Fantastic experience: A great gym, it has everything you need and plenty of space to workout in. I had a session with personal trainer Charlie, he was knowledgeable and patient, tough but friendly and gave me a great variety of exercises. The classes are really good and never crowded. The gym is clean and the staff lovely, I will recommend it to my friends.

Fantastic experience: From the start of the year I have been attending Shane’s boxing sessions on a Tuesday and It has been amazing! He pays attention to everybody individually and helps us to reach our best performance goals. Recently I took a personal training session with Shane and it really helped me to develop my strength and confidence. He is an amazing training coach and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is keen to know more about boxing and how it can help you grow physically and mentally. Thanks Shane, see you Tuesday!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, great equipment, beautiful and well-equipped (female) changing rooms and fabulous staff. What more could you ask for? Upon relocating to Welwyn, it was a pleasure finding a 'Gymbox' style gym. Having a pleasant environment makes it much easier to want to go to the gym daily. It really does make a world of difference and is worth the splurge.

I never feel intimidated or judged or anything by anyone, ever! Nothing but support and motivation from the moment you walk in to the farewell on the way out.

Fantastic experience: Hello! Since I joined Rise Gym 6 days before the second lockdown, I have been very impressed with the cleanliness and the equipment available. The changing rooms are always clean and the powerful showers are fantastic! Most of all the staff are very friendly and genuinely helpful. I had a query about my membership due to the lockdown and this was resolved immediately with the outcome I wanted. Rise also allowed me to pay pro-rata when I first joined as I couldn't afford the full month up front. I am very happy with this. I would highly recommend Rise Gym in WGC to everyone. I am not getting paid for this review, I feel you deserve my time to write this as my experience here is brilliant. Having said that I would love to win the free month membership as I am not currently working and this would mean a lot to me! Keep up the great work and I am very happy I chose to join Rise.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, great music, great trainers and support. What ever your gain or achievement is believe me they have some one to help. The wall is fun , they have equipment that no other local gym has, worth its weight in gold. ( excuse the pun) and a sun bed at the end of it. And if you really hate it and don't want to go back there is a KFC opposite but bet you won't I'm hooked

Fantastic experience: I joined Rise Gym 2 years ago after my previous gym closed down, the staff are amazing and welcoming, the equipment are always up to date and cleansed. Its a great atmosphere to workout. I have attended two group classes in my time here which is enjoyable and motivating. I definitely recommend this gym and their classers

Fantastic experience: If you are worried about going to a gym,try Rise Welwyn. Staff are friendly, gym users are friendly and the facilities are lovely and clean. The best gym I've been too.

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to join this gym before it opened and managed to get the top package with my partner as one of the first 100 sign ups. They've had an unlucky break with the opening delayed a few times and initial equipment delivery delays caused by the high winds earlier in the year and Coronavirus. I managed to fit in quite a few sessions between them opening and the government ordering all gyms to shut as I live very close. Parking is also not an issue for me as I live walking distance and it's on my way from the train station. The gym has a serious set up and seemed to have every piece of equipment needed and more. I can't wait for them to reopen in whatever way so I can get back to working out. Great facility, helpful staff and classes were also apparently quite good too. Through lockdown they also run virtual classes on their Instagram page too.

Fantastic experience: A new gym recently opened on the edge of town. Parking facilities just across the road. All shops within walking distance.

Fantastic experience: Top tier gym every staff member is polite and helpful. There always really welcoming and ready to answer any questions. Walking into a gym can be intimidating, but I've never felt that at Rise. The equipment is top quality, and the gym is always spotless. And the staff have put extra measures in place to keep the gym clean and safe after lockdown.
