Fantastic experience: The WP have massively helped me over the last few months with strengthening my body and becoming stronger! They don’t just help with building strength but also with diet and nutrition advice too. I signed up to be part of the nutrition programme for 3 months as there was so much dietary advice out there, it can easily become overwhelming. When Amy said that the Warrior Programme was offering a nutrition coaching, I thought this could be the perfect platform to get straight answers to the questions that I had from a very knowledgeable person. Since starting the process... • I have added probiotic and prebiotics pills to my diet and understand when to take them and what they do. • I eat a natural probiotic everyday (sauerkraut – a new experience for me!) • I eat salmon at least once a week which was a big no go area, I have never had fish in my diet. • I eat more protein, going from around 20g to 100g a day • Having ginger and turmeric tea daily • Drinking more water. I have lost weight, built strength, and also noticed improvement in my skin! The WP have my achieve what I wanted to achieve. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Meg has been knowledgeable, very understanding and always managing to avoid being patronising. I have had one of my hardest years work wise and I’m very grateful that no matter how low on the way in I have left every session on a high. I leave with a good base to carry on with other exercises and activities and a built in habit of training weekly.
Fantastic experience: I have been working with Meg for over a year and recommend her and the programme. I started the Warrior Programme to help with knee pain and build strength. I've achieved this and more, including improving posture. During lockdown Meg has really helped me with virtually sessions and rehabilitation following a shoulder injury
Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed training with the Warrior Programme, Dani is an excellent personal trainer and I have made great progress in my strength, mobility and confidence. I was experiencing a lot of shoulder and neck pain due to desk work and this has almost disappeared, I am also now working towards handstands which I would never have thought I could do! Fantastic experience: It's no secret that I put on a lot of weight whilst pregnant, 5 stone in total I lost a lot initially very easily but then I couldn't shift anymore when I got to 12 stone. I seeked help and guidance from The Warrior Programme. Happy to say I exceeded my target of getting to 10 stone in just 12 weeks All of this was done is a healthy and sustainable way. Whilst loosing weight I am still exclusively breastfeeding my baby, who has gorgeous chubby thighs and rolls! She's growing whilst I'm shrinking! Fantastic experience: I've been training with the Warrior Programme for the last 6 months and the results speak for themselves - I'm now stronger and more consistent than I've ever been! All the staff are super friendly and my trainer, Meg, has been awesome throughout. She instinctively knows when to push me and when not to. She's also great company :) Highly recommended
Fantastic experience: I've had an amazing experience at the Warrior Gym - with 2-3 sessions a week in the gym and/or online over the past 18 months. I've developed strength and confidence, and my well-being and health has improved exponentially. The trainers and atmosphere are professional, supportive and welcoming. I've never been a "sporty person" but now I'm lifting weights and doing exercises I never thought I could - especially after having had spinal surgery just two years ago. Huge thanks to Dani, Amy and the Warrior team!
Fantastic experience: I have been training with the Warrior Programme for around a year and a half and they are fantastic. Dani is a great trainer who listens to my needs and goals and helps me to train effectively. She has a great understanding of issues that can impact training and how to overcome them and, on a personal level, is good fun to train with. I have made incredible progress with my strength, mobility and general fitness level since I started training with the Warrior Programme.
Fantastic experience: I’ve just completed six months training twice a week with Meg and Dani – and have immediately signed up for another six months. I’m soooo glad I took the plunge! I feel fitter and stronger than I have in years, I’ve more energy and my aches and pains are a thing of the past. As a 45 year old professional, it was over 10 years since I had set foot in a gym, I had spent several stressful years in a high pressure job living on caffeine, sugar and alcohol, and I had no clue where to start in terms of improving my health and fitness. I had worked with a couple of great PTs in the past and knew it was probably what I needed to invest in – but I was overwhelmed, scared, and unsure where to go for help. I got in touch with Amy having found Warrior training on line. As I filled in the (very thought provoking!) questionnaire, I felt even more scared! I needn’t have worried. Amy was very friendly and approachable, and really organised in her approach. She was totally dismissive (in a good way!) of my fears and concerns – I was worried I had left it all too late, and when I asked Amy how old ‘too old’ might be her answer of ‘well, maybe if you were 95 I’d say perhaps don’t bother?’ reassured me I was in the right place! Amy and her team are genuinely passionate about helping people be their best, and the emphasis is on being strong and healthy. These are real people, who understand real life – I am loving working with Meg and Dani, they inspire and encourage me, we have a laugh and they make it fun. I’m more of a night owl than morning lark, and if I can get up and be at the gym for 7am, these folks are clearly doing something right!
Fantastic experience: I have found working with Danni a really positive experience. She has helped massively with my posture and strength in lots of areas especially my back. Definately helped to change the way I feel about myself and my body and given me more confidence generally. I feel loads stronger and more aware of how I hold myself. It's been a really worthwhile four months and I will be sad to leave.
Fantastic experience: The Warrior Programme has changed my outlook on training. Like most looking for a gym/personal trainer I was in it for losing some weight and looking better in my clothes (which has happened), but I wasn't expecting to change my goals so rapidly to focusing on getting stronger and as a result, I have pushed myself further than I thought I could. The bespoke one on one training ensures that sessions are flexible and adapt to changes in my outlook and lifestyle. The trainers are knowledgeable and keep each session interesting and challenging. The continued support through lots of different channels (face to face, Facebook, email etc.) and opportunities to mark your progress enables you to reflect on how far you've come. I cannot recommend the programme enough.
Fantastic experience: I joined The Warrior Programme after a thorough consultation with Amy and have been working with Kes ever since. The programme works because its built around you. It empowers you, encouraging you to learn and develop in a safe and supportive environment, with skilled trainers like Kes. Kes is incredible to say the least. She is a PT who clearly understands my aims, how to motivate me, and to help me get the results I have been seeking elsewhere for years! I am stronger, fitter and more confident in my body because of Kes.
Fantastic experience: I was terrified of going to a gym, but Amy was super welcoming and matched me with the awesone Kes as my trainer. She's really supportive, helps me set goals and sets a really good bance between encouraging me to try stuff and taking it back a step so I always feel successful. I actually love going to the gym now, and I even took up running as well!

Fantastic experience: I started working with Amy as I suffered from lower back and shoulder pain and poor posture caused by sitting at a desk all day. Within a few months this had improved dramatically. We have now moved on to strengthening other areas, there is no end to the variety! last week I spent two full days digging in the garden with no pain, previously this would have been impossible. I have no hesitation in recommending Amy and the team, she operates a personal and friendly environment with plenty of support and lots of variety.

Fantastic experience: Before I started training with the WP I felt completely weak and sluggish. Over the 12 weeks I trained with Kes I became not only stronger, but more flexible, more agile and surprisingly a whole lot less clumsy! Fantastic experience: Iv loved working with Kes and will miss our Tuesday sessions but I’m excited to be able go knowing what I need to be doing and that I can actually do it now. Fantastic experience: I’m really enjoying my sessions at the Warrior Gym - it’s been brilliant to just come and get a sweat on and really push myself, and it’s been great to learn there are things I can do that I would never even considered before! I actually look forward to exercise even at the end of a hard day at work - and that's something I never thought I'd say! Kes has been fab to work with and I’ve really appreciated her help with nutrition and setting achievable goals for the week (not to mention her patience when I struggle to get motivated between sessions!). Fantastic experience: Amy and her team at the Warrior Gym is the gym that I've been looking for all my life. I've no interest in endless rows of treadmills and stationary bikes hooked up to TV screens. I wanted somewhere I could learn to strength train properly with a focus on functional movement to maximise health and performance. The Warrior Gym ticks all the boxes several times over. Training sessions with Meg are a highlight of my week. Always fun, always challenging and so much variation in the movement patterns we work on to open my eyes to future possibilities. Meg nails it every time. Next up, perfecting my handstand.
Fantastic experience: I have been working with Amy for 5 weeks now, and have felt more of a transformation in my mind and body than I have done in a long time. Working with Amy as my trainer and mentor (as a PT myself), she has taught me things you just don't learn in class! Fantastic experience: Amy is more than your typical personal trainer - the team really care about you as an individual and coach you to be the best you can be. It is a very holistic approach and you are supported to change and improve many areas of your life and not just how much you can lift. I have worked with Amy after having my first baby, and then again after having my twins - the training has restored my core and my confidence!

Fantastic experience: Testimonial for Amy Newton – The Warrior Programme Having recently spent some time with Amy I just wanted to explain how I have benefited from the experience. Like most of us, in terms of our fitness, we read blogs, we read magazines, we see things on television all to help us get fitter. But actually how do we get nearer the truth? I have learned that sometimes in life we get it wrong and that’s why I now turn to experts who have a proven track record. Amy is one of those people. When I first arrived Amy asked me what I wanted from the session and I liked this approach. There were two aspects that I wanted to understand which were how to stretch properly and how to build core strength. You see I walk and run regularly but didn’t know how effective this was. Amy immediately showed me a simple piece of apparatus, a roller, and showed me how to use it to untangle and relax my core muscle groups. This I purchased immediately after the session. Amy then showed me some simple exercises to help my core strength. Although simple I didn’t find them easy initially but of course as I practice this is improving. I have also found that my balance is improving. Amy also links strength of body with the mind and healthy choices and for anyone leading a life that involves a lot of sitting and correspondingly little exercise the benefits of her ‘Warrior Programme’ could be life changing. If you want someone that really cares for her clients and won’t give up on them. Who will instil habits and disciplines that make you stronger, fitter and more confident in life and business then I would not hesitate to ask Amy for help. Fantastic experience: Amy is an excellent personal trainer. She really understands what sitting too long at a desk does to your body and how to make things better. Amy works with humour and enthusiasm, her sessions are bespoke for you and always different (so you don't get bored) and she gets results. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I came to a taster session with Amy as my health has been suffering recently. I've been feeling the pressure of running my business and selling my house and as a result haven't been prioritising my own health or fitness. I've put on weight, have been feeling sluggish, heavy and have fallen into the trap of eating too much junk and drinking too much wine and it's taking it's toll on my body! I know Amy works with busy female business owners so was interested to see how she could help. I felt like Amy really understood my challenges, without judging my (poor!) choices or patronising me. Rather than tell me stuff I already know - but haven't got the motivation/time/inclination to implement, we worked though some very workable, practical solutions together and she helped me understand some things about why I feel how I do and why I'm not doing anything about it! It was a real game-changer for me, and her approach is very different to anyone I've worked with before. She helped me understand my mind, and how what's going on in my head is a potential barrier to what's happening with my body. I'm excited to learn more about how my brain is controlling my barriers and techniques to help it all come together. I would say to anyone who's thinking about going to a session with Amy, she is genuinely different to anyone else you may work with. Her passion for helping people is clear from when you first meet her and you'll learn how your health and wellbeing goes much deeper than just food and exercise. She looks at the bigger picture, listens to your challenges and helps you find a solution which works for you, around them, rather than dismissing them and giving you a 'one size fits all' solution. It's genuinely refreshing to find a fitness professional who cares more about how you feel and function, rather than what you look like.
Fantastic experience: Friday 10th March 2017 Testimonial for: Amy Newton, The Warrior Programme Dear Amy, Following a weekend retreat I attended in Dartmouth last October, I signed up with you for a 3 month Warrior Programme which I am just completing. I committed to 2 sessinons with you a week for this period, except for when my job would not allow this to happen, as I was travelling. The whole experience for me has been very eye opening in a personal sense as well as seeing my body change and what it can now do! I didn’t think it would be possibet to get stronger and leaner without changing shape drastically. I have been provded wrong, I can now lift more than my body weight by a considerable amount and have actually decreased in size. As well as this my overall fitness, posture and the aches and pains I did have, have diminished. I have learnt a lot about myself, nutrition and how to feel good and more confident from the insde out through working with you. Amy is an amazing trainer and I have found working with her fun and inspirational! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a PT, as she is more than this. Fantastic experience: Amy is a great personal trainer. Her approach is well thought out and refreshing. I have been to several personal trainers before, none with a level of knowledge even close to Amy's. It is great to work with someone that is so happy to explain and educate whilst pushing you to achieve results. Amy has a very friendly and down to earth style and is able to identify and help with areas of weakness that we all have, to ensure that we are able to operate at a high level. I would thoroughly recommend that someone who is serious about their health and fitness should speak to Amy.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Amy a couple of months ago with the intention of improving my core strength and flexibility as a runner. Despite some misgivings - I am very definitely not a gym and weights person - I've really enjoyed it and am already seeing real benefits. Amy is fun, supportive and above all great at what she does - regularly tailoring sessions to my needs that particular week. In short, it's nothing like I imagined "personal training" would be. I'd happily recommend Amy to anyone - whatever their current state of fitness.
Fantastic experience: As a Chiropractor and healer, I spend all my days standing at a treatment table and focusing on what others need to feel well. After a 3 month break from regular exercise, after a year of regular high intensity and heavy weighted one on one training sessions, my body was feeling tight, achey and I was unsure where to turn. Amy quickly noticed what my body needed. She trains in a gentle, intuitive way, but with a style that still gets you motivated, so you can push yourself out of your comfort zone to gain the results. She's changed the stereotype view I had of PT's and enabled me to see that it can be nourishing but empowering, all at the same time. I've had just 4 sessions with her and I already feel a huge change in my whole being and have felt my confidence begin to return, knowing that I hadn't got completely and totally unfit ! Combined with some yoga outside of her sessions, I feel I've really found what works for my body and mind. Amy encourages and coaches. She really is a natural.
