Elitas Fitness - Chichester Gym

Negative experience: Useless. Went to use the gym but the door was locked and no staff there to open it. Don’t even know if the gym was completely closed.

Fantastic experience: Joined Elitas to help my recovery post ACL reconstruction. I was struggling to regain my fitness and feeling generally down as a result. David and Ben carefully assessed my whole body looking at individual areas where I was weak before providing a tailored exercise program. I am now fitter than I was before I broke my ACL. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: When we relocated from London at the beginning of 2021 I was resigned to joining a rubbish gym, similar to those I had found while staying with family and friends in other provincial towns. Elitas was a revelation. Ben, David and the team provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere - the equipment is absolutely top class - it's never crowded - always clean - and it attracts men and women of all ages and abilities. I've been working with David for nearly two years now, will be 78 after Christmas, and have never felt better.

Fantastic experience: I always hated gyms until I was recommended to see Ben at Elitas. He is a personal trainer with excellent knowledge in helping me with all my health issues. He is kind, thoughtful and I trust him not to push me too far. The gym and showers are always clean, nearly always empty so no queuing for equipment. I have recommended friends. No one watches you, they’re doing their own training! This is very different to other Gyms and worth a visit or an assessment if you’re considering a gym.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Elitas Fitness since 2015 and I can’t rate it highly enough. Ben and David have created an environment where you feel both challenged to work hard and supported to achieve your best with personalised advice. The gym is extremely well equipped and always feels like a welcoming and safe space for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant all round - truly wonderful staff, gym and atmosphere. Highly recommend personal training sessions with Ben. I first came to Elitas back in 2013, then left for uni. When I returned last year I went right back, and he helped me to continue managing a tricky soft tissue condition and brought back so much quality of life.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym in Chichester! Have been attending this gym for a year now, and having training sessions with Ben. Gym has great new equipment, nice showers, and is spotlessly clean. Always seems quiet, never a queue for equipment. Ben is a great trainer, sessions are 'full on', and are well thought out to work different muscle groups.

She manages to give everyone personal attention in a group setting, always ensures you are carrying out the exercises correctly, pushes everyone to their level of capability and creates very welcoming environment with a variety of people and abilities. Fantastic experience: Attended Nicky's circuit class on Thursday evening after a recommendation from a friend. Nicky was really vocal and clear throughout the class but also managed to go around and give one-to-one advice and guidance as did the rest of the class. As a newbie who was slightly nervous beforehand I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who may be thinking of attending.

Fantastic experience: I do Nicky’s classes regularly , and have done for a long time, she is amazing , and I wouldn’t go to anyone else . It’s not just that they are excellent classes , that she tailors to individual abilities, but she is so caring and takes time to help everyone emotionally and is always so supportive.

Fantastic experience: Addicted! At 52 I had never been in an gym, although I have done plenty of fitness classes of various kinds! Nicky is an amazing instructor, even in a busy class she has a unique way of making you feel as if it is a one to one session. Always checking that you are correctly executing each move and encouraging you to get the best out of your workouts. The other members are awesome, they are all so supportive and soooo friendly. Fantastic experience: The best gym I have ever joined. Having trained as a Personal Trainer myself when I was younger (in a mere 10 weeks), I felt completely out of my depth with providing anyone with any fitness or nutrition advice. It is wonderful to be at such a customer focused gym, run by professionals who really are experts in what they do, with years and years of experience and study. It's rare to find a gym with such knowledgeable and caring trainers who can help you with all of your fitness and mobility goals. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I recently started training with Ben @ Elitas and I can safely say that I have been extremely impressed with his knowledge, training style and his genuine care about my personal goals and progress. Elitas is an elite facility and one you might be surprised to find in Chichester - it absolutely blows commercial gyms out of the water and offers a much higher standard of service and equipment. At Elitas you certainly feel like a highly valued client and that is something that is rare to find in the gym environment. I personally would recommend Elitas to anyone that is seeking a welcoming, elite environment that will encourage you to achieve your goals.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely put this gym in the category of “world class”. Elitas boasts training facilities which most established, “premier” gyms are lacking. From the different grips for cable machines, pendulum squat machine, belt squat machine, elite quality dumbells, prowler, astro turf track....this gym has everything. Excellent changing facilities, reception area, sound system and air con. Huge range of classes and circuits too. Ben and David’s knowledge is vastly extensive, they’re friendly, approachable and have great staff in Nicky and Reuben. The gym 100% has a community feel to it with all members getting to know each other, all friendly, all polite, and with the capped membership, the gym is never overcrowded.

Fantastic experience: Incredible facility with the highest quality of coaches available in the south east. The equipment selection is perfect & a few pieces that you rarely see in a gym such as a pendulum squat and a belt squat. The place oozes class throughout & is worth every penny. Chichester is very lucky to have such a beautiful facility in the city.

Fantastic experience: What a place! If I could build a dream home gym it would look like this. The equipment is great for any power or oly lifting, getting huge, and getting shredded. I also want to mention that I’m from out of town and i needed a place to keep my juicy gains alive during my week in Chichester. The entire staff was super helpful in getting me a membership. As someone that has the body of a Greek god, believe me when I say that followers of the Iron Path will love calling this place home.

Fantastic experience: I've worked with David for the past 2 years and he's transformed me from a chubby 50 year old who hasn't done any proper exercise into a fitter, slimmer and more mobile version of myself! That may not sound much but trust me that's amazing. David is extremely knowledgeable on both fitness, mobility and diet. He designs routines to stretch but not break you and I highly recommend the gym whether you are an absolute beginner like me or a crazy physio nut who wants to use the best equipment in an environment that is both pleasant and in no way over-crowded (membership is strictly limited).

I have trained in gyms all over the world and the help and advice you get here is the best I have had Before they opened they listened to their potential customers and took onboard suggestions and incorporated it in the equipment and facilities The equipment is modern, functional and can be used for different activities / muscle groups I have never heard anyone say oh that was an easy class / session in Met Con but there are always smiles and encouragement If your lucky enough to become a member you won’t be disappointed as it’s not crowded and everyone is friendly

The gym is very welcoming and comfortable and I normally find gyms intimidating. Each client is treated equally, the ethos is about functional health and creating a friendly community, not gimmicky fads or superficial temporary goals. Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Elitas for around 18 months now. Started seeing David for personal training after I injured my knee skiing. He increased my strength and function so much and this made recovery after my surgery smooth and uneventful, which I believe is down to David. My wife and I now have joint personal training sessions together and we both have seen incredible results. David is a brilliant PT, he is attentive whilst at the same time pushing you at every session, and he has a wealth of knowledge regarding nutrition and health. My wife has never been stronger, and I myself feel great at the end Of every session.
