Fantastic experience: What a fantastic gym, the best yet. So friendly, spotlessly clean with excellent equipment in top condition. There is a brilliant range of aerobic kit as well as resistance and a large area for floor work and free weights. I absolutely love it! As a health care worker and building services engineer I am particularly impressed with the ventilation, which is entirely natural via opening windows. No more dirty air from non-maintained systems in other gyms! Plus you can always park. Looking forward to the next session!

Fantastic experience: I was staying in Devon for a wedding, and went here on Saturday morning. They offer a day pass at a very good rate, the gym is clean and has everything you need. Was happy to get a session in whilst away.

Fantastic experience: Great little gym, while it’s not huge it has a superb range of equipment including all the essentials, all of which is in very good condition. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the membership cost is really good value. Only thing is the opening hours are a bit restrictive if like me your ideal gym time is 8-9pm every day but it’s worth the trade off.

Fantastic experience: We're in the process of moving to Belstone full-time. Yesterday i trained at KJM for the first time as a guest of our neighbour and friend. We are both going to do a recce of The Bob Graham round the Lake District in May. So, yesterday was a legs day. Merv had a 121 coaching session with Michaela. While i did my legs programme using lots of equipment for giant sets. The gym was exceptionally clean and all the members wiped down the equipment after use. The owners / staff were really friendly and welcoming. There is loads of space and equipment to train safely and effectively. As a small business owner myself and coach, i would recommend KJM to everybody and anyone whatever your fitness level, skill or experience. Thank you to everyone at KJM, hope to be back next week.

They have created such a nice atmosphere in the gym, they're always introducing members too each other helping create such a friendly welcoming place. the gym is filled with fantastic equipment and great facilities, the place is always cleaned and immaculate. could not recommend this gym highly enough, as a bigger person who struggles with mental health, they have made it such a comfortable place to go you're always greeted so warmly and kindly. I look forward to going to the gym daily. Easily the nicest gym in town.

Fantastic experience: The best hour of my week! A brilliant gym - everyone is so friendly and happy to help. James and Michaela are amazing: always on hand to offer advice on training/nutrition and keep me motivated! The gym is spotlessly clean - James can often be seen hoovering (or painting) when he gets a break. A great environment to train in, particularly with covid still around. Sessions with James are brilliant - he’s great fun but also focused on helping me reach my goals with lots of varied workouts! He makes me work hard and I always leave feeling amazing…and feeling the burn! I’ve been training here since last summer and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! Thank you KJM team!!

Fantastic experience: After 6 years of working out in different gyms up and down the country, I can safely say that KJM Fitness is the place to be. Their equipment is top of the range and maintained to the highest of standards. I don’t think I’ve seen a cleaner gym. It’s always service with a smile and the staff are very supporting and friendly along with the members of the gym. The cost of membership is very competitive and a bargain in my eyes. If I could give more stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Suffering with anxiety makes it really hard to step into new places, especially places that can be intimidating. KJM gym doesn't have that vibe. You walk in and immediately get a friendly, warm welcome. James takes the time to get to know you and is always on hand if you need help. The equipment is top notch quality and the whole environment is clean, tidy and extremely well maintained. The booking system is great and very easy to use.

Fantastic experience: I've used a few gyms in my time, and KJM Fitness is the first one I've been to where I remember walking in and being made to feel so overwhelmingly welcome -- as well as every subsequent time I've visited, too. The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, the equipment is state-of-the-art (supplied by the best manufacturer in the world) - and best of all, simply being greeted by name and treated like a real person by every member of staff means the absolute world to me, and makes KJM by far the best gym in town. If you're on the fence about joining, or debating which gym to join in Okehampton, I cannot recommend KJM Fitness enough. I myself joined because I was struggling with feeling isolated during lockdown, and wanted to give the place a try to see what getting back out made to me - And, well, it's been worth every single penny, and more.

Fantastic experience: KJM fitness is one of the pleasure spots in Devon - their machines can make you scream not only machinery but all atmosphere is very positive and motivating there. PT sessions with James - the best investment I made - with his experience and knowledge he can make you work hard even lifting a straw. Highly recommending!

Fantastic experience: I've used this gym on several occasions and I love the flexibility of the membership. I've always been made to feel very welcome in this gym and have known James to be nothing other than welcoming, patient and willing to help anyone. I would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: The good the bad and the ugly I've been to everyd sort of gym, I have felt paranoid and felt out off place in many suffering from mental health I go to the gym to help so when you don't feel right in a place that ment to help you are kinda screwed. But after lock down I decided to move gyms and see if for some reason the grass is greener. From reading the website to actually walking in I felt already that it was a good place. I've now been at kjm over a year and I have never felt better. The 2 owners James and micky have opened a place where not only makes you feel better physically but mentally. James has built me up from somewhere very low helping me build confidence in myself the community in kjm is just a buzz you chat to everyone and anyone. Equipment is important but to feel good using the equipment is even better. I also now have a semi banging body. If you need a gym that gives you the confidence to feel good about yourself and your reading kjm website don't wait to see if these good reviews are true come see for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Did my first session up here this morning after joining online. Owners James quite literally saw me coming and opened the door to welcome me. He showed me round the modern, clean and fully equipped gym... and then let me figure bits and pieces out on my own!! So welcoming and friendly. Gym equipment is all brand new and there's literally something for My exercise you want!! Simple sign up process, friendly staff and plenty of room! Lockers and changing rooms etc too! So glad to press my "reset" button (again) at this place!

Fantastic experience: Got to be the best gym around West Devon at least! From the moment you walk in you are greeted and made to feel welcome. It is a family ran business, the most friendliest couple you could come across. They have created a wonderful atmosphere, a family atmosphere. The equipment is top notch and there's so much space, you don'r feel cramped and you're not working out on top of other people!! It is kept so clean and tidy! Why would you not want to join this amazing gym and workout here?

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly recommended. Great new kit, clean and spacious, informal friendly atmosphere, not intimidating, the staff have an attitude of nothing is too much trouble and always positive, supportive, helpful and energising. You can just get on with your training or there is always a bit of sound advice and support to all the members, not just the PT clients. If you have fitness, strength, sport or weight-loss goals, KJM can help you. Outstanding service so well done KJM. I should add, 5 months a member and still going strong (and meeting my personal goals)!

Fantastic experience: Ive been a member of this gym since the day it opened and I've enjoyed every minute of it. Great facilities, wonderful astmosphere, a reasonable monthly fee and all the staff are great, helpful and James really knows his stuff. I highly recommend.
