Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym - I spend time in different places so I signed up for a cheaper annual membership which allows me to be more flexible & works perfectly every time I’m in the area and want to use the gym. It’s a proper, family friendly gym, with fantastic equipment for all levels of gym goers & miles better than the local 24/7 gyms with zero atmosphere and overly busy. I look forward to being in the area so I can use this gym compared to my gym at home! Would highly recommend Also, an honourable mention to Kye who is a great lad and always happy to help/give advice if you want it.

Negative experience: Called to ask for opening times information (if they planned 24 hrs opening). Some rude idiot picked up, gave monosyllabic responses to my questions and literally shouted me off the phone. Awful experience and I won't be registering at this gym. Find out who took this call and have a word with them. They lack courtesy and are very rude to potential customers.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for a few years. They have a range of different apparatus and from my visit today they have added some more! The staff are friendly and helpful I would 100% recommend this gym if you like a quiet environment

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for years, and I absolutely love it. They've got everything I need, from a wide range of machines and free weights to top-notch cardio equipment. The air conditioning is fantastic, keeping the place cool and comfortable no matter how hard I'm working out. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help, and the gym is always clean and well-maintained. This place has been a key part of my fitness journey, and I can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy that I found this gym. Its definitely a hidden gem. I personally think its the best in the area. The reviews here speak for themselves and are accurate. This is a great gym no doubt, they have all the best machines with all kinds of different machine variation that you never get in the more commercial gym, and they are well maintained. Very helpful staff and it doesn’t get extremely busy like other place, which is one of the reasons that made me change gyms. there plenty of equipment. You wont be disappointed here.

Fantastic experience: brillant massive gym in se2 , great vibe here with really helpful staff that are always on hand and really good selection of weights and cardio machines and they have so many cardio machines its brilliant so no waiting time unlike some of the smaller gyms its also pay as you go which is good if you don't want to commit i would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a friendly gym that you will feel at home in

Fantastic experience: i have been going to thamesmead gym for a while now and i must say im really impressed by this gym i have used other gyms in the past its a family run gym that really has a old school feel but with all the equipment you need and more the staff are so welcoming and friendly and always ready to help with any information you need about the machines or training which is really helpful the gym is located in a very central place and has good transport a few seconds away and there is always space to park my car on the whole this is a very good gym and defo will be were im staying

I made contact to purchase for a fire station the owner offered to donate it for free I was amazed at the generosity. Please bare this gym in mind when looking for a great place to work out

Fantastic experience: my son tyrese has been going this gym for many years and always said how amazing it was as a older over weight mum i always felt very shy to go to the gym but after starting this gym wow the staff make u fill so comfortable and there is nothing to feel shy about they showed me what machines to use and really made me feel welcome which i feel is very important for us older ladies who maybe have never been gym before Stacey was so lovely and despite looking like a model lol made me feel at ease i will be going all the time now and this will help me to lose weight and completely change my quality of life i encourage any ladies who are thinking of going gym to try THAMESMEAD GYM u wont regret ur choice and hopefully it will change ur life as well

The customer service is also something to be mentioned, the staff goes above and beyond to accomodate your needs. It definitely feels like I found the right gym and will be keeping my membership for a long time.

Fantastic experience: Real gem of a gym. I didn't think places like this still existed and never thought I'd find somewhere like this anywhere within the M25. Friendly staff (family run), really cheap and near the bus stop. Worth traveling for. Serious enough to make you want to train hard (feels just like the old gyms), yet somehow still has a community feel - you'll feel at home whether you're a novice or a quadzilla.

Fantastic experience: I went to this gym a few weeks ago to do a day pass as i was only around the area for the day. I went in around 1pm and was greeted by a young man who helped me massively and showed me round the whole gym! He was really polite and charismatic. The gym was so much bigger then I thought and the atmosphere was great also. Loads of options of machines free weights and cardio equipment.

Fantastic experience: If you don't miss areobic classes this gym has everything you need. Huge area so never feels busy. Lots of equipment in good working order and for a £15 joining fee and £3 a session you can't go wrong. Love it!

Fantastic experience: Only here for a month for work but the staff waived the joining fee and let me just pay for a month as i wasnt here long. Staff were super friendly and motivational, also helpful with some machinces id never seen before. Also the regular customers are friendly and welcoming which is rare nowadays ill be back to the area soon and will 100% be training in this gym.

Negative experience: Went there as new year resolution with my partner and wanted to sign up if we like the place. Arrived, it looks rundown and not welcoming. We met someone at the window who said he was the owner. Asked are we members we said no, he said its £5 each. I took out my card and and said cash only. We had £7 in cash. He said you can't come in as it's £10. He was super rude and abrupt. We left and hoped onto a bus to Snap Fitness 10 minutes away. Met a super nice girl that let us work out for free as we are non members and we both signed up for a yearly subscription. Avoid this place at all cost. If I could give it a lower star I would. Their loss is Snaps gain. If you are the Owner of that horrible gym - well played.
