Fantastic experience: The staff on reception are so kind helpful and respectful. The gym Is a amazing facility and so clean and tidy. Mags Is so helpful and always goes out of her way to make all members feel welcome. I am going to miss the place when I go home to Colombia. Thank you for your kindness and when I return to Scotland I will be back at SMAC gym.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place whether your gym confident or you’re starting from fresh but not comfortable in a gym environment. It’s not like other gyms, everyone is there for one purpose, to work out in a friendly environment. I personally love the exercise classes .From lift and burn, circuit and boxercise, there is something for all and all different levels of experience. But levels don’t matter and it’s doesn’t matter if you have been going for a while, everyone is gubbed after a “Mag’s “ class. Mags is our fitness fairy ‍♀️, who keeps us on our toes and never two classes are the same which I personally love. There is no routine for 9-10 weeks which i personally don’t like. Mag’s doesn’t partake in the class, she is there to keep you safe and make sure you perform well, getting the best out of her class. She spends time making sure you have the right techniques and this is done professionally. She is so encouraging and enthusiastic about her classes. I recommend that you put your “gym feats” aside and come experience the most welcoming fitness classes with a fantastic bunch of men and women.

Fantastic experience: I attend the fitness classes. The classes are suitable for all levels of fitness ability. The instructors are brilliant, they are very welcoming and supportive. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to start their fitness journey to give it a go. My journey started 6 years ago and I still love it!

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, friendly atmosphere, and staff that actually know what they're talking about! Gym area recently refurbished and new kit added. Everything is always clean - nice to use a locker room that doesn't SMELL like a locker room. I've been going here for nearly 2 years and that's not going to change.

Fantastic experience: SMAC is the only gym to be part of in Clackmannanshire. I know this because I've been a member of the majority of them. Gyms such as the peak in Stirling, Bannantynes in Edinburgh and PureGym in Stirling, even Nuffield in Glasgow. Truth be told, I was prompted to review SMAC due to large chain gym opening in Alloa and although these 24 hours access gyms are generally soulless and bland with no personal element to them, they tend to take a handful of business from locally run businesses who pour every drop of their heart, soul time and energy into. SMAC gym is a Local family run business with outstanding set up and equipment, family friendly with a variety of classes and spaces to meet your training needs. This gym over the years has become a huge part of our lifestyle as a family, not only for us as adults but the kids too. Choosing SMAC as our gym rather than anywhere else in Clacks has been the equivalent of choosing Filet Mignon over a McDonald's Big Mac...No comparison

Fantastic experience: Have just recently moved gym to Smac recently. I had been at my previous gym for 8 years and was feeling a plateu in my training so decided to try SMAC. As a competing martial artist I always have to to keep my motivation levels up and training dialled in. Needless to say, my training motivation is back exactly where I need it to be and its all thanks to the environment at SMAC. Great staff, always motivating and positive when visiting the gym. Likeminded individuals which feels like a community, 5 star equipment which is always being added to to enhance training for members. All round 5 star experience and would recommend to everyone in the area.

Fantastic experience: The Scottish martial arts centre (SMAC) is the best in the country. From world class instructors to amazing martial arts fitness programs, you won't find anything like it. SMAC is as good as it gets! From a young age the instructor at SMAC have been able to teach me not only the fundamentals self defence, in their amazing Brazilian jujitsu classes, but also how to find fun and enjoyment out of a disciplinary sports such as Tae-kwon-do. I Could not recommend SMAC enough, if you're a beginner or a experienced martial artist you'll be sure to feel welcomed and understood at The Scottish Martial Arts Centre. :)

Fantastic experience: TKD Tigers classes are fantastic, instructors are all super friendly and work wonders! Our little one loves attending and is learning loads too. All staff friendly and helpful, couldn’t recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to visit, brilliant facilities and both my children do their TKD here. My eldest has been going since he was 4 and in the tigers class and now in the juniors group. My youngest is now a tiger and both really enjoy the classes. The instructors work really well with the children, they have fun while learning. They offer support and guidance, push them to do their best and be the best they can and are always available to chat with if needed. Def recommend Scottish Martial Arts Centre to others!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic family run facility at smac, the friendliest and most helpful coaches who know how to put you through your paces. Great range of classes. The cleanest mats/equipment I’ve ever seen in any gym or sports facility. Therapy room that always smells like you’re in a spa rather than a gym with the best therapist you could ask for, relaxing treatments or pain relieving treatments which always leave you feeling tip top again. Staff members who listen to the customers, new classes get added and trialed and new gym equipment frequently. Also very reasonably priced. Can’t really ask for more out of a gym.

Fantastic experience: I continue to be amazed by the team at SMAC, or should I say family, the family atmosphere there, makes all the facilities they have much more enjoyable!

Fantastic experience: Great place for kids training. Our lad loves the classes, they are a very friendly, supportive and positive environment. He also gets a real sense of achievement from the gradings.

Positive experience: Excellent Gym facilities and classes (when they are allowed to run). Well equipped and decent amount of plates and weights. Racks a little close together though - need to be very careful if accessing the plates or adding more on the bar.

Fantastic experience: Been attending here for Muay Thai for a few months now. The facilities are well kept and the instructors are really nice people! The class prices are good as are the memberships. Hopefully I'll be able to keep going for a while yet. :D

Fantastic experience: My daughter attends the TKD Tigers classes here and these have helped her self confidence, team work and stanger/danger awareness a lot and has met lots of new friends through this. I'd recommend this centre to everyone of all ages and abilities and for lots of different activities also. The centre is clean, tidy and the staff and instructors are always helpful and understanding of all ages and abilities. Thanks to Adam and the team for a job well done.

Negative experience: mats are always dirty and the instructors are terrible. SMTC is much better.
