Negative experience: They have no phone number to cancel and dont respond at all to emails, Turned up in person and they confirmed they would cancel immediately, still trying to take money out of my account . The bank are now chasing them after my report.

Positive experience: An aspiring blood and guts gym. Located on the 3rd floor of Allerton Mills, Maxxout has plenty of floor space and high ceilings. Set over 2 mezanines: one for weights, the other, currently for cardio and functional training. The plate loaded machines are unbranded though purported to be hammer strength. There are plenty of free weights and dumb bells available from 3kg up to 100kg. I was there around 6pm and it was not busy. That was refreshing. There are plans to expand, too - a studio and some proper changing roons with lockers. The parking could be better. It's at the rear of the mill complex and shared with the snooker club. It's not very well lit, I didn't see any security cameras, and it isn't smooth tarmac, so drive carefully. There is also a boxing gym 2 floors down in the same building, but it's run by another business owner. At the time of writing 02/12/2022, a day pass was £7 and a rolling monthly contract is at £25. Update at 27/05/2024: With membership increasing. It's getting busier at peak times. Management has also increased the number of machines which is great, but it is now cluttered. The floor is unsteady, cables are frayed and maintenance should be a priority. Don't let standards slip!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Moved here from down south 4 years ago. After a few years of going round from gym to gym iv settled at Maxout gym nicely. Good machine weights, free weights and cardio equipment. Great staff who are always friendly and also some amazing PT’s (personal trainers) ready to help with workouts, muscle mass/strength or if you’re looking to get lean or lose weight. They also help with diet plans. Highly recommend you check it out for yourself.

Positive experience: Good gym, but please inspect the machines as some of them can't be weight adjusted anymore. The part that connects to the weight is absent.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for that old school blood and guts style gym, then this is the place to be. Excellent atmosphere with brilliant equipment. Motivation all over the place to keep your physical and mental momentum going during the workout. Staff are friendly and supportive and there is never much waiting time for machinery/equipment. Would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Iv always wanted bradford to open a proper bodybuilding gym that has a pure hardcore vibe and I’m just glad that it’s here!! Don’t get me wrong, in the past we have had some decent gyms - physiques near Forster square was one of the first but that place would have and should have been closed due to cleanliness(slime and moss growing out the reception area) - forge was another and again it needed to close its doors due to many other reasons(wannabe gangsters acting hard) - more recently we had muscle factory which was opening whenever the morning shift workers woke up and management was very unprofessional and unreliable(sorry doc but it’s true). Let me tell you this - you will not find another gym where the management is above and beyond who have the members best interest at hearts - they go out their way for the members and the equipment inside speaks for itself. These guys are on another level up , this is their passion and they’ve built this place up to an extent that no one in bradford will be able to compete against. Unreal back and leg machines - this is what people want - the machines for the bigger muscles so there’s variety in our session as opposed to just barbells and dumbbells and just about every other machine that’s hard to get hold of with all the different brands out there - cybex lecogym just to name a few. This is a bodybuilders playground ,put it this way if you can’t build a physique here then you never will! Zain

Fantastic experience: My experience at MAXX OUT has been and continues to be perfect. Convenience at its finest. MAXX OUT is an amazing place to workout. I have been here for a while, hands down one of the best GYMs if not the BEST I have been to. The owners are welcoming with the hope of expanding the gym further! High quality machines, clean environment and brilliant staff. I would defo recommend MAXX OUT! .

The machines are spot on and you wouldn’t find them in a budget gym . A special shout out to one of the staff members , Yassir he’s always been very welcoming .

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms in Bradford. A wide range of machines, well looked after by the owners and staff. Always looking to improve and recently opened a second floor dedicated to cardio and classes. Specific areas designated for legs, arms, chest, back, shoulders and cardio. Sometimes I’m lucky to find it really quiet. Treadmills could do with a clean more often since they are touchscreen. Having said that, it’s the best gym I’ve ever used.

Fantastic experience: Maxxout Gym is truly a hidden gem! Located in an old mill with plenty of parking around the back. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The gym itself is well-equipped with some really good machines that cater to all fitness levels. I’d definitely recommend this gym.
