Fantastic experience: Old skool hardcore kind of gym but would Definitely go back! Proper powerlifting section in the basement, en-suite kitchen that makes fresh tasty food. Reception explained all areas and was warn and welcoming.

Negative experience: Hi i whent in to this gym and strait off the receptionists was so so rude and unwelcoming thos girl probly the most unwelcoming person I've met and just becouse of that I will never go back the gym it's self is ok loads of equipment no AC witch is terrible but I would advise these to change ther receptionists

Fantastic experience: I've been to a few gyms in Manchester, why all have their own unique features, but gudlift gym, is cool, calm and collective, working out here is peaceful and you won't have to wait long for anything compare to the other gym where user hog the machine for way too long, overall love this gym, and it's fare for what you pay compere to the other♥️

Fantastic experience: I got a day pass when I was in Manchester last week. Not my local gym but definitely would be if I lived in the area. Friendly atmosphere in there, but most importantly has got everything you need, whether you’re a bodybuilder / weightlifter / power lifter. Great gym 5*

Fantastic experience: The most ridiculous well equipped gym I’ve come across in my 20+ years of training (with some equipment I have literally never seen before). I honestly don’t believe you will find a better equipped gym in the whole of the North West + the people that run the place not only know their stuff but keep it clean and tidy. My little boy loves the kids classes they run on Sunday mornings.

Fantastic experience: Never felt so comfortable in a gym whilst wearing my headscarf. Everyone is so helpful, anything you want to know they will help you and advise. Very friendly place and it’s never too busy.

Positive experience: Did a session here with a friend who is a member. Great gym. No nonsense and very oldskool. Lacking a few machines (because of available space) but they easily have all the basics plus more to ensure you can complete a full training session in whichever bodypart you wish. Had a quick look in the boxing area which is attached to the gym and this is also very good.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic gym - the photos don't do it justice. I just dropped in for a day session and will definitely be returning. It's a bit far away otherwise I would grab a membership in an instant. Really good atmosphere and a gym you will no doubt get stronger in. Top notch equipment. Anyone one who is familiar with competition-grade pricing (Eleiko etc.) will take one look and see some serious £££ has been invested to make this place great. Whether you're powerlifting, oly-lifting or just bodybuilding (and anything in between) Gudlift will be the place to do it. The only downside is I'm probably going to cry when I next set foot in my local Pure Gym - just not comparable.

Fantastic experience: Great gym for doing bodybuilding training, strength and conditioning and powerlifting. Powerlifting area has a lot of top level comp spec equipment including an Eleiko combo rack, bars and calibrated plates. Would recommend especially for any powerlifters who are doing their comp prep training.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Been going here for 2 years since the new owner took over. The gym has transformed into a bigger and better gym with a great atmosphere. It consists of the main bodybuilding room, a powerlifting / weightlifting room (with competition equipment) and a studio. I highly recommend Gudlift.
