Fantastic experience: Has made a huge difference to my strength. So great to be able to make changes with just 20 minutes per week. I can lift my 3 year old grand daughter very easily. Hurrah. I can also get up from the floor which I couldn’t do before without hanging onto something. I’m delighted!

Fantastic experience: I have been relatively "fit" for most of my life (70+ years!). Firstly as a footballer for 20+ years, a runner, including marathons and ultra marathons, and, once the damage to my knees became too much, I took up cycling, which I have thoroughly enjoyed for the last 20 years or so. In between, I have also played cricket and golf, tennis for a few years, so pretty much an all-round sportsman! However, I had to re-evaluate my sporting activities following a triple bypass in 2021, and becoming a full-time carer for my wife. But I didn't want to stop cycling, as I had to remain healthy enough to take on my domestic responsibilities, and my competitive instinct had to be fed! Early in 2023, I happened upon an advert for Fit20 which was about to open in Twyford. Having never been a gym-bunny, I was certainly sceptical about the claims to improve my fitness in only 20 minutes a week, but I was curious enough to apply for the free trial. What a revelation!! No sweaty bodies, or sweat-covered equipment; no pounding music; no fancy expensive clothing; not even anyone else in the "gym", just me, 5 specific machines, and Paul, the owner. The arrangements suited me perfectly! The discipline of a fixed appointment every week, walk in, exercise, walk out, within 20 minutes! The equipment already calibrated for my individual needs. And my results are testament to the success of the programme! You see them on the app every week, the vast improvements in overall fitness, especially to my core strength. My bike control is much better, my posture, my sleep, just walking upright instead of hunched; all to such a degree that I really look forward to the training eack week because I know how good I feel afterwards! Fit20 is not designed to give you "Mr Universe" strength and muscle tone. No, traditional gyms with weights, dumbells, etc will meet those needs. But if you want to improve your overall fitness, your health, and feel good about yourself, Fit20 is the way to go. 20 minutes a week? YES, that really is all it takes, and Paul will be delighted to help you achieve your fitness goals. I'm certainly looking forward to my second year!
