I've been giving the middle finger to restrictive diets and hideous exercise routines for over a decade now. Fantastic experience: Now in my 50s, I'd noticed a significant reduction in my strength which became even more apparent when diagnosed with a rare Sarcoma. Cancer treatment takes a toll on the body so I sought Ben's help to rebuild a comfortable level of fitness. I've always had a good understanding of diet, but needed guidance on the best way (for me) to approach strength training whilst lifting weights safely and effectively. Working with Ben at Push Pull Health has been a positive experience. He creates a bespoke programme for my ability then coaches me through each session so I don't have to plan or think about it. Fantastic experience: As a 13 year old getting into weightlifting can be very hard what with no one having the appropriate training etc. Until me and my dad stumbled across ben at push pull health he explained that many of the horror stories you come across are highly exaggerated. Ben's approach focuses on slow, steady progression, emphasising propper form and ensuring recovery and nutrition align with the amount of work being done. Ben's expertise in working with young athletes made a huge difference, giving me a tailored strength programme that's safe and effective for my age and I've already seen improvements in my strength, techniques and confidence. The environment is really welcoming and im taken seriously. If you're looking for a qualified personal trainer who understands the unique needs of training kids and young athletes under 16 i can't recommend ben enough.

Fantastic experience: I first went to Ben at Push Pull Health with the goal of losing 7 pounds before a holiday. However, over time, I realised that losing this additional weight would mean giving up the foods I enjoy, especially when socialising on the weekends. That’s when Ben helped me shift my focus to getting stronger in the gym, toning up, and tackling something many women like me struggle with—bingo wings! As a dog walker, I’m already active, so daily movement wasn’t the problem. The real challenge was managing my relationship with food, particularly with the cravings and lack of energy that come with perimenopause. Ben helped me see that focusing on strength and making better food choices would benefit me much more than just trying to lose weight. His approach didn’t require giving up the foods I love but taught me how to enjoy them in a way that fit my goals. The personalised programme Ben designed took into account my busy schedule and didn’t overload me with extra cardio, which I didn’t need. Instead, we focused on strength training and building lean muscle. Fantastic experience: From the first time Ben invited me for coffee, I knew training with Push Pull Health would be the place for me. I’d always struggled with gym routines and had tried other gyms (multiple times!) but without a proper programme or knowing what to do, I gave up quickly as I was embarrassed and hated every second of it. Ben’s relaxed, approachable manner immediately put me at ease, and I felt a sense of relief that this time would be different. My main goals were to get stronger, tone up, and maintain lean muscle mass while losing weight. As I’m currently using wegovy for a thyroid issue and excess weight, I’d been advised that just losing weight quickly wouldn’t allow me to see the full benefits of the medication without also focusing on a regular strength training programme and improving my diet. Working with Ben has been a game changer. He created a tailored strength programme that helped me get stronger and allowed me to preserve and build lean muscle while using wegovy. Ben made sure I didn’t fall into the trap of just eating less of the same foods. Fantastic experience: As a former aerobics instructor, I hadn't exercised consistently in the gym for over 30 years. Over time, I noticed a significant reduction in my strength and overall health. Initially, my goal was to lose weight, but after starting with Ben, he made me shift my focus away from just losing weight and instead focus on the reasons why I came to him in the first place: getting stronger, moving better, and having the fitness to keep up with my grandchildren. Fantastic experience: Ben is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. I didn’t know where to start and Ben simplified the process for me. We had a weekly phone call as well as interaction over the app every few days, I was never alone, Ben was always on the other end if I was confused. The biggest change for me in the 12 weeks was my measurements, i lost more inches than i did weight. My energy levels also increased, which was great. When I started I was trying to hard to get my eating right, steps in and exercise classes in all at the beginning when literally myself and Ben peeled it back to the basics, we started with one element each week until eventually I had a routine, this took time but honestly it has stood to me for going forward. I had tried several diets and restrictions, this isn’t a diet it’s simply a way of life now for me. My advice to anyone thinking about starting - Just Start, if you’re like me and trying to hard to get everything right at the beginning it all becomes overwhelming, just let Ben guide you. Still, inevitably, my overly restrictive diet would lead me to push the fu*k it button and start the process all over again! Fantastic experience: I started with Ben a little over 14 weeks ago with a massive goal to get under 100kg I started at 112.5 the thing the Ben really taught my was to track my calories track my protein something I’ve never done or understood before, one thing Ben also taught me is I didn’t have to eat boring foods day in day out get bored and of plan during the 14 week journey he has been nothing but supportive and has taught me so much I am now sitting at 98.5kg completing one goal but starting another, Ben doesn't force you to follow a generic meal plan. Instead, he teaches and guides you to make positive changes to your diet. This enabled me to enjoy family meals and socialising with friends without worrying about going off-plan. I feel confident enough now to stop yo-yo dieting and, with Ben's help, have found sustainable habits that work for my life. If your goal is losing fat, fitting your clothes better, or simply feeling better in yourself, I can't recommend Ben from Push Pull Health enough!

Fantastic experience: I’m writing this review as someone who relocated a few months ago to the area, doesn’t like exercising in front of people, doesn’t enjoy the gym and has had serious slipped disc injury in my lower back in 2020 which has impacted my confidence in exercising without guidance. I approached Ben after checking out his instagram and explained my limitations (mental and physical) and explained my previous physio therapy I’ve had. From first contact, Ben has been great! Not pushy, totally understanding and I felt comfortable to trust his judgement in which exercises he recommended at each session. So much so that I feel a lot more confident in doing exercises at home after sessions with Ben. Starting training with Ben has been the best decision I have made, not only has it been improving my mental health, it has been improving my confidence towards home exercising but also that my body is stronger than I give it credit for and I am capable! It’s been a great start and I am excited to continue this journey.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Training and health company. The equiptment is brand new and covers everything you need. The trainer, Ben is highly knowledgable and experienced - and can advise on all areas of health and nutrition. In addition, I got access to an app that allows you to track you foods, but more useful for me, a whole library of exercise ideas so if you want to do a little bit at home, you can. Also some great ideas for high protein foods.

Fantastic experience: Been on the journey for a couple of weeks now with using Push Pull Health. The app is really user friendly, and Ben's been amazing providing easy changes and methods to help improve my nutrition and tailoring exercises for my personal goals. Fantastic experience: Despite my initial reluctance toward exercise, Ben at Push Pull Health helped me adjust. Though my feelings didn't completely shift, Ben guided me to a routine I almost looked forward to! When I had to move, I feared losing momentum. Fortunately, we transitioned our sessions online, where, with Ben's coaching, we kept track of all my exercise, diet and daily habits in an easy-to-use app whilst maintaining my progress. Fantastic experience: Despite being active, I always found it a challenge to find an exercise routine and diet that worked for me. However, from our first consultation I knew Ben's approach was different. Instead of throwing me into the deep end of workouts, he took the time to listen and understand my requirements and needs so as to find the best exercise and dieting strategies. He also helped me structure habits that work for me in and out of the gym which I can use for long lasting benefit. At last a health routine that I don't actively dread! Highly recommended. Fantastic experience: I 100% highly recommend Ben at Push Pull Health. My health, weight and self image have crumbled since becoming a mum and something needed to change. I’m a real anxious person with new people and new situations but Ben took so much time getting to know me before my first session that when arrived it was like meeting a friend for a work out. Due to 2 c-sections I suffer with a pinned scar and diastis recti which makes my core and “mum tum” a real trouble area, difficult to fix without surgery (but not impossible with the correct knowledge) I was pleasantly surprised that Ben could adapt all workouts so that I could workout safely. You’d be surprised how many instructors have failed with safe workouts for mums with diastis recti and had me doing sit ups! We’ve also covered nutrition in a real life, maintainable situation as a busy mum of 2 which only boosts my motivation being “allowed” to eat “naughty” food. Thank you , Ben. I’m so excited for the rest of my fitness journey and feeling like ME again!
