Fantastic experience: I did a 10 week training with Kalvin. I was looking for someone to get me used to strength training. Kalvin was incredibly helpful and very encouraging. Each session was definitely a workout. I felt more and more confident.

Fantastic experience: I always said I hated the gym and never lasted more than a few weeks, but at 30 I decided to give it another go. My aim was to build strength 1st and if I lost some weight then that was a bonus. I had no clue what I was doing with weights and was using Instagram for guidance, but was worried I'd injure myself with bad form. I was also too intimidated to actually go near any of the free weights! I started having sessions with Kalvin once a month to build my confidence up, have my form checked and corrected, and expand my knowledge on how to target different muscle groups and optimise my workouts! He's been fantastic. Understanding my goals and building the sessions to fit me. My jelly legs from a few squats improved dramatically with Kalvin's help. Despite the occassional red and sweaty faced death stares he got from me, I always found the sessions fun, engaging, and felt I'd accomplished something new each time. My progress from just 1 session a month and implementing what I've learnt into my workouts between sessions is thanks to Kalvin making the gym accessible to a girl who used to be too scared and clueless to go near the weights with all those muscly men! Thanks for all the help!

Fantastic experience: Looking in the mirror I saw a 59 year old bloke, 2 stone overweight with a sedentary lifestyle eating a relatively poor diet and drinking too much beer. 2 years later, I'm 2 stone lighter eating a healthy diet (still enjoying the odd pint) and fitter than I've ever been. Fantastic experience: Rowing is boring. That’s what people say, but I think what they really mean is it’s hard. Physically it’s hard. Mentally it’s harder. Ali doesn’t make it easy but you don’t want him to. What he does is make things interesting, fun and appropriately challenging. He knows where you are at and can judge a session very well. I think he can do this because he cares enough to get to know you as a rower, athlete and person. That’s his secret sauce. As a good indoor tower himself he can ‘walk the walk’ which helps to. I have worked with Ali for about 2 years and am in a lot better shape because of it. It’s been a tough period for me personally and my health and fitness could easily have fallen by the wayside. Alis’s patience, support and knowledge has helped me get through some tough times and come out the other side stronger. I look forward to more sessions together over the next 2 years and beyond. I fully recommend him to you.
Positive experience: Ali’s training is not a run of the mill, bench and bicep’s cookie cutter-programme to ‘make you look like Arnold in 3 weeks!’. What Ali has delivered to me is a training package that examines and tests the foundations of my performance: muscular-skeletal strength, cardiovascular endurance, and the under-appreciate angle of mental resilience to stress and strain. The sessions testing and developing these pillars have been valuable in progressing me further toward a personal goal of joining the Military. Ali and his team of PT’s have my personal reccomendatuon, and I am certain that each offers a slightly different angle towards any goal you might have. The SEAL PT’s are professional, friendly and work hard with their clients to achieve physical and mental excellence in multiple domains.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ali for a few months now and I am really enjoying it. I am a type 1 Diabetic and Ali makes me feel confident to train with so much support and encouragement. He always checks in with how my sugar levels are doing and changes exercises up to accommodate them. This really is the difference between him and other trainers! He cares! We do a range of exercises to target both my cardio and strength training and I love the mix up, he truly gets the best out of me and dare I saw we have fun doing it! He is a genuinely lovely person and I enjoy my sessions with him. I also I want to give some very high praise to Kalvin. On the occasions I haven’t been able to train with Ali, Kalvin has taken the session and he is another incredible trainer. He always makes the session fun and is very good at pushing me to reach my full potential (even when I don’t think I can do it). He has great knowledge and a great guy to train with!
Fantastic experience: I've been training with Kirsty for a few years now. My original aim was to regain my fitness after having not trained or worked out for a number of years. However, after only a few sessions, I learnt to move and challenge my body in ways I never had before. With Kirsty's enthusiasm, knowledge and drive to push me in ways I probably wouldn't have if I was training alone I've notice changes not only physically; I'm stronger and faster then I ever was, but mentally also. Kirsty's sessions are a combination of strength, cardio and conditioning, where no session and is same and every session I feel like I've worked hard! She has given me the confidence not only to workout alone in the gym but has given me the tools to be able to be able to plan my own sessions. She has pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me that fitness is more then just aesthetics. She's worked with me through injury and as well when I have been fasting, which has been brilliant. Working with kirsty has created a community which I have really enjoyed as I never felt confident in the gym and she has pushed me out my comfort zone, by taking part in running and rowing challenges that I would never have done alone. And with Kirsty's support and knowledge I am continually improving in my fitness journey.
Fantastic experience: I had been trying to lose weight and become healthier by myself for some time with no success - and then I decided to take the leap and get a PT. I had luckily bumped into Kryssi who I instantly clicked with and my fitness journey finally started. Kryssi has been amazing at helping me to achieve my goals, and has provided so much structure to my fitness plan. I needed someone to understand what my current fitness levels were, and provide me with realistic and achievable goals which Kryssi definitely did. I really look forward to our sessions and I never thought I would enjoy exercising! Even outside our sessions kryssi always check in with me to see how I’m doing, and keeps me motivated. Kryssi is super organised and always sends me our workout plans with pics/videos/instructions. She sets me little challenges so I can compete with myself and this really helps me achieve the best I can in the gym. My nutrition was quite poor beforehand and Kryssi has spent so much time with me to help support me in choosing healthier and better food options. She designated a whole session to understanding food options and I really appreciated this as no one has done this before with me. She also helps keep me on track by following my MyFitnessPal account and giving me ideas with food when I am stuck. My mental health and well-being has been so much better since this session, particularly as food can be so stressful for me when trying to get fit. I feel so much more active and alert and this is massively down to the learning I achieved through our sessions. I’ve only done 10 weeks so far but I’m already half way there to my target weight ! Really looking forward to where Kryssi can elevate my fitness levels to!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Kirsty since early 2020. We managed a few months training in the gym before the pandemic hit, but even in that short space of time Kirsty had made me feel comfortable and motivated enough to make me want to continue our sessions via Zoom and outdoor workouts throughout the lockdowns. She’s incredibly patient and supportive and has tailored my workouts to ensure I can keep training through various, and continued, mobility issues. My goal was to improve my overall health, fitness and strength and Kirsty has helped me to achieve that in a really fun but focused way. Training with her has shown me what I can really do when I push myself that little bit harder and push myself outside of my comfort zone. I would never have entered a rowing competition or a Wolf Run (best day ever!!!) without Kirsty’s encouragement! Although I was initially nervous to have PT, I can now say that, without doubt, booking that first session with Kirsty was one of the best decisions I’ve made!
Fantastic experience: I am a 79 year old man who has been coming to see Ali once a week for the past nine months. The exercises that I have been doing are all individually tailored to me by Ali, and as a result I have improved my posture, my general level of fitness and my lung capacity. It can be hard work and can make you puff, but it is good to compare how I am now with how I was when I started. This is particularly so with the rowing machine, where it is very eaasy to compare my times now with those when I started. I'm very pleased with the results and because each week is different I never get bored and continue to look forward to going each week.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Kirsty for almost two years and I’ve never been happier with my fitness level as I am now. Kirsty is just brilliant, every session is different and it challenges you in a way that makes you feel empowered and motivated every time. Her sessions are a mix of cardio, strength conditioning and mobility which push your body and your mind to do things you thought you would never been able to do like pull ups or rowing. She always makes you feel at ease and her passion and attitude are contagious. I feel stronger, more confident and my Saturday sesh with her is one of my favourite moments of the week! I started training with her after 18 years of just playing tennis and I finally found my focus again and my love for fitness thanks to her. She also made me feel part of a bigger community which has been so important for me after moving to Solihull from London.
Fantastic experience: I started training with Kirsty about 8 months ago in preparation for a fitness assessment at work so I had some very specific goals. Kirsty is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, & motivational, and my journey is now about far more than just my test. I have learnt so much and Kirsty has developed my confidence to try things I never would have dreamed of. My whole routine has been transformed because I now have someone to hold me accountable for my workouts, and someone who is always genuinely interested in my fitness achievements. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ali Seal for the last 16 years. Whether is has been an online PT session or in the gym, Ali and his team have vast experience in helping you reach the goals you wish to achieve. Having recently been diagnosed with ADHD the positive mental health aspect of training with the guys has been immeasurable. The physical and functional training benefits I feel everyday. I couldn't recommend his company more.

Fantastic experience: Kryssi Whitehurst trains my son. Kryssi has excellent communication skills and makes the sessions varied and interesting. She follows up each session with an email detailing what was done in the last session so my son can continue when he goes to the Gym on his own. My son has had personal trainers before but Kryssi is by far the best he has worked with. She has reignited his motivation I would recommend her to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Just had my first ever personal training session with the new addition - Derrick (don't think he is on their website yet but was recommended by Natalie from Tudor Grange gym). I was petrified of this, but recent changes to my health meant I had to do this. Derrick was brilliant..picked up the phone quickly and we had a chat which put me at ease..he heard my concerns about going to the gym and staying away from the weights and put me at ease.we met the same week and he was there before I got there but our session started on time. We sat down and thought about what our aims are. Then he showed me how to do a squat..never done one before but he was very kind and showed me how to do it effectively and safely. Then he showed me some lunges which I had never done before but he showed me how to do it. Then we moved onto some of the scary machines...he showed me how to use these and be effective in what I do. I never realised I had muscles in the places he got me to exercise. It was a really good workout. Then to finish he knocked 45sec off my split time on the rower.. and i found it so much easier to use.. I'm glad I did a session with Derrick..the first one was complimentary. If like me you have always stayed away from these things, someone like Derrick will put you at ease and get you on the right track.
Fantastic experience: I started with SEAL personal training in Oct 21. Although I was a regular gym visitor I had "hit a wall", lost motivation and couldn't get myself back on track. I met ALI who introduced me to some new cardio routines, including a better understanding of the rower; technique and how to use the data to improve. Brilliant! I am now working with KRYSSI on strength and conditioning. Kryssi is a great trainer, every session is planned and she ensures my technique is spot on. Correct technique has made a huge difference to my strength and fitness. The goals Kryssi sets are attainable if sometimes just out of reach but this motivates my work during my own gym visits. It's what I need. After each session with Kryssi she sends a summary which often includes a video of technique, this gives me confidence to practice on my own. Working with Kryssi has given me the confidence to use equipment and try exercises that I would never have attempted or even known about before. Kryssi is kind, patient and a great motivator with the ability to push you just that bit further each session. I really enjoy my sessions with her. If you are thinking about personal training I can recommend SEAL and from my own experience I can recommend ALI and KRYSSI.
Fantastic experience: Kryssi is amazing - that rare combination of being extremely talented and totally professional, together with having the ability to motivate and have fun! From being someone who steered clear of the gym, within just 5 sessions I now actively look forward to my times with her, and just can't believe it when an hour has gone! Fantastic experience: I used to dread going to the gym but my PT sessions with Kryssi have fast become a highlight of my week. Kryssi is really lovely but at the same time firm enough to get you good results and to help you achieve your goals. To add to that, she is also great at providing nutritional support/advice which provides a more holistic approach to fitness. I never regret a workout and the results I have achieved with Kryssi have been great. Consistency is key! Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Kryssie for 3 months now and my fitness has improved so much and I've also lost weight. Kryssie is a great motivator and pushes me to do things I didn't think I could do. She is friendly and supportive and great at explaining and demonstrating exercises. Fantastic experience: Training with Kryssi has been one of the best decisions i've made since becoming a first time mum!! In my early 30s, very much anti- gym and now a new mum, I was keen to get strong and into shape but really dreadded going to the gym alone. From the get go, Kryssi understood how I was feeling and we've been working on strength goals since joining in Feb. Four months on, I would usually have given up on any fitness regime- Kryssi is so personable but focused and it makes the sessions so fun. My attitude to exercise has really changed. Fantastic experience: I've been training with Kirsty at SEAL personal training for 18 months now and it has truly been one of the best decisions I've ever made. After deciding to become healthier during lockdown I took the big decision to try a personal trainer and with the gyms closed I saw that Kirsty offered one to one sessions outside, so I thought I would give it a try. I spoke to Kirsty to discuss what I wanted and she made the whole startup process really easy. I always had issues keeping the weight off since I stopped playing football, but nothing seemed to work Since training with Kirsty I have lost 35lbs and with her support been able to maintain a much healthier lifestyle. Kirsty is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and a great motivator. Before getting you to complete each exercise she clearly indicates the form and technique required to maximise results. When we returned to the gym Kirsty introduced me to Indoor Rowing, I'd always played around on rowers, but she was able to show me much better stroke efficiency and technique to the point where I have competed in the British Indoor Rowing Championships and regularly set PBs. Kirsty puts on strength, conditioning and cardio sessions and each one is tailored for your specific needs and gradually, without really noticing, you are getting stronger and fitter. Training with Kirsty has also pushed me to create my own workouts when I can't get to the gym, and she always checks in to see all is OK. My sessions have also had a positive impact on my mental health, after some tough days at work I look forward to each workout with Kirsty and afterwards feel much better about myself and this is due to the type of workout Kirsty put me through and the enthusiasm she puts into each session. Over my time training with Kirsty I've got to know other members of the SEAL team and they are all very approachable and happy to help. I would thoroughly recommend SEAL personal training for all ages and all levels of fitness .

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ali and his team for some 10 years,firstly to get some all round fitness and then training relating to competing in triathlons (London 2012).And then I got into indoor rowing! .Very specific and focussed training plans have enabled me to participate at national competitions and, occasionally, come away with some medals.(over 50s lwt 500m British champion in 2015-16).Great training and fun but with results..
Fantastic experience: I've had sessions before in the past with James and Ali and can definitely say that my workouts have now improved. I never realised how much you can get done in an hour and can notice the difference in my health and shape. It's a shame that I had to leave the gym in Solihull after getting another job but I would definitely recommend them.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Seal personal training for over twelve years now...... and in that time l’ve had nothing but superb training and pure professional sessions from him. His attention to detail and his ability to educate techniques is second to none. I do a fair amount of travelling...... which includes a lot of trekking in various countries....... l’ve climbed over the Andes..... been up the Himalayan mountains ...... trekked through Patagonia..... and other countries..... and there is no way l would have achieved that without Ali’s training regime.....l have the utmost respect for Ali and his team....... and without question...... would recommend Ali and his team to anyone....... in all the years l’ve been with Seal training..... is a testimony of my respect for them all. Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Ali and his team for around 8 years, a combination of strength conditioning, specific indoor rowing training for competition and overall fitness and we have tailored programmes to my road cycling events - the experience has been excellent, loads of hard work but plenty of fun as well and I have seen loads of progression in my strength and fitness - a great team who really know what they are doing and how to keep you motivated
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ali and his team for around 15 years and he has looked after my fitness and more recently he has helped me recover from sciatica over the the last two years. When I first started training we used to focus on heavy weight sessions and now we work predominately on my leg conditioning so that I can compete in cycling sportives. Ali offers dynamic sessions which assist me in reaching my fitness goals and I look forward to training with Ali in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to write a review for a long time! All the trainers are really friendly and welcoming, when I first contacted Ali it felt really daunting and I think he understood that I really wanted to start sessions, but I felt really nervous, as I’d never really trained before. I explained what I wanted from a trainer and he put me in touch with Kirsty and that feeling soon disappeared. I have been training with Kirsty for a few years, from the moment I met her I knew I had made the right decision. I love my sessions with her they always have lots of variety, I have learnt so much, and in between sessions she always checks in and keeps my motivation up. She has the ability to be your friend as well as making you work harder than you ever worked before... and then keep you going back again and again for more! I recently had an outdoor session with her as gyms are closed and didn’t really know what to expect, I really miss the gym environment, I have been training at home during this pandemic and I really just want to get back to a gym... but Kirsty didn’t disappoint. I loved the session. It was fun and had lots of variety as usual and the lack of gym equipment didn’t effect the intensity of the session in anyway. If you are looking for a personal trainer I would highly recommend Kirsty, you can tell that she really has a passion for fitness and that she genuinely cares about her clients.
Fantastic experience: Ali and his team are extremely friendly professional. They offer personal training sessions which push you and can be tailored to your needs. I particularly like the focus they place on good form and technique which enables you to get the most out of the exercises you do, avoid injury and gain confidence in the gym. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Seal PT since 2013. Since then I have lost 4-stone in weight and gained a passion for fitness and indoor rowing and I now hold numerous national titles, a world record and 2 British records. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Seal personal training for a few months now, and can honestly say the Seal team are all such a lovely bunch of people. All staff members have a genuine interest in how your doing and what they can do to help. I am a 21 year old female who recently had ACL reconstruction to my knee , for me finding the right help and support was so hard. However when I started training with Ali , straight away I was supported and encouraged. Ali himself having a background with knee Injuries is great. As he is very aware on how hard rehab can be. His insight into muscles and ligiments is super. I find I learn something new each session , helping me understand my legs more and how to get the best out of them. Ali creates individual programmes for each client, which is great. In previous experiences with personal trainers I found everyone did the same things each week and i lost motivation. However I look forward to my weekly session knowing I will learn new exercises to push and improve myself. The great thing about Ali is when he gives you exercises they are demonstrated correctly, when doing them yourself he helps you to perform them correctly therefore it won't lead to any injuries. Making you feel confident with what you are doing. Honestly I highly recommend having a session with one of the seal staff to see for yourself. They are all lovely genuine nice people. You won't regret it!!
Fantastic experience: I exercise regularly and love the exercise I do, but for a while I had felt I had hit a bit of a wall. I wanted to be stronger but I wasn't sure how. I've been a member of a gym before and hated it as I didn't know what I was doing! I decided a few sessions with a personal trainer might help me so I googled personal trainers and Seal Fitness popped up. I spoke with Ali on the phone. He seemed really nice and understood what I wanted so I agreed to meet him for a session to see how it went. 12 sessions down the line, I am definitely stronger and so much more confident at the gym. Ali was great - he took on board my individual goals and created a programme which would help me work towards these using his knowledge and expertise. It was really varied and gave me opportunity to learn how to use different equipment whilst also explaining how and why we were doing everything. It also included some rowing - which ill admit I was sceptical of initially - but I ended up really enjoying and seeing how it can be a fantastic workout (especially when you're doing it right!) and have even been doing it in my workouts since. I really enjoyed my sessions. It definitely improved my strength and this has had a positive impact on my fitness and endurance too! Exactly he results I was hoping for. I'd highly recommend Seal Fitness to everyone.
Fantastic experience: I am a 46 year old woman & have been regularly training with Seal Personal Training since 2012. This is the first and only time in my life that I have ever properly maintained a regular fitness regime. Ali and his team, of which I have trained with every member, are all so friendly yet totally professional and passionate. Do not think that you have to be a super-fit athlete to train with them. They have the knowledge and personal skills to train anyone, from any walk of life. They will guide you towards your fitness goals and steer you along any bumps in the road - don't worry - it happens to all of us !! This is THE only way that I would ever keep going to the gym. I am a man in my 50's and a regular gym goer but hadn't considered using a personal trainer before so I was a little apprehensive and didn't know what to expect. Ali really put my mind at ease from the first session and made me feel very comfortable. He is very professional and his extensive knowledge has really changed my training regime. I have continued to train with Ali since the vouchers were used up and really look forward to it each week. The sessions are enjoyable, completely catered to my needs and are helping me to constantly improve in my training.
