Fantastic experience: I did a deep tissue massage with Rohan and that was by far the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever gotten. I was hoping it would be someone who genuinely understood the body anatomy and exercise science, and Rohan did not disappoint at all. He identified the key triggers to the problematic muscles and ironed them out (quite literally) effectively. I almost wish I lived in London as this is the type of treatment you need if you are constantly under body stress from exercise and sports. Well done!

The actual venue was very cool, clean and felt premium. I received pretty much the full experience, massage, cupping and the metal scraping thing. The service was very pleasant, felt professional and I was completely comfortable the whole time. My injury felt much better right after, and I’m still in the progress of recovering so it hasn’t completely gone away, but I have no dealt it still helped me a ton. But yeah, 10/10 would recommend

Negative experience: I live in the building next door to Dr.Stretch. The owners of Dr.Stretch pose as a family business but take no issue destroying the daily lives of families in the neighbourhood. I am writing this review after I got woken up on a Sunday morning at 9:30 by extremely loud music. After calling the gym to ask to turn it off they dropped the call without saying a word and kept the music playing. But Dr.Stretch is no stranger to this practice. Weekdays and weekends be it early mornings (7AM?!?!?) or evenings Dr.Stretch is always there to make your life hell by constantly disturbing your sleep, rest, work and enjoyment of home with loud music, screaming and the never-ending sound of the gym equipment. The compound effect of which leaves an immeasurable mental health toll on all affected. Everyone who asks them to stop is met with entitled aggression and verbal abuse, offensive gesturing and retaliation. Recently, to take it one step further, the gym owners have started using sound disturbance as a form of personal vendetta against everyone who tries to report them to relevant authorities. On top of all this, one of the gym members has recently challenged me to a fight (?!?!?) after I told him that the loud music coming out of the gym on Sunday at 11AM is disturbing my enjoyment of home. My wife described that situation in her review to which the gym owners replied “Only thing we can do is revoke access to them in the future”. They verbally told her the same on the day, when they came to talk to us, but instead of apologizing, they ended up trying to guilt trip her for leaving a bad review. As the gym owners haven’t let us finish what we were telling them then I will reply here: “It is not our fault that your gym member was aggressively challenging me to a fight. It is the culture that you have instilled in your gym that has led to this situation happening ergo your fault”. Long story short the aforementioned member’s access is not revoked and he is still using the gym like nothing happened. I anticipate that the gym owners will say I am “attacking their family business” as they have done in response to my wife’s review. In reality, for months we have tried all forms of communication with them and explained all of the points above and how they affect OUR family. But based on those conversations nothing but more disturbance has been done from the gym owners' side. In short, by using the services of Dr.Stretch you will be supporting a business that brings nothing but pain to the local community. This review will be up until the facts described above change.

Fantastic experience: This gym in Islington is great! I booked an injury assessment to assess some foot pain that had been bothering me for a while and followed up with a sports massage. The massage was fantastic, and I was given strength exercises to work on. I would highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: I live in the building next door - the owners of Dr Stretch have been extremely verbally abusive to me and my partner on multiple occasions in response to our requests to keep the consistent noise pollution down. They make loud sounds or play music from as early as 7:30 on weekdays and weekends. When we tried to speak to them politely, we were met with aggression, abuse and threats. Today one of the members of Dr Stretch reached a new low - again, when we asked to keep the noise down on a Sunday he brutally verbally abused us, took photos of us in our private balcony, and threatened my partner to beat him up. Sharing this so you know what kind of people are behind this place. Aggression, disrespect, threats and lack of consideration for the local community.
