Fantastic experience: I have been having manual lymphatic drainage massages here since abdominal surgery 4 weeks ago. It has had a huge impact on the swelling, and you can see the areas go down by the end of the session. The therapist, Lisa Irvins, is incredible, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and so easy to talk to. I look forward to each session.

I’ve been to see them for various therapies from during my marathon training a few years ago, all the way through to pregnancy related issues. Each and every time they’ve sourced the problem, and given me a thorough assessment, therapies and physio exercises to help. I would highly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: Went to Lisa with a old sporting injury. Lisa assesd it thoroughly, managed to diagnose the issue and then treated it with a variety of hands on techniques. Rehabilitation exercises were provided for me to continue my recovery outside of the clinic and after a couple of sessions with Lisa and my rehab plan, my pain is subsiding. Highly recommend the clinc, they are friendly, professional and knowledgable.

Fantastic experience: Sought help from Boardmans after getting nowhere with NHS pathways. Lisa was able to identify what the problem was within a matter of minutes and where the pain was coming from. I was nervous at first but following the initial consultation and massage I couldn’t believe what a difference I felt! Lisa also emailed some physio exercises for me to do at home between appointments to ease the pain. Would highly recommend Boardmans for their professionalism & listening and actually helping when it felt like no one else would!

Fantastic experience: I recently started running and quickly found that I had picked up an injury to both knees which meant I couldn’t manage the stairs, let alone run! Four days after seeing Abi and I’ve been able to get back outside today. The treatment has really helped with both pain and mobility, and the aftercare advice for stretches and exercises has been great!

Fantastic experience: I suffered a lower back muscular issue and was in constant pain and after a recommendation from a colleague, I booked a consultation with Abi and after going through my symptoms in detail began work on my back with particular work on the lower back area. After an hour of massaging I felt some instant relief, the area of my lower back was tender for a couple of days after. I can now move freely and have made a follow up consultation to hopefully get me back to full fitness.

Fantastic experience: As a creaky, almost 50 year old weightlifter, boardmans and Holly in particular have been transformative for me. My tight and knotted muscles are gradually gaining strength and flexibility, the back pain I first went to them for hasn't returned either. Very pleased with the results.

At my last appointment she worked on my sprained wrist too. Nothing is too much trouble. With a lovely friendly nature, you’re always at ease, feeling comfortable the whole time. I won’t hesitate in recommending her to anyone I know in the future.

Fantastic experience: Had a number of injury treatment sessions with Juliette and it massively helped my speed up the recovery period. Injury consisted of damage to various knee tendons (mainly ACL) and the treatments were helpful in supporting the surrounding muscles. She was very knowledgeable and enjoyed the random chats and steers on how to best target muscle groups for reinforcement. Going back in a month for a check up

Fantastic experience: I've been using Boardman's for sports massages over the past 2 years and wish I could give them higher than 5 stars. All the therapists are highly trained, friendly and experts at what they do. They always carry out a short consultation before the massage to gauge what is troubling you before advising what they will do to help correct the problem. They also give advise on stretches, etc, that will help prevent the problems reoccurring. Looking forward to my next massage!

Fantastic experience: Friendly and professional service. I have been seeing Lisa fortnightly to loosen up my legs for the past 3 years. The NHS can not sort my knees out as I am to young.... The pain causes me to walk funny which then makes my muscles knot up. I always feel 10 years younger after the knots are worked out.. I can not recommend Lisa and her team enough.. Vist and you won't be disappointed with your treatment.
