Fantastic experience: I cannot rate this place enough. I am on a weight loss journey trying to get stronger and fitter and I feel so at home here. Lots of very strong and very kind, helpful people. Great kit, great atmosphere and few mirrors. There's a real community feel, with members and staff supporting and cheering each other on.

Fantastic experience: An excellent gym that has great facilities / equipment and a broad set of classes too. Instructors know their stuff and couldn't be more helpful and encouraging. Prices are really reasonable, with regular and pay-as-you-go options - suits my needs perfectly.

Fantastic experience: Amazing kettlebell sessions with Matt, would never have built this strength by myself, highly recommend for PT sessions.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Ludus for almost a year now, it’s an amazing gym with all the equipment you could need for a good workout, the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. I began my personal training journey with Matt a couple of months ago due to needing to increase strength for joining the military. Matt has been amazing in tailoring my training sessions to exactly what I need to reach my goals and has spent time researching different military style training regimes to help this. His style of training based around kettle bells is something I was optimistic about when I first started but now I’ve been using them I absolutely love it. He is an extremely knowledgeable and professional coach who I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. I’ve gained a lot of strength over the past couple of months and I can’t wait to continue training with him till I go for my basic training.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Ludus P.T. highly enough. Been doing 2 x sessions per week for over a year and progress has been great. Matt is a very knowledgeable coach, who is professional and supportive. Sessions are well-planned, fun and with progressive goal setting.

Fantastic experience: I moved to this gym last year from another local gym. It was a great decision. The staff are exceptional, helpful and knowledgeable. They are always willing to answer any question and offer advice and support. The gym offers excellent classes, which challenge you. While the main gym offers a wide range of new equipment in a friendly open environment. Finally, it is a very reasonable priced gym. It is worth a look!

Fantastic experience: Bloody great gym. The boys are really good and friendly, it’s really personal and doesn’t feel “corporate”. Going to the gym has become enjoyable again. All the members are friendly with a good demographic of young and older. I recommend anyone looking to get back into the gym to join Ludus

Although she is the newest member of the Ludus Team, she really knows her stuff and always goes above and beyond to make our sessions varied and exciting. Fantastic experience: Although small, very well laid out and organized. They don't put up with people not using the gym properly so it's always got people who want to work out and only work out in there. Staff are friendly and always available to give tips!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Andy since the beginning in 2019. He and his coaches are excellent, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Andy has built a fantastic, and well equipped gym that has facilities for all! I would thoroughly recommend this gym and the coaches!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Ludus now for over a year, and honestly couldn't recommend it more. The staff are so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The gym has everything you need and they are constantly updating equipment and taking on suggestions to improve. I also have pt sessions there and they are very good value for money. I like that you are in a separate building to the main gym, so it feels very private and you never feel too watched. I can recommend Andy Allen in particular, he pushes you to work hard and I have seen great improvement in my strength. He's also one of the nicest guys I know! Recently, I have also enjoyed taking part in their classes, which are always a great atmosphere. Overall the best gym in the area!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for over two years. I’m so pleased to see how much the gym has grown in this time, the passion & dedication the team have for their customers is why it has become so popular within the community. The gym has a friendly vibe & doesn’t feel intimidating like some gyms can be. The team listen to their members and keep adding and upgrading equipment to meet those requests. There is a great selection of classes and the PT sessions are excellent. Proud to be a member of this gym.

Positive experience: Matt the PT is an absolute legend. Knows his stuff, and is great at helping with injuries or movements you are not happy with. The main gym area has a lot of kit in. Staff and friendly and helpful, personally a much better gym than DSX

Fantastic experience: Love Ludus! Have been going to strength boot camp here, training 121 with Matt and using the gym for a few months. I absolutely love it, all the trainers are so helpful and knowledgable, it’s a real friendly environment and the equipment is top - can’t rate it enough!

Fantastic experience: I have Lauren as a personal trainer and it was honestly the best thing I did in my weight loss journey. She understands what loosing weight looks like, as she has done it successfully herself. Lauren always brings energy to the session and if you see her in the gym. Also, she really listens to what you want to achieve as your goals and applies her knowledge to your plan. I recommend a friend to Lauren and have heard nothing but positive comments. She makes exercising seem fun (ish!), and she is always your biggest cheerleader at the side! Thank you for being a star!

Ludus gym fits the bill on all counts its truly changed our enjoyment of weight/fitness training entirely. What sets this gym apart is its commitment to inclusivity. They recognize that every individual has unique fitness goals, and this philosophy permeates every aspect of their operation. The personal trainers here are nothing short of excellent. Fantastic experience: Andy and the team at Ludus fitness make you feel very welcome and relaxed in a non judgemental environment which is great when you first start out on the fitness journey. I have achieved more in the past 6 months being at Ludus than I did in 3 years with another commercial gym chain. Cannot praise the team enough for their dedication and cannot recommend the gym enough!!

Fantastic experience: Joined after having bad experiences at larger gyms. All the staff are extremely friendly and happy to help with any equipment. I had a free session with Amy as part of my membership and she is very knowledgable and an amazing PT! Small, welcoming gym - perfect for anyone anxious about starting their fitness journey. Lots of classes and other members just as happy to help others out. Can’t recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Did 4 PT sessions with Matt. Having never been to a gym before I was slightly daunted, but Matt was fantastic. Encouraging and supportive and devised a training plan specifically to suit my needs, which was core and muscle strength. I'm now signed up to use the gym, and although I'd never thought I'd say it, I'm really enjoying it. Can't recommend Matt and Ludus gym enough. Thank you guys.

All the team are so helpful & easy to approach, if you're ever stuck or unsure on how to use any of the equipment just ask the team as they're always happy to help! Fantastic experience: the best gym in bishops Waltham and surrounding villages. The equipment Is new and up-to-date. The gym is clean and the team are very friendly. There is always someone there if you need help with something. The gym to join if you want to arrive and just get on with your training. You won't get any groups or youngsters getting in your way on their phones taking photos here.

Fantastic experience: Best gym based in Hampshire by far, I went through and tried so many different gyms and could never find one that had everything, Ludus does. All the staff are super friendly and will always help you to achieve your goals, the gym equipment is outstanding and the team will always show you how to use it. They have a great mix of equipment for all fitness disciplines and all the staff have there own great insights on each training style. No complaints at all, if your looking for the best gym around Ludus is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Good independent gym. Focusing more on lifting, current trends and popular equipment (which is a positive for me). It appears to have a no-nonsense approach. On site parking is pretty good. Equipment is clean. Staff are friendly. There is personal training in the building next door, which is nice as you get some privacy from the rest of the gym goers. The only negative point (specifically for tall people), where the building has been converted to suit the needs of a gym - there are a few low beams to duck around towards the back of the building and the second floor. With this being said, the second floor has changing rooms and free lockers.
