Fantastic experience: We booked this for our son’s 8th birthday. It was a Brilliant party, all the staff were so attentive kind and friendly! We booked it for 12 kids and it was managed perfectly. All the kids enjoyed themselves and stayed safe and this enabling the adults to also have a great time some even climbed themselves! The party room was also the perfect size easy to decorate. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had an introduction to bouldering on Saturday with Gabby. Great instruction. Very friendly atmosphere. Enough problems to keep me busy. Venue has decent gym equipment as a bonus. Reception staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Bought some shoes, chaulk bag and a punch card for 10 more visits the day after. Can’t wait.

Positive experience: Nice gym. Subjectively not that large, but definitely not small and cramped. Nice mix of problems. Boulder only. Had a cafe and nice training and yoga area.

Positive experience: great venue for a kids party- small and not as hectic as it would be in a larger venue. We had eight 10-11 year olds in the party. The team at Nest were very understanding and flexible with pricing and our late arrival which was much appreciated. More than 15 minutes before party time is recommended as it takes time to find shoes the correct fit for feet that may have grown more than expected! The party room had more than enough tables and chairs with access to speakers for music on devices. It would have been useful to see size of tables on website as our tablecloth was too small Cleaner tables on arrival would have made the room perfect- thankfully, the trusted anti-bac spray and kitchen roll were provided . All in all, a great time was had by all and I would recommend as an alternative, fun and challenging activity for a children's party.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic climbing gym, although you don't need to climb to enjoy the rest of it! I attend their great weekly fitness classes in their studio spaces. Great community hub too! The only downside is that the gym is so popular that you need to be quick to book a spot in the fitness classes.

Negative experience: Avoid Birthday Parties here. This place is the worst place I have ever come across when it comes to family birthday events for young kids. I had my kids 7th Birthday today from 3pm-5pm with 12 kids. The staff were very rude and unwelcoming. They think everyone coming to the place is stupid. A rude purple haired lady called Abby came across very rude on multiple occasions. My message to her is why work in a public place when you can't be polite and friendly.After the event multiple kids told me that Abby said I will make your birthday party miserable if you don't listen. This is unacceptable manner to speak to children and customers. She repeatedly spoke to family friends at the birthday of party as if they are deaf by shouting. The Zak with Long bearded at reception was behaving as if we had committed a crime by being there.We felt unwelcomed. They forget that people like us do them a favour by giving them business. The place is no way ready to deal with family friendly events nor is it safe as it directly connects to the gym, which is also dangerous for kids. Parents are not allowed to watch the wall climbing events despite having paid for the events. You can't walk around other than be in a small confined and cold room The place had lots of dust which was equally unsafe for anyone.

Fantastic experience: As far as climbing goes, I've only ever been here. The wall is well laid out and changed regularly. Gym has a good mix of free weights and machines. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

This is not just a climbing centre or a gym, it is a community, everyone that comes here is friendly and helps you out and giving you tips and techniques to help push you on any route you are struggling with. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to start climbing no matter your age.

Fantastic experience: It was such a lovely experience for my son. I think it's so good for kids. My son told his dad to take him next time, so they can climb together. I would encourage other parents with energetic children to consider sessions at The Nest climbing, very good way to burn energy, whilst having fun at the same time.

Despite its small size, there is always something to climb & enough space for everyone. The staff members are exceptional & make every climber (regardless of age, demographic or climbing level) feel incredibly welcomed; if you become a regular here, the centre will truly start to feel like a second home.

Fantastic experience: Really good. Pretty much everything is top-notch. They change 1/4 of the walls every week, the communkty is good, the classes are among the best. You get free rental shoes with the membership. What's not to like?

Fantastic experience: Been going here a while now and found myself enjoying climbing more and more. Staff are super friendly and helpful and remember your names. The membership are well priced with classes included. There’s regular classes available for strength, fitness and yoga which I’ve found to improve my climbing. The coffee is great. There’s also a workspace area and gym which are relaxed vibes. I use the space to catch up with life admin before or after a climbing session which is super handy! Parking is also free (with a permit), just outside.

Fantastic experience: I took my niece here for a session as she absolutely loves bouldering. We had a great induction from Rhiannon - it was really clear and helpful, and gave me (a very new climber) a lot more confidence to get involved. The space itself is great, and the little cafe at the front does delicious coffee. Would highly recommend checking it out!

Fantastic experience: I climbed for the first time yesterday. It was so addicting and pleasant that I spent 4.5 hours straight since the induction class! I have never met such nice people here! Like literally everybody is super nice! The staff is so helpful and friendly! They are awesome! The people who come there to climb were also really really helpful. They were spending so much time and energy teaching me, that is why 4.5 hours seemed life minutes and i was not giving up even after peeling off my asking and getting cramps thank you so much, this was the most memorable experience as it was my dream to climb since a long long time. In my hometown in India, we don't have a single bouldering place. I think I'm oversharing, but I'm just too happy this is better than literally everything you can do in london! Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: I can't comment on the climbing, as I only went there for a cup of tea. They have a little café in the reception area. The café sells hot drinks and a few snacks. The staff r friendly here. We sat inside, but there r only a couple of tables. It is situated on the site of the old vinyl factory. Nearby is a big dog statute (Nipper the dog). Fantastic experience: Organised my sons 7th birthday here, absolutely delighted with the service we received and the kids all had a fantastic fun time! Rob dealt with my booking from my initial query always through to the party day itself. He was fantastic, so organised and straight forward! The two instructors on the day were such fun, really engaged the kids. The party room is fantastic, a small climbing wall in the room, a great space for children to eat and play. I can’t recommend this place enough for climbing fun and a children party! We will definitely go back for more climbing adventures! I want to get on the walls myself now! Thanks to Rob and the team! Really pleased with the service and attention we received throughout.

Fantastic experience: Great location, great climbing walls. One of the best bouldering places I've been too. And I've been to a few of The Arch locations. Great atmosphere as well. Staff are super friendly. Is this place even real?

Fantastic experience: My kids come here regularly for the NIBAS course and climbing between sessions. Such a welcoming environment with super friendly owners and instructors - we're so pleased to have found this place. My eldest is now old enough to go and climb on her own and loves it here, having developed a real passion for climbing, in no small part due to the engaging and enthusiastic instructors. And I can rest happy knowing that she's in a safe, nurturing environment where the team will look out for her. There's a lovely atmosphere and the workspace is brilliant - perfect for watching/working/drinking one of their excellent coffees!

Fantastic experience: It is the best community you can find! Such a family, they have been able to create a genuine and warm environment were everyone can have a great quality time and feel welcome. They also offer a wide range of activities for both kids and adults, not just climbing sessions but also fitness classes. The Nest is the best!

Fantastic experience: We had my daughter's 8th birthday party on Sunday. 12 girls had a great time. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Room to have food and music in with no rush, the most relaxed atmosphere we have had for any of our kids parties. Would recommend highly.

Fantastic experience: First time I've been climbing. Was a bit apprehensive but the staff were very professional and easy to talk. Very relaxing seating area with coffee and game boards. The induction covered the key areas of safety and we stayed a further 2 hours after wards eager to climb and chilling in the gym. Looking to bring my boy iy when he's 5 and scout group too. I had a private 1:1 session with Sam who made sure I felt confident and safe and explained everything that a newbie needs to know, I'd highly recommend doing the same to people who want to try it out. Chloe booked me in and was very helpful. Staff is brilliant and they also have classes, great coffee and and a gym. Worth supporting as they are independent, great vibes and I'll be coming back!

Fantastic experience: Hi we took part in the climbing at the Nest≤with Olivia, which was great. Olivia took us through Health & Safety issues, and instructed on how we need to climb. Once we covered these we were able to start to test out what we had learn. As a grandma, I too joined in with my grandson. It was very positive experience and my grandson Craig cant wait to go back again. I think all that practise on his bunk bed, served him well. He can now come to the Nest and do real thing. Fantastic experience: Glad I managed to find this gem in Hayes. Very good facilities and a friendly atmosphere too. My two children love climbing and the membership option makes it costs effective. Apart from the climbing they have a gym area and and run some classes too.

Fantastic experience: Trying out all the climbing walls in the area before buying in bulk. This wall is different from the rest as it’s not by colour but by grade. I usually do V4-6 but these ones were a lot harder and more challenging - some really good routes! It’s smaller than most i’ve been to, but as the routes are challenging you find the hours pass by quickly. Chloe was absolutely amazing, showed us round the place and made us feel really welcome, amazing customer service - thank you Chloe!

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic introductory climbing session today. Staff are very friendly and polite. There is a gym upstairs with a small set of weights and other equipment. There is also a seating area in the opposite end of the building, if you want to work on your laptop and have a coffee. The area feels very modern and new. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: As a bit of a regular here I may be a bit biased. However this is by far my favorite gym in London. It may not be the biggest but the route setting here is great and ultra regular. this means the holds are always clean and you always have a new project. Setting is fun techy climbing with some modern bouldering thrown in. from VB to V8 Enough for the Boulder bro's and the trad dads. The intro course also looks pretty dope.

Fantastic experience: Excellent quality and varied route setting and even friendlier staff. As an intermediate climber i found this centre to be my favourite in London. An all round fantastic experience each time. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff, good music, reasonable pricing (£10 single entry [£8 concession], £45/36 membership + bundles), there’s a small but well-equipped gym, working space and studio for fitness classes. There are roughly 60 routes at any time, ranging from VB to V8 (as of 11/19), majority of them on the easier side (so beginner friendly!), but an advanced climber can keep themselves busy too (I’d say at least 15 V5+ routes). They get reset often (roughly one third of routes every week) and come in a variety of styles - balance, dyno, tiny holds, jumps, slopers, overhang, cave. And showers are nice! Bring a padlock if you’re a little paranoid about your possessions (it seems super safe even without it though).

Fantastic experience: Great place! Very convenient location and close to public transport. They have lots of different routes and change them every week. There is now different classes available in the evening from yoga to bhangra dance to boxing and they are good fun. Staff is great and always happy to help.

Fantastic experience: The Nest is a small, smart and well run start up bouldering gym / office space in Hayes. The wall has a range of styles including slab, overhang and a roof. To date the route setting has been a really good mix of problems that have been as entertaining as they were varied. The wall is overlooked by a small gym area with free weights, bikes and rowing machines. Also by an area with tables and chairs where you can work, eat or rest. There's another space that could be used for meetings where they also run events like yoga classes etc. Downstairs they have a couple of changing cubicles and some showers. I find it perfect for a quick lunch time burn to supplement my main evening sessions but whether this will be cost effective when the current discount price expires remains to be seen. Definitely worth checking out if you live or work locally. You'll certainly get a warm welcome from the friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: This is a really cool climbing /bouldering centre that has a gym, work / relaxation space and studio that has various classes. I loved it and whilst I was there grabbed a great coffee. I could come and spend the day here for just £10 which I thought was amazing value for money. Both Sam and Rob were both very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Although i've not gotten round to climbing yet, The Nest really is a great facility, owned and operated by two really friendly and welcoming guys. I use it primarily for the Gym, which is a great little functional training area and often go in to grab a coffee and use the shared workspace also, but i will be trying my hand at climbing shortly. As a resident of the development that this sits underneath, it really is a god send having it on our doorstep. Great work guys

Fantastic experience: A nice, friendly bouldering wall! The staff are all welcoming and give an update regarding Covid-19 if you haven't been recently. There's plenty of hand sanitiser around, and they sell chalk, snacks, coffee etc. They also provide visitor parking permits on request. Having had a long break in climbing I find that there is a good selection of beginner and lower grade routes to keep me occupied. The routes seem to be changed fairly regularly

Fantastic experience: Went a few weeks back with hubby and kids. We live local and did not even know it exists!!! It was very quiet... We were the only ones... Except for one guy! We had the area to ourselves so that was great fun! The staff members were extremely friendly, polite, helpful. One of them spent a while with us explaining how to climb etc, as obviously never done it before. A lovely, clean and fun place. It has all the necessary safety measures in place and allows for distancing if necessary. Will definitely be going back ASAP!!!

Fantastic experience: Really fantastic climbing gym with lots of different problems and styles for all levels. The staff are incredibly friendly and seem to know everyone by name, which I think goes a long way. Shoe rental and other items like chalk and tape are all really well priced. The wall changes weekly to keep interesting and varied. All round great!!

Fantastic experience: I went there because I missed a connection at Heathrow. It was a 45 minute walk from the hotel my airline booked for me. The gym, changing rooms and showers were clean. The person at the front desk (owner?) was friendly and the music was nice. I think the most important thing to say is that the gym is nicer than it looks. The routes are challenging and smart, and even those below my level (v4) weren't boring. I made it up every v4 i attempted, some fairly easily, some after a few tries, but every single one was satisfying. I made it up three v5 routes, and they were a lot more challenging, taking between 5 and 10 tries, although they never felt impossible to do. Which is what i really enjoyed about this gym - nothing was overly easy or difficult, a problem I run into when bouldering away my hometown gym in Canada. Definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I decided to give this place a try as it was local. I went as a complete beginner and decided to go for a introduction class with my wife. The class was around £25 each and was worth every penny. We had around 45 mins with instructor Sam who was very enthusiastic and a great teacher! I now come often but not only for climbing but to also use their work space area, I’ve even taken a couple classes they hold there and used their gym. I can’t fault a thing.
