Fantastic experience: Our twin 5 year olds described their party at The Little Gym as the best party ever. The staff were superb from answering the initial inquiry, to working the detail (including separate themes of mermaids and unicorns and separate group activities for the two birthday girls), through to the party itself (most importantly, they were great at engaging with and encouraging the children) and even clearing up. They made it so easy, so as parents all we had to do was organise the food, party bags and cakes. We loved it so much, we've signed up for classes from September, and our daughters can't wait!

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym, my little boy has absolutely loved coming here, it has taught him so much physically and helped him to be running around confidently at 12 months old! Lovely teachers too, would definitely recommend ⭐️

Fantastic experience: We love the Little Gym so much, my daughters both have the best time when they go to the holiday camps and my youngest counts down the days to her class on a Tuesday.

Fantastic experience: My daughters adore little gym and it's become a really key part of our weekly routine and their development. Supporting fine and gross motor skills, language, social and relationship skills whilst also having fun. I've enjoyed the bonding moments in parent and child classes and now love watching my eldest thrive in her independent class. We always feel welcome and a part of the little gym family. Such a treat to have little gym on our door step.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has been attending The Little Gym for 8 months and we couldn't be happier with the experience. What sets this gymnastics school apart is their ability to blend learning with fun. The classes are filled with games, challenges, and creative activities that keep her engaged and excited. It's the highlight of our toddler's week! The heart and soul of The Little Gym undoubtedly lies in its passionate staff. They go above and beyond to nurture our daughters gymnastic talents. Their patience, infectious enthusiasm, and genuine love for teaching shines through in every class and camp. We look forward to many more years of exciting growth, joy, and achievements. Fantastic experience: Both of my children attend the Little Gym Harpenden and we have loved it since day 1. The parent and child classes have a lovely atmosphere and give you time to bond with your child. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful and create lovely bonds with adults and children. My son attended the holiday camp and had a great time- we ended up booking extra days. The extra activities they put on just add to the little gym community. My children would be here everyday if they could. We can’t wait to continue our new classes this September

Fantastic experience: My son has been attending The Little Gym in Harpenden for about 3 years. He is five now and still absolutely loves it. When he was small the parent and child classes were such a fun way to bond with him, doing something physical which he loved, and not just the typical baby group where he’d be climbing the walls and I’d be chasing after him. As he’s grown older the classes are always fun and varied and the teachers are all fantastic, full of energy and enthusiasm, not to mention their impressive gym skills. I love that I can sit in the comfortable waiting area and watch the class through the big windows but also I get an hour to switch off and read a book (or scroll Facebook!). Lots of his friends comment on his strength and muscles and he always tells them he got them at gymnastics! Every week I am impressed by his growing skill set but the biggest reason I recommend Little Gym is really nothing to do with Gymnastics, it’s because the challenge and positivity is SO good for his resilience and self esteem. One day after gym he told me that he today in Gym he learnt that ‘usually doing the actual thing is easy, the hardest part is having the confidence to try’ and another time he told me that when he finally managed a skill he’d been working on for a long time that he felt funny in his tummy, and we realised what he felt was proud. I think this learning is pretty much priceless! Thanks Little Gym team - we love you!

Fantastic experience: Both kids have been going since 2018, and look forward to going every week. The teachers are so patient and fun, and our kids (5 & 3) are so confident in all their physical activities. I can’t recommend it highly enough, thanks to all the team!

She absolutely loves it, the activities are well thought out and the guidance from the session leaders are helpful, instructive and always delivered with kindness and enthusiasm. The whole experience is fantastic and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic experience: As a whole family, we wholeheartedly recommend The Little Gym Harpenden. Mum, Dad, Uncle, Granny and Grandpa have all been to participate in or watch the fun, physical and educational classes! Our little one started when she was 4 months old, and her overall development, confidence and coordination over the last 6 months has really flourished! The staff at The Little Gym Harpenden are welcoming, friendly and professional - they are experts in child development and they know their stuff! The Little Gym Harpenden was recommended to us by other parents who have seen positive results in their children and we will continue to recommend the classes to other parents we meet. This has been the best baby class I have experienced, and I went to many while I was on maternity leave. It’s not local for me, but definitely worth it. Now I have returned to work, this is the class I prioritise for my daughter and I ensure her Grandpa or myself can take her each week. I would love for her to go for the next 12 years and build on these early skills! It my view that it is a long term investment in my child’s future that will support her in all areas of learning. The safe, nurturing, and supported environment at the gym allows for my little one to be creative and build on the skills she’s developed at her own rate. The Little Gym staff equip parents and family members with the knowledge, confidence and next steps to build on these skills at home and in the gym. It is a delight to see my daughter grow in confidence and coordination at such a young age (10 months!). I am thankful to have the support of The Little Gym Harpenden team guide me, and my family through these crucial years of development for my daughter. Thank you! The opportunity to chat to other parents, help ourselves to tea and coffee, and attend additional classes and themed (Halloween and Christmas) parties are all a lovely bonus. I look forward to the holidays where I can attend the classes myself with my daughter and the extra tumble and tea sessions.

Fantastic experience: My son (and I!) adore The Little Gym, I cannot recommend the staff and lessons more highly. We started off by coming to a Christmas party and now my son has been attending weekly for nearly 10 months and his lesson is absolutely the highlight of his week. Where he can feel anxious in certain situations, he's incredibly comfortable and confident in class, thanks to their nurturing nature and loves the skills he's learning. After attending the Halloween party yesterday my son got in the car and said to me "Mummy, I just love The Little Gym. My teachers are all so lovely and kind to me". I couldn't agree with him more!

Fantastic experience: We are sooooo happy that we are a part of the little gym in Harpenden. My children loves it and keeps talking about the classes at all times. They are so proud of themselves and proud of their achievements. Teachers are amazing -very supportive and they are encouraging children really well. We are there for over 6 months and we will by there for years- that’s for sure!

Fantastic experience: Super impressed with The Little Gym in Harpenden! Went for my nephews birthday and my 8 month old daughter absolutely loved it! Wish there was one closer to where I lived as I’d be there regularly. Perfect set up for a toddlers birthday as they can all run wild in the safety of the gym!

Fantastic experience: My son loves coming to his little gym class each week! Such a wonderful safe environment for him to be able to let of steam whilst learning in the process! The staff are so friendly and enthusiastic which makes the session enjoyable for the whole family. Can't wait for his little sister to start when she turns 4 months!

Fantastic experience: The work of Amy and all the team at The Little Gym is second-to-none. They bring so much experience, passion, ability and expertise to this wonderful, imaginative work with early years. It's astonishing how great the impact is, and how much we've seen our children's confidence grow as a result if working with them. I can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience: A wonderful experience! My kids love The Little Gym, I wish that they could go every day!!! The instructors are so kind and caring and really thoughtful towards the needs of my children.

Negative experience: It's impossible to book a one-off here to try out their classes. I explained on the phone that I would love to give the class a try (paying at the going rate of course, not as a freebie) to see if my son and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I was told this was categorically not offered and that I would have to sign up for at least a 4-6 week course. I understand the logic but not even giving people the opportunity to trial is not customer friendly so we'll be signing up for one of the wealth of other classes in St Albans/Harpenden.

Fantastic experience: Such a great place for little ones! Teachers are lovely and lessons are good fun for babies, toddlers and parents! Opportunity to work on their social skills as well as building up their core strength. Love the fact there is flexibility and you can either opt for a monthly membership or a pack of classes.

Fantastic experience: What I love about The Little Gym Harpenden is the relationship between the staff as if they are a family. This creates a very warm and nice atmosphere there where everyone feels welcome. First time I tried LG was during their camps. My daughter didn’t want me to leave and the team kindly let me stay with her in all the activities. I remember sitting in the corner of the hall and watching the kids wondering how it was possible that there was not even one unhappy child! Not even one! Everyone was happy engaging in the activities, smiling, laughing, the teachers were so energetic and every single person there was having a great time including my daughter. It was in that moment that I realised I had found the right place. 8 months have passed and we are still having the best time there. My daughter has learned lots of new skills and I enjoy watching her being encouraged by her teachers to try her best every single session. We always leave LG with a big smile on our face and in our hearts. ♥️ :)

Fantastic experience: Our son has been attending little gym since he was 6 months old and he is now 3! His confidence has grown so much over the time we have been coming. He enjoys the classes and tumble and tea sessions on offer and the skills he has learnt have been invaluable, from physical to relational to communicative. Our daughter will be starting very soon and we can't wait for her to experience what our son has. It's the only class we have stuck with after trying many. Fantastic experience: My two children Love coming to Harpenden little gym. We did a Christmas camp which they loved so will look at the other camps they offer this year! It’s great for making new friends, learning and great exercise with being fun. Every week is different and they always want to go. Thank you lovely team!

Fantastic experience: My children have been coming here for years now. The staff are warm and friendly, as well as knowledgable. They always find a great balance between supporting a child and making them feel secure, and encouraging them to push themselves. My children have learnt that practise makes perfect, which is a fantastic life lesson, and the classes have help build their confidence. The building is great, it is kitted out really well, and kept clean and nice. It is a comfortable to be in, with cafe style seating set out so you can see your older children's classes (with younger children you go in with them!). All in all a great place to be!

Fantastic experience: My baby and I absolutely love The Little Gym! It’s such a friendly and warm atmosphere, and the staff are incredible - so knowledgeable and kind, they really help make you feel at home. I also love the kitchen area, it means the environment is great for making friends as after a class you can stay back and enjoy some lunch and make friends. And we love that family can watch a class too. I love the informative classes, almost as much as my baby does. This is by far my favourite class and it’s the highlight of my week.

Fantastic experience: All 3 of our kids have attended little gym since before they were walking. I feel it's been instrumental in there physical and social development. The staff have been wonderful and nurturing and the kids are always happy to attend. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My son has been attending the little gym's exciting, energetic classes for a few years now and the team never to fail to deliver. Each week is a new focus which helps to keep the children interested whilst continuing to build on their strength and basic skills. The team at Little Gym Harpenden are a lovely, friendly and approachable group and I couldn't ask for a better bunch of teachers, hence why I have now signed my 1 year old up for weekly classes.

Fantastic experience: My extremely boisterous son loves these classes. They're well organised, well run, with great equipment and a nicely varied programme, and the teachers are wonderful - lively and full of energy. They teach real gymnastics skills so you can see the kids improve in concrete ways (my 4yo can now do a near perfect cartwheel) but it's also brilliant fun and doesn't feel like 'learning'. Can't recommend highly enough.
