Negative experience: Called this place on 2 separate occasions within a week just to find out prices,both occasions took 5mins taking my all my details,email address ect and told someone will get back to me. They never did! Not good. P.S this response is to the reply...... Nothing happened to your message service,I spoke to your admin staff on Tuesday and Friday. On both occasions she took details and said I would be called back,nobody called so shes either not passing the messages or the person who supposed to call isn't calling. Just simply wanted prices.

Fantastic experience: 5-Elements is a special community to be a part of. Whilst serving as masterfully diverse martial arts gym, with different personalities and creed alike, 5-Elements supersedes the reputation of just being an ordinary martial arts gym. I’ve been able to personally experience the warm and welcoming community feeling throughout the years of training and coaching I have received. I can honestly say that I always leave a session happier, having learnt something new and being more fulfilled than when I first walked in. The academy offers a plethora of different training experiences, all of which are taught and coached to the highest degree. If you’re looking to get into martial arts at any level or age, traditional or trending, you will be welcomed. Excursions and training trips to Thailand are offered annually which I would highly recommend. 5-Elements takes a particularly keen interest in building a strong foundation for the youth and adolescence by training them in the martial arts. The kids have great fun but also learn the fundamental principles and disciplines for years to come. I’ve been a long standing member and I’m proud to be part of the community that has been built by Tony, his coaches and the students. A great gym to train where the roots run deep, and I wouldn’t be the same person I am today without 5-Elements.

Fantastic experience: I went here for about 3 and half years ( I only left becuse of a leg injury) and honesty it was amazing! It was The best thing I ever did The staff are so nice they always help you if you get stuck even the participants there really willing to help.

Fantastic experience: I have 2 kids at this Gym, they have been attending for over 10 years, it’s more like a large family with everyone helping one another. The coaches are extremely good always available for help and advise . You should definitely try this club you’ll not find better

Fantastic experience: My son, daughter and I have all been members of 5 Elements. Training here under Wes and Tony has been an important part of my children’s formative years, having grown in confidence and fitness. As with all fun things, an hour at the gym seems to vanish in a fraction of the time, but we leave exhausted, sweaty and with the buzz of a great workout. The diverse membership across all ages, race, gender etc, reflects the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with support on hand whether you want to train to compete, achieve your strength and cardiovascular fitness goals or just have fun kicking and punching the pads!

I was a bit nervous about joining a boxing gym as a woman but I felt really reassured after the first session that everyone is welcome at what ever stage you are at in your boxing training. I feel that I have learnt new techniques and skills just after a few sessions.

Fantastic experience: Hi joined 5 elements about 4 and a half years ago. I did it mainly for fitness as the gym was a bit boring and wanted something to keep me fit and build my confidence too. i was quite a shy person with not many friends, since being at the club i have made loads of friends and have improved my fitness loads as well! i was 27 when i joined and now i'm 31 and i have never felt fitter and as confident as i do now. it's a good club, the people and the instructors are top. people come for all different reasons, i came for fitness but some people come just for the social aspect of the club and some even come and train to fight. either in kick boxing,mma or more recently boxing. i'll admit i have thought about leaving to go to other clubs in the past but in all honesty i am happy with 5 elements and it's where i plan to stay. after all my new friends are all here :)

Fantastic experience: The quality of teaching at 5 Elements is superb but what really makes it stand out above other clubs in my experience is the family atmosphere which makes you feel welcome and helps you learn. If you are thinking of trying out one of the classes but are a bit nervous about stepping through the door for the first time then don't be - give it a try and I am sure you will never look back.

Fantastic experience: A family atmosphere for the youngsters to carve out their futures in martial arts, followed up with inspirational coaches and instructors to see you through to the very top level of your chosen discipline. I joined nearly 4 years ago to MMA class, apprehensive to what was in store. What came was clear instruction and passion with the feeling of being total welcomed into 5 Elements. I cant rate this gym highly enough at all levels. If you want to get fit and tone up, see your children enjoy themselves or dedicate yourself to becoming a fighter 5 Elements is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: The Chow Gar Southern Mantis classes at 5 Elements is the best traditional Chinese martial arts classes I have found in Essex. A great combination of practical strikes, self defence, body conditioning, form work and weapons training. A lot of emphasis on techniques that work.
