Following the government announcement on 20.03.2020, All the locations we operate from have been closed, however we are delivering daily group sessions virtually online! It is important to stay active during this uncertain time- fitness is proven to have a positive effect on both physical and mental health so please try to stay active in anyway you can. Please check our timetable and join us online! 4 Core Fitness Strength Training is designed to build your abdominal strength & core stability. All our online sessions deliver a 30 min body weight HIIT session and 30 min medicine ball training. If you don't have a medicine ball we can suggest house-hold alternatives… just ask! Fantastic experience: An amazing experience all round. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly when to push me for optimum results. He believed in my potential when I never did. He was always at the end of a phonecall for extra support and motivation. He passion and dedication for his clients really shone through and are second to none. Thank you Tom for all your help and patience with me, I cannot wait to start again very soon!

Fantastic experience: John suffered a stroke 5 years ago. As a result, he now has right sided weakness. Therefore, is essential for John to exercise in order to maintain mobility, gain strength and improve balance. Tom is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. John feels lucky to have found him. Tom listens and analyses Johns needs. He adapts the sessions to make the exercises personal. Every session is different and Tom pushes John to achieve, whilst always being conscious to keep him safe. Tom approaches each session with enthusiasm and this is motivational for John. John really enjoys the PT sessions, he has to work hard but it’s always a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a personal trainer who could be flexible with daytime hours as that's the only time I could train. I wanted to feel stronger and tone up. I tried a few, but Tom was by far the most knowledgeable and very flexible to suit my hours. His online sessions were perfect for in between our personal training sessions to do at home. So if ever I couldn't make it, I could still catch up on exercise. He wasn't just making me do the exercises, he also explained why we did them and what it was targeting. So I learned a lot. He also introduced me to new techniques, which I really enjoyed and after a bad experience with kettlebells in the past, he made me see the benefits of it and get the technique down. Now I actually enjoy it. The results I saw were very much around strength. I felt stronger and more agile with lots more energy. I would recommend Tom to anyone who is ready to take their exercise seriously and push themselves to a new level.

Fantastic experience: This is a great class if you want to improve your all round fitness. You can make it as intense as you want, and really is suitable for all abilities, even when you are injured. I have trained with Tom for many years and he really is the best! His knowledge of the human body and what it can do is incredibly useful when it comes to finding the best exercise for your body, and he even manages to do that in a class full of other people. Even if you've never exercised before, this is the place to get you started and keep you going.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Tom and Dom for the last 8 months - the first time I have consistently and regularly exercised. The classes are challenging and fun. Results - definitely stronger and generally have a lot more energy. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I first heard about ProTom Fitness/4 Core Fitness when attending a talk given by Bristol based adventure racer Nick Gracie and was intrigued to hear Nick say that attending Tom's classes had helped his running and to be injury free. I've now been attending classes for over 2 years and it's been great. The classes are hard but well pitched and varied, and importantly also hugely enjoyable; Dom, Tom and the other instructors are fair and encouraging, helping you get the best from yourself in every class. I feel that the classes have helped my running as well as my overall fitness and conditioning. I've also recently been having some individual PT sessions with Dom as I've been injured - these sessions have also been excellent with Dom pitching each session perfectly, and patiently encouraging me and supporting my recovery and rehab. I highly recommend all that they do!

Fantastic experience: The best fitness in town - an hour of beasting but you feel brilliant afterwards and in only 4 weeks you'll notice the change in your figure.

Fantastic experience: I joined kickboxing class with Tom in Clifton. I like his no nonsense approach; friendly enough yet professional. You get just enough one-on-one time to learn what you need to learn and then you can go off and practice without feeling like you are in the spotlight all the time. Tom is very passionate about what he does and genuinely wants you to learn the proper techniques, (I found that is hardly ever the case with the high-street gyms) He mixes things up a lot so it never gets boring. I might consider taking up another class, maybe on the Welsh back with the other guys from Pro Tom Fitness and ditching the gym altogether. Paying for one to one session would be a bit expensive, so group personal training is a great alternative.

Fantastic experience: Bristol NEW 7 mins ago . I have attended the Pro Tom Fitness kickboxing sessions for several months and I am really impressed by the quality and standards of the training. Tom Lakos and his team manage to provide great technical personal training in a fun environment. Thus everyone who attends classes with Tom, Dominic and Peter gain fast fitness advantages while learning new skills. The level of personal training and technical fitness knowledge that pro Tom Fitness employs is exemplary

Fantastic experience: I've been attending the ProTom kickboxing sessions in Redland for a few weeks now and I've been impressed with the standard of training on offer. Tom manages to create a fun and friendly atmosphere while not compromising on the high intensity of the classes so it's right up my street!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Abdomimax in Clifton, Bristol now for over 1 year and it has been brilliant. I am a keen runner and cyclist and it has really improved my strength and conditioning and kept me injury free throughout that time. However the best thing about the classes are that they are really fun and Tom and the other trainers work you really hard. I tend to do around 10 hours training a week and the 1 hour at Abdomimax is always my most enjoyable session and the most productive. Definitely worth a try for any runners or cyclists looking for a great strength session.
