Fantastic experience: I joined Fire a month ago and I love it SO much! The owners, Joe and Nat, are so welcoming, the equipment is super new and always clean, and I really appreciate being able to grab a drink / snack after a workout from the hatch if I need to. It's great to be around other people who are passionate about strength training too. Something else that makes a huge difference to my experience is how queer-friendly it is. Basically if you're thinking about joining, you should!

It’s the gym I’ve been searching for all my life: friendly, relaxed, well equipped with expert advice and help when you need it AND amazing frozen high protein meals to take home. Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, atmosphere and people! The staff are as good as they come - extremely fun, welcoming and helpful. Has all the equipment you could want in a gym - with more goodies coming too! It strikes the right balance of being busy enough to create a good, focused and driven atmosphere to train in, but you’re never going to be waiting for equipment to keep your workouts efficient. Theres always something happening to keep the members and community involved for a bit of fun. Glad we found this gym - it’s the best gym I’ve been to in a while and the membership prices are spot on. You won’t regret it!

They have a great selection of pre workouts, energy drinks and proteins etc. I live in Bishop’s Stortford and It’s really easy to get to as well, actually faster for me to get here than most gyms in the town! This gym is clean well run with passion from the owners .great equipment and a very nice atmosphere I am glad to be apart of fire and strength .

Fantastic experience: From the friendly staff who have a no pressure policy and the great range of equipment and high cleaning standards. This gym is a must if you are visiting or in the area. There is no barriers to this gym whether you are a beginner all the way through to advanced the staff are there to help you on your journey. Five stars isn’t enough! Fantastic experience: Visited to check this new gym out and LOVED it! The equipment, the space, the owner/team are all great. Gyms often appear dark spaces but Fire is so light and airy it feels there’s plenty of space to get done whatever session you want to do, have anything you need nearby and if you were training with someone there’s space so you’re not in other people’s way. The changing rooms are looking like they’ll be the highest standard of any gym I’ve been to! Being able to grab a coffee/pre workout/bar/snack pre or post workout is also a great perk!

Fantastic experience: I've had at least 5 memberships with different gyms in the last 20 years. I've also trialed at least another 8 gyms within a ten mile radius of where I live (Stansted Mountfichet) in the last year This one, in my opinion, is the best of the lot. No argument. I've had three sessions at Fire Strength and Fitness in the last two weeks, and I'm buzzing from it! I'm so pleased to have heard about this gym that was recommended by a neighbour of mine. It's perfect! A must for anyone to try.

Nat and Joe's expertise shines through as they provide excellent support, blending friendliness with a wealth of fitness knowledge. This gym is a great find and I am so happy to support a Small local business. All the equipment is brand new and the layout of the gym is perfect. Fire has given me the confidence to get myself back in to fitness after having a few years off. You walk in to the gym and you can feel a brilliant happy energy and it has made me not feel scared to go on my own. Everyone is so funny and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Great gym, amazing equipment, fantastic people. My training had become stale, and I was looking to start again somewhere fresh. Along came Fire Strength & Fitness! I signed up to the open weekend, and my wife and I became members straight away. Joe has amazing energy and I know that his gym is helping people be the best version of themselves first, and business second. Highly recommend checking them out and supporting these lovely people!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing place to train! I'm a total gym nut and this gym has some of the most unique and awesome machines I've seen. A nice change from the standard stuff you see everywhere else. And the owners will personally help you if you need assistance with any of it. So stoked this place has opened up, a true value added to the Hertfordshire / Essex area

Fantastic experience: My wife and I visited the new gym and we are very impressed. We have cancelled our existing gym contracts so we can join Fire & Strength. It has all the equipment we need (and it's all brand new), and the staff were so friendly. Highly recommend!
