Fantastic experience: Absolutely love being a member of MHC. Great facilities, friendly staff and a good range of classes on offer. Am particularly enjoying Giovana’s yoga sessions and Gabriella Marcia’s aquacise classes on Wednesday evenings. The latter is a terrific full body workout and I always sleep very well afterwards!

Fantastic experience: I joined MHC when gyms reopened after Covid and have enjoyed every session since then. MHC has a very community feel to it and I enjoy having a chat with the team when I’m gym. Would highly recommend it as a great independent gym to join over other chain / franchise ones.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for the opportunity to bring Spanish classes to the gym with Ven Language Services! We are excited to return to the roots of the gymnasium, where both body and mind were exercised, just like in ancient Greece. Back then, gyms were centers of physical training and intellectual discourse. Now, in North London, we have brought into life this tradition with small, dynamic groups that foster both learning and community. The spirit of the ancient gatherings has come back, creating spaces for lively conversation and connection. Fantastic experience: What a fabulous community gym!! I’ve been attending almost on a daily basis for the last 3 years and it feels very much like a second family. Everyone is respectful, kind and friendly which makes it even more special! The PT instructors are really knowledgeable and approachable and the front staff are always very helpful. I’ll be moving away soon and although I feel really sad leaving, I also feel very grateful to have had an amazing experience coming here. I would truly recommend this gym to anyone from novices to experienced sports enthusiasts…this gym has it all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The classes are fantastic, allowing me to go at my own pace, and the trainers are truly inspirational. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. The pool is excellent, with controlled swimming sessions ensuring ample space, and the atmosphere throughout the club is great. I especially appreciate that the steam and sauna rooms are separate for ladies and conveniently located next to the women's changing room. Everything is kept very clean, which adds to the overall experience. The reception area is also a highlight, featuring beautiful artwork by local artists, a water machine, and comfortable seating surrounded by the paintings. My only suggestion would be to add a spinner dryer for swimming costumes, which would be a nice convenience. Overall, Muswell Hill Club is a wonderful place to stay fit and enjoy a variety of amenities. Highly recommended!

There are also large spaces for weights and a good selection of weight machines. The staff are so kind and friendly and the trainer's are always on hand to help. It is great value as offers all of the above and the swimming pool and spa. I love this gym!

Fantastic experience: I've been attending Gabriella's extreme burn abs workout for over a month, and it's quickly become one of my favourite classes. It's fast-paced and fun, and, most importantly, Gabriella pushes us in every session while keeping the exercises varied. Missing this class gives me anxiety—it's that good! I request that the Muswell Hill Club provide Gabriella with more classes! That would be brill!

Fantastic experience: Very lovely local gym, have been going here for over 6 months now. Value for membership is hugely unmatched for North London given the vast array of facilities available within gym (sauna, steam room, pool, spin studio), they are also consistently well kept. But what truly makes this place so extraordinary is the front of house and management team who have been kind and as someone who casually attends gyms in the past that were part of chains, this place feels friendlier, less corporate and they actually care about their customers! Have had only lovely interactions with the management team when it came to freezing my membership due to extenuating circumstances.

Fantastic experience: Very lucky to have Muswell Hill in North London .Very pleased with Gabriella, either with pilates or with her strengthening core classes,she has helped me a lot with my diabetes condition,to balance my glucose and also see fast results in the shape of my body.Great temperament ,and classes with care and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: Was a member here for over a year until early 2024. Only left as I’ve moved away from the area. The value for money is phenomenal. The club was always clean, never too busy and the staff are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Good variety of equipment for both cardio and strength. I loved the strength studio on the second floor, and also the free weights area on the ground floor. The swimming pool booking system ensures there are never more than 3 people in at a time. Word of advice for those who are driving - parking space outside is limited. Surrounding roads are free to park on, just not between 1100-1300. Thanks for everything, Hussein and team!

Easily accessible location, unassuming venue, offering a clean and generous gym set up, highly qualified Personal Trainers for those who prefer this route, private corners/rooms and a discrete indoor swimming pool. Good welcome upon entry, consistent reception staff; Gym users vary across all age ranges; young, old, disabled, visually impaired and naturally the ones who are on a mission to aim even higher and crash through their targets and beyond

Fantastic experience: Fantastic club that has everything you need under one roof. I started out doing swim lessons with Sunee who I highly recommend and I became a member then. Spacious gym with weights area and wide range of machines, spin studio and extensive range of classes. Lovely heated pool and sauna. The staff are always so helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I'd been having a difficult time recently and was finding it difficult to go outside, let alone go to the gym. Hussein, the owner, very kindly met with me in person near the gym. He validated and understood my concerns, and discussed ways in which he could help the gym feel safer and more inclusive for me. I've never felt so supported by someone so dedicated to ensuring that a community is safe. I feel very confident going to this gym now, and return to my usual active self! If you want an inclusive space to exercise, move and join in classes, this is your new gym.

Fantastic experience: I joined the club a few months ago and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The classes are excellent. Gabi runs a brilliant body conditioning class. and the Cardio Conditioning with Angela is also excellent. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming as are the other members.

Fantastic experience: Having heard the club was under new management, i returned after having a poor experience prior. Honestly, the club has an amazing turn around! The new owner evidently cares about his customers needs at the club, and has made changes to improve the member’s experience. Customer service/Equipment/Hygiene is on point - The Owner makes the effort to engage with Customers and shares his passion to ensure they are taking full advantage of the club’s facilities and services within the membership. All this concludes to give a very personable experience to you…So yes. I would definitely recommend! Negative experience: Condone bullying and emotional abuse Not only was I attending to get fit from my physical health but Also mental health this gym has done nothing to support the wellness however was enticed and allowed the bullying and abuse to consistently occur over last 7months after mentioning to them about this they gave me no sort of resolution or phone call to apologise. Fantastic experience: Muswell Hill Club is a friendly and welcoming health club which is a place where all ages, shapes, sizes and genders can feel comfortable and welcome! We are particular addicts of Marta's spin class - tough but very enjoyable, and the perfect way to survive the pressures of a busy life!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend The Manor. It has always been I nice gym over the twenty years we have been attending, but it has improved since Hussain took over the ownership after the lockdowns. The staff of super friendly and the facilities are good. There is a great atmosphere now and the gym is an important part of the community.

Fantastic experience: One of the hardest parts of moving out of London is leaving this lovely gym! Can be quite hard to find a good local gym, but MHC is very well equipped (it has all the weights and machines I want to use) and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. I will miss it here! Fully recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member of MHC for over 18 months now. Friendly welcoming local gym. All the equipment you need plus great classes. I do spin with Marta and Bootcamp with Jana every week - good fun, relaxed and a good workout. Also can highly recommend Jana as an excellent PT. All staff helpful and know members well. Very lucky to be only a five minute walk away!

Fantastic experience: I’m no longer at the gym due to an injury but I wanted to say how wonderful Hussein the owner and his team are. They go out of their way for all their clients and I can say they have gone over and beyond for me. Hussein has made a warm friendly environment at his gym which embraces the local community. Fantastic experience: Brilliant club with a great range of equipment. I've been going for four months for a combination of free weights, cardio, and swimming. Friendly staff and great communication. They currently offer a day pass for £10 which is great value and a great way to bring a guest if you are a member.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for years. Since new management has taken it over it is absolutely fantastic. It’s small but mighty-and it really doesn’t lack anything. Gym equipment….all updated…swimming pool…..clean and maintained…..the team is absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. This gym has everything one could ask for helping to maintain a healthy life!

Fantastic experience: It’s taken me quite a while to get back into training. The team are super friendly there is great encouragement from them. I train with Jana who goes way beyond being a brilliant trainer. She has changed my complete outlook on working out. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Staff are friendly and genuine, classes are great with fantastic instructors and it’s great to have a laugh and chat with the gym members I encounter whilst I’m there. Positive experience: I returned to this lovely gym after an absence and have not regretted that decision. Hussein 'bent over backwards' to accommodate, and running any successful business is all about connecting with customers/clients, making people feel valued and welcome - and MHC has done exactly that. No airs and graces, a really good mix of 'clientele' which doesn't make anyone feel 'intimidated', 'put off' or anything else.....just a friendly local gym where you will find everything to cover own personal needs and requirements. IF I must point out some 'niggles' it's only the rather 'squeaky' machines/equipment at times:).........and people on their phones whilst physically just sitting on the machines/equipment, not actually using them! Otherwise I'm a very happy customer!

Fantastic experience: The Muswell Hill Club is a gym like no other. You'll find state of the art equipment, whether you want to do cardio, strength training or get into lifting heavy weights. You'll find a swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room. You'll also find, personal trainers, a great variety of classes and a lovely coffee area to sit for a while. Most important though, is that you won't find the intimidating environment of many gyms, and you'll feel completely at home, chatting to other members who are keen to help you feel like you belong. The staff are not just workers, they’re the friendliest people you’ll meet, working alongside the gym owner who’s often there, also working. It’s like a welcoming family that will look after you as a person, not just another member. As if that’s not enough, they’re extremely socially conscious. They have a drop off point for the local food bank and constantly organise community events and raise money for charities. The icing on the cake? It’s affordable, no extortionate membership fees! Without a doubt, the best gym I’ve ever been a member of, and the only one I’ve ever written a good review for, and I’ve been a to a lot of gyms around the UK!

Fantastic experience: The best value gym I’ve ever had, plus a lovely local feel where staff and members are on friendly terms with each other. Couldn’t recommend this local, independent gym more, it’s perfect! Starting a new chapter of my life focusing on healthy mind and healthy body so the very reasonable monthly fee is the best investment I make each month.

Fantastic experience: I specifically joined the gym to train with Jana and have loved every minute of it. She has helped me enjoy training in a way that I never thought I could and it has brought me renewed energy. The facilities at the gym are in good condition and diverse, offering something for everyone. I just wish there were more classes on offer as the women on weights and body sculpt ones are impossible to get into.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! It’s become like a second home now that I’m retired. The delightful, friendly and helpful staff are always welcoming and accommodating. The challenging but brilliant and fun spin classes have done more for my fitness than any classes I’ve ever done before and to have a pool, sauna and steam room available too is a real bonus. The weights and general fitness rooms have more equipment than I need and I always seem to be able to access the kit, even at busy times. I couldn’t be happier with my friendly, local gym!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area. After being a member of PureGym Finchley, I just couldn’t take the busyness anymore - even at 6am! I was pleasantly surprised to find this gym which also includes a sauna, steam room and a pool - plus classes included, and I never struggle to get a parking space. The staff are also super friendly and accommodating. This is definitely the best gym in the area.

Fantastic experience: The MHC gym has a very friendly and family atmosphere from all the staff and members. I'm not an active or sporty person normally, but by attending Marta's spin classes past 2 years, my fitness level has gone up so much and somehow I am motivated to attend her classes regularly! The others in the classes are very supportive so you work together through the tough workouts, magically perfect for beginners to advanced. I would strongly recommend MHC to anyone who would like to be fit and happy!

Fantastic experience: I joined this local club almost 2 years ago and I really enjoy going there. I do one spin class and one yoga class a week so it’s fantastic value for money. The staff are extremely helpful and inclusive. Marta’s spin class is a very friendly mixed group of people enjoying improving their fitness and challenging themselves. Marta gives personal guidance every week to help you achieve your fitness goals and Christine’s Sunday morning yoga class is a great weekly test of your flexibility together with a chance to focus on your self-care. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities and steam room/sauna in both of the changing rooms so never overcrowded. The staff are so friendly and kind and the gym induction was super helpful, informative. Clean and tidy and the price you can't knock it at all. Affordable monthly payments and although the stairs in themselves are a work out haha this is the best gym I've been to!

Fantastic experience: The thing I love about this local friendly gym is the members and staff make it feel like one big family. Great staff, great owner, great equipment and great gym family.. People talk to each other and it’s easy to ask anyone for help or advise if necessary. I use the gym and the swimming pool, the equipment, for me, is everything I need and then some, I am always able to use the equipment and it’s all in very good condition. Any questions I have are answered real quick too. I would suggest to anyone to give it a try

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since January and I have enjoyed my time at the club. It is very spacious so you don't feel like you on top of everyone else or feel like you are waiting around for equipment or machines. The staff were really friendly and I feel like I can complete my workout with the right level of privacy. My biggest highlight is the segregated steam and sauna. As a Muslim woman, this is quite important to me when using such facilities.

The classes booking system is very straightforward and you can cancel a class anytime if you can't attend without any penalty which is convenient.

Fantastic experience: The MHC staff are really friendly and there’s not a commercial feel to the gym at all, it’s a very friendly and relaxed vibe. Staff are passionate about their jobs and are very helpful. The club is really good value for the area. I especially like the sauna in the changing rooms after a work out. I feel very comfortable working out there as a woman. Would really recommend this club for good value yet quality facilities.

Fantastic experience: I can not express how much I love this club, from the staff, to the facilities of the gym, everything is perfect. I've been a member for several months and the gym is big, with plenty space to workout, enough weights for bodybuilding and a great sauna and steam room located in the changing room. They have parking available at the gym and on the street free of charge. The members are all from the local community and they're friendly and polite.
