fantastic gym. The place is always spotless. Everything works. A huge selection of weights, machines and equipment. The big seller for me is the movement space - an array of pullup bars, rings, a punching bag, and lots of space to do all sorts of things makes this gym suitable for anyone. They've even got a sauna! The staff are all friendly, the place has a great atmosphere to it. At the price of the membership, it's an absolute steal. This place is a gem. Get to the gym - specifically, this one.

Having renewed my membership today (I choose to pay annually), it's an opportune time to let people know that I continue to pay the same fee that was in place when I joined in 2010. Fantastic experience: Active Health & Fitness is a very friendly and welcoming club with a good range of machines and free weights. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful and are always willing to help. Having looked at many local health clubs and joined a few that disappointed me I was delighted that I found this one. Fantastic experience: I've been a member of the 2 fitness centers Dean has run on this site over the years. This newer one is much better with reasonable gym and studio facilities. Staff are great, classes thru the week and a much better feel to it than the big gyms you can join. Happy to be long term member, especially when I'm welcomed warmly after missing a few weeks. Great convenient place just off the A27 with ample parking.
