Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at Activate Gym for a month now, and the experience has been outstanding, largely thanks to Tom! The gym itself is well-equipped, modern, and always clean. Tom is an exceptional instructor who knows how to make every workout both challenging and enjoyable. The environment at Activate Gym is always welcoming, and Tom plays a big role in that. He brings a positive energy that motivates everyone to push harder and keep going even when the workouts get tough. He’s also approachable and easy to talk to, whether you need advice, workout tips, or just a little extra encouragement. His enthusiasm is infectious, and it’s clear he’s passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals. With state-of-the-art equipment, a supportive atmosphere, and expert guidance from instructors like Tom, Activate Gym is the perfect place for anyone looking to improve their fitness. Fantastic experience: Nice little gym with options for short passes, I usually get a weekly pass as I'm only using it when I visit, and having the option is perfect. There's lots of equipment and a good number of benches and racks. The only downside, and it's super minor, is that the equipment isn't the newest, but it really doesn't matter to me as it's still weight and it still works. I just wanted to mention that in the review incase it's a deal breaker for anyone. They have great low prices for membership to fit any of your commitment needs too. I use them every time I'm back in town and tend to visit in the mornings and around lunch time and I never have an issue with waiting to use equipment

Fantastic experience: Clean and quiet, perfect for a self paced workout. The other members respect the equipment with wipedowns, and never felt pushed to finish a set early. But fiddly getting in the main door with the QR code, but the staff are really helpful via email.

Fantastic experience: Love this place! Was so nervous about joining, as felt a bit out of my comfort zone, normally running and cycling outdoors but wanting to mix things up over the winter. Tom has been so kind and helpful showing me the ropes and setting up a programme for me. The other reviews mentioned that it feels like a real family here - they are so right! There's no stereotype here, just a lovely bunch of all sorts and all ages who want to keep fit and healthy.

Fantastic experience: It's a difficult task finding anything negative to say about activate fitness. Since I've been using this gym I've felt a strong sense of community and never had an issue working out in the spaces provided. Everyone is incredibly friendly and even at its busiest I'm still able to complete the exercises I have planned out for the day. Great gym.

Fantastic experience: Easy going gym with friendly people who all want the same thing, to gym and feel good doing it. Tom, the owner is a pleasure and always keen to help. The gym is cleaned everyday and there are social distancing guides throughout the gym.

Fantastic experience: Joined 2 weeks ago after few conversations via Facebook. Tom has made the whole thing so easy, he understands your needs and knows what will help you. Couldn't ask for a better, kinder person to help achieve your goals. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. It's great knowing that you can go on your own and not feel intimated by anyone. It's a great place.

Fantastic experience: This Gym is a bit of a hidden gem. It is run impeccably and kept immaculately clean - Covid cleanliness is impeccable too. What sets this apart is the friendly community of a very broad and diverse range. There is a great range of trainers and all members are courteous and friendly. The owner (Tom) takes a great deal of pride in his establishment and is always ready to give some tips and advice. Taunton is a better place with Activate Fitness!

Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym for over a year now and it is simply amazing, everyone is so welcoming and helpful, and I've now met a lovely bunch of friends going their. The gym itself has everything you need and different classes ever night which is free for members. I couldn't recommend this gym enough, especially for people who are alittle apprehensive about going to a gym due to nerves etc everyone their is great and so supportive.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for nearly 4 years now. Since the change of ownership in 2016 this gym just keeps improving. Very helpful staff who always make themselves available, whether it be giving fitness advice or a dietary question. Super friendly atmosphere whether you're just doing your programme or in one of the many different classes.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member now for over a year and cannot fault this establishment. I attend all the classes on offer from insanity, kettlebells and much more. The trainers are highly professional and always push you to your limits. The members are friendly and we've enjoyed many social events together. Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the area and on the recommendation of others went to see Tom at Activate Fitness. I was immediately made to feel welcome by the staff and other gym users. I do a number of the classes I have always been made welcome and included by other attendees, the instructors take time to ensure you know what to do and offer positive encouragement. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Really like this gym. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and is a non-intimidating place to train whatever your fitness levels. The classes are very good with just the right number of people. There is also a sauna too if you fancy a relax after your session. Price is very reasonable. Fantastic experience: What's not to like about this gym. It has a great atmosphere, all the equipment you could want, and friendly staff and members. There is a real family feel and staff are always on hand if you need help or advice. I look forward to my gym sessions, and can honestly say that my health and fitness have improved since joining. Fantastic experience: This gym is for sure the best within the area. It's situated right within the town centre making it easy and convenient to travel to wherever you live across Somerset. The best part about this gym though is for sure the staff; they are so welcoming and guide you through all the equipment step by step and are always available to speak to around the gym, whether it be related to fitness and working out or just for a friendly chat. The 'insanity' fitness classes they run are also great, due to the energy and community atmosphere they create every session. Staff are very knowledgeable on all aspects of fitness/ bodybuilding and create personalised programs to suit all. Also to top it all off they are very reasonably priced compare to all the other gyms in the area. Would very highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have a Monthly Membership with them, the facilities are great and most of all, my fitness has improved dramatically. One of the biggest changes was being able to lift 15kg more weight after the first month. Try it out, you will be amazed!
