Fantastic experience: Out dated equipment but still clean and well kept. Swimming pool, dry and wet saunas special membership at £5 til end of January then £20 after that bargin when you get to use all facilities plus classes

Fantastic experience: Started going here a couple weeks ago for personal training sessions with Mike. He's helped me ease back in to training after a long break recovering from COVID. Mike's the nicest guy you'll meet and has a very balanced and healthy approach to fitness. He's very motivating and a bank of knowledge so highly recommend him as a PT. Since then I've become a member! Emma & Matt are lovely people, they're encouraging and friendly and really helpful too..and of course lovely pooch Marbles just makes the gym so much more fun to train in :) Clean, well equipped and a great location in town -wouldn't go anywhere else! :)

Fantastic experience: After training at various gyms in the area this one is the best. Amazing staff. Very clean and they have the best little mascot running around (Marbles the staff) caters for everyone, loud music and just all round good vibes.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best gym ive been too, its got an old school vibe which for me is what i look for, its got a good atmosphere, the staff are brill and very knowledgeable and will help and advise if you seek it, the people that use the gym are friendly, good equipment and have a good selection of waights and all facilities are cleaned to a good standard, also has its own carpark.

Fantastic experience: I first met Emma at the beginning of lockdown March 2020, I was out walking 6 weeks after my 2nd knee replacement op. We spoke in the street outside the gym, as the idiotic restrictions meant that gyms were closed. I liked Emma from the moment I met her, she was kind, compassionate and so understanding. Once the gyms opened I plucked up the courage to contact Emma and have not looked back. She asked what my goals were, they were simple really, get back to spinning and be flexible and strong enough to get myself off the floor and move with ease. I have stayed with Emma for 2 years now and have exceeded everything, I am fitter, healthier, stronger (in mind & body) and can do spinning, get up off the floor and live a normal mobile life. It was never about aesthetics, however 1 stone lighter, massive inch loss and a healthy mind. If you want a personal trainer who understands you, doesn't kill you so you won't go back, has a completely safe exercise plan, structured just for you, so you eventually enjoy it, I can wholeheartedly recommended not only Emma but Everest Gym. You may walk in and think you feel intimidated but no, in the two years I have had nothing but kindness and support. Thank you

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym i’ve been to. Visit every time when I’m on leave due to the wide range of machines, weights and equipment that I haven’t seen in commercial gyms. Friendly staff and take time to speak to everyone to make you feel at home. Would recommend to anyone whether you are starting the gym or if you’re seeking a new one.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start……the place is superb!! The most energetic, welcoming, friendly and incredibly equipped gym I’ve ever been to. There’s none of the mainstream cheap, silver/grey generic equipment that most places use. The equipment is amazing and some of it has real heritage to it too. The place is immaculately clean, there’s always someone nearby to offer help and advice and the staff and owners go to incredible lengths to genuinely make you feel welcome. I have Matt (the owner) as my personal fitness instructor and I’d never use anyone else!! He brings laughs and hard work together and makes the whole session really comfortable as well as pushing me as he should. I can’t praise the place enough. I drive 18miles each way (4 x a week) from Colchester to Sudbury and I pass quite a few gyms in Essex to get to them. I simply won’t use any other gym. I guarantee that once you meet the team, see the equipment and get a feel for the place….you too will become part of the Everest Gym family…..that’s exactly what it feels like - being part of a fitness family. The owners wife Emma is a fitness and running guru…..long distance/marathon runner and vegan advocate and advisor as well. The head of security (Marbles the staff - aka “Marbles, Marbles, Marbles”) always greets you with a warm welcome too. Don’t change a thing, keep doing what you’re doing!! The other options in Sudbury are terrible in comparison. Nothing but love and respect to you all! X
