Fantastic experience: Training with James has been the best experience. I'm a complete beginner to weightlifting but I have learnt so much in just twelve sessions, not just about exercise but about myself. James is a great personal trainer, he's focused on teaching proper form and composure and he's pushed me further than I thought was capable. I feel so much more confident in my abilities now but I'll be looking forward to booking some more sessions as I genuinely enjoy them and don't want our time together to end! I would thoroughly recommend his as a personal trainer, no matter your level.
Fantastic experience: In no uncertain terms training with James has changed my life for the better. James taught me how to connect with my body for the first time. I learned how perfect my form for both boxing and weight training. I learned that I could push myself far beyond my limits. Most of all I established a confidence that has allowed me to transfer the skills learned with James into other aspects of my life. I can’t stress enough that if you want to get fit and train correctly personal training is essential and James is your best bet - full of knowledge and truly professional.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to James via my partner who has loved training with James 3x a week for a while now. I’ve had PTs before but James attention to detail and focus on form is second to none and has really helped me take it to the next level with my training as I am able to really lift to failure with his guidance. The space is great - it’s private and has all the equipment you need. James is very knowledgable about a wide variety of topics relating to training and health which can also support you on maximising your fitness journey whatever that looks like!
Fantastic experience: I've been going to the gym for years but I started training with James as I wanted some help with my overall form and technique. Fantastic experience: I was attending CrossFit and realised that I needed to improve my technique to avoid injury. I chose James because of his knowledge of powerlifting and strength and conditioning. I realised that once my form and mindset was correct, I could push myself far beyond what I thought was possible. He taught me training is about mental strength and focus. His patience and detailed explanations have made me feel confident and motivated throughout our sessions. Consequently my strength and stamina for CrossFit improved greatly. He is a very patient and experienced trainer with a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Although I’ve been going to gyms for years I was really struggling to stay motivated, and to build muscle. James initially helped me focus on the basic techniques, and has since quickly got me to the best shape I’ve ever been in,. He’s always friendly and encouraging, and very easy to talk to. Fantastic experience: I’ve been strength and conditioning training with James for twice a week for over 2 years and have made fantastic progress! My program is progressive and varied and is tailored to me, so is relevant to my other sporting pursuits. Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. James is an extremely versatile trainer, unusually good at tailoring sessions to abilities and goals (and energy levels!). His knowledge of technique, nutrition, and, more broadly, health and longevity science is quite remarkable, resulting in a holistic approach that ensures solid progress without injury to either body or mind. (3 sessions / week for the last 15 months).

Fantastic experience: i’ve been seeing james for over 6 months, 3-4 times a week & the transformation my body has made in that time has been more than any other time in my life. i had tried it all, HIIT, spinning, kobox etc & nothing had worked like controlled weight lifting. i also hate cardio with a passion so to find a personal trainer who could change my body without it was amazing. james is also super flexible on times & has been really helpful fitting in sessions & changes last minute to fit around my unpredictable job

Fantastic experience: James is a fantastic trainer. He was able to help me with my weight gain program, which is something I had always struggled with. In a 10 week structured program, James had a huge impact. He takes a very mature, scientific, and economic approach to training, minimising injury risk and also time needed in the gym. The private studio structure, works really well, and is incredibly well equipped, with a handful of items that aren't available in most gums! He's a great trainer in a great set up.
Fantastic experience: I've used James for a few years now and couldn't recommend him more. As someone who knew I needed to exercise more but didn't feel comfortable in a public gym, having one-on-one sessions in a private gym space has been a revelation. His knowledge is exceptional, there's a wide variety of equipment and routines to suit different requirements and I've found I particularly enjoy learning to box. He's also very knowledgeable in terms of nutrition etc. I feel dramatically better than I did when I wasn't exercising.
