OJ Gyms Cranbrook

Fantastic experience: Love this gym and feel very comfortable and happy attending. Alex is super helpful and always there to offer support or encouragement. I’ve been a member of a few gyms in the past and this is my favourite due to the good range of equipment and friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Have been training here for a year now. Has all the equipment you need, the feel round the gym is amazing, the staff are brilliant and everyone is so friendly! What is brilliant is it’s never to busy so you’re not waiting around for equipment like bigger commercial gyms. One of my favourite gyms!!

Fantastic experience: Oliver Joseph is the best gym around! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable. They have some fantastic personal trainers that will help you with, not only creating a workout plan but also with your nutrition too. There’s not a single member of staff that I wouldn’t recommend, they are all fantastic! My PT Charlie Hawkins is absolutely fantastic! He’s so supportive of me, we have so much fun during our sessions, while still working hard! If your not a member of OJ’s then what are you doing?!? Get yourself signed up!!

Fantastic experience: Way better than David Lloyd! 10x... No 100x better. Just... Better. I'd tell you to swap, but DL won't let you. Their accountants will hunt you down! All you DL customers are stuck, and can only stare on wistfully at the happy OJ members with their perfect physiques and shiny teeth.

Fantastic experience: Amazing local gym franchise in Devon with spots in Axminster, Sidmouth, Cranbrook and a brand new one in Honiton! I was at PureGym Exeter before heading to OJ in Cranbrook. What a change, the team at the Cranbrook gym make you feel so welcomed and part of the OJ community. Everyone chats and gets along, so far from what PureGym is! Brand new gym just opened up in Honiton as well but this OG Cranbrook gym will always have my heart ❤️

Fantastic experience: Really like the circuit training. Rob is a very motivational trainer and I particularly enjoy the outdoor sessions . It may be cold but you soon warm up no problem!

First time I’ve ever been somewhere where all the staff make an effort to speak to you and say hello when you come in, all the gym goers are so friendly and really helps my self confidence! I have personal training with Alex and he’s absolutely amazing! 10/10 recommend as a gym, for the amazing classes and the awesome staff and personal training!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Joseph Oliver gym since the first one opened just outside of Cranbrook. The equipment is varied and great quality. The PT staff are all friendly,knowledgeable and welcoming. You can mix your weight lifting and cardio with personal weight training programs and top HIT classes all part of the membership. Wouldn’t go anywhere else Absolutely great gym!!!!

Fantastic experience: A very friendly gym which has a community feel. I never feel out of place or feel that I am not good enough. The staff are all very informative and approachable and always keen to help if needed. From the moment I joined, I was welcoming and encouraged. The classes are hard work but most of all they are fun that you often forget how much work you have put in until you try to walk down the stairs to leave!! Special mentions for Alex, for his weekday morning circuits and for Rob, for his Saturday intense circuits (or Boot Camp, as I like to call it!!). I didn’t think I’d have the staying power or commitment to keep attending a gym but at Oliver Joseph , I have found more than just a gym, I’ve found friends, support and encouragement, and a gym where I belong and don’t feel out of place in. I’d highly recommend Oliver Joseph Gym in Cranbrook.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym, I started at Puregym in January and never felt fully comfortable there. Moved to Oliver Joseph Cranbrook gym about 6 weeks ago, its friendly, people actually talk to you but at the same time let you get on with what you’re doing, the staff are nice and happy to help if you need it. They’ve got all the equipment you need and I’ve not once had to wait or had someone loitering around me waiting for me to finish. Best move I ever made and I look forward to going every time.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy coming to this gym as everyone is so friendly and always speaks to you. I have some confidence issues when going to a gym so this makes it much easier for me to attend. I had a good induction and know that should I have any questions, I know where to go to ask for advice. Great value for money and I feel happier that I am supporting a local business rather than a generic big corporate business.

Fantastic experience: This gym is by far the best I have ever been to. The equipment is great, the classes are fantastic especially Tuesday and Friday with JESS and spinning with CASEY on Thursdays. OLLIES PT sessions are spot on for me and my partner and sets us up right for the week. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome and supporting us on our journey to get fit!
