Fantastic experience: The hardest part of joining a gym is walking through the door! I kept putting it off for ages, partly because of embarrassment and because I was nervous, when I plucked up the courage and joined Gymophobics Rugeley the welcome I got was lovely, I was put at ease straight away, Kerry explained everything to me and I signed up! Since joining I have lost 22 inches and 7.5lb! I've made some lovely friends and I really enjoy Tuesdays Boot camp with Lorraine, it's a great atmosphere and I thoroughly enjoy going, I would really like another Boot camp on a Friday evening as they really are great

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic gym !!! I haven’t been to the gym for many, many years but had noticed Gymophobics while out shopping and thought it looked more suitable for my age. Anyway chatting to a lady at the bus stop about being new to round here she told me of places to go and went on to say she went gymophobics and how welcoming it was so I booked for a visit. I have been trying to lose weight for what seems like forever!!! What a lovely welcome I got when I arrived and everyone was so friendly. I decided to join up. Over the week I went 3 different times and each time had the same warm welcome. I actually enjoyed the thought of going to the gym. This is my second week and I’m loving it. This isn’t just a gym, there is so much help and support there. I was weighed and measured on my 1st day and a plan was put together for me to do on the machines. I was supported to go around using the equipment by a member of staff and as I have become more confident the staff have let me be more independent. I can’t thank them enough for giving me a new enthusiasm about the gym. I would definitely recommend joining.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym in January 2024. I prefer to go to this gym instead of a conventional gym. Everyone has been very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the exercises I complete. I have my own individual programmes and have had regular reviews. I have also received lots of information from the diet group. So far I have lost 10 inches and 10 lbs. I have really enjoyed my time and I’m motivate to continue. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Been a member since October 2023 and I absolutely love it ! Everyone is so nice and friendly here so you never feel alone and ladies only which really helps . I’ve lost 5 and a half inches and I feel so much better in myself and a lot fitter. I go five days a week but you can choose and no pressure from anyone here ! Give it a go you won’t regret it !

Not having much confidence in being able to get back into shape I gave it a go and all I can say is how happy I am. Fantastic experience: Since joining I have been made very welcome by both staff & members. Staff are always on hand to support you with your programme, providing regular reviews. Always a fun atmosphere, I feel more motivated to keep fit since attending.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say this this is the best gym I have ever been to. The ladies are all lovely and welcoming. They will go through your programme and plan thoroughly to help achieve your fitness goals and you also have a regular review to discuss your progress. If you have any underlying heath issues they will adjust your programme to assist you in the easiet way possible if there's any exercises you struggle with or cannot do. They are very informative about the body, muscles, workouts etc. You truly are comfortable just being there, and it's not just about exercise. It's a wonderful social setting also with encouragement, laughs and chatter. Thankyou to all you lovely ladies, it's a pleasure being a member and you really do work so hard to make sure every member is happy and safe in the gym environment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been a gym person but having retired needed motivation to keep those muscles moving. I decided to join Rugeley Gymophobics and found a warm welcome and was given a personalised programme which I am working with and there are always helpful staff members if I struggle. I’m not always enthusiastic to go but once the circuit is done my mood and energy levels definitely improve so it’s all worth it.

Fantastic experience: Gymophobics rugeley is the best gym for any lady it's fantastic I'm so glad that I joined and I will never leave either it's the best thing I've ever did the staff work with you as well as the members all support each other it's a great atmosphere in fact once you're doing a circuit you don't want to leave been a member for over a year now and I'm there to stay and lost so far 3 stone 7lb and still moving forward

Fantastic experience: since joining the gym I have not only reach my target weight but also met lots of friendly people both staff and other members. I really enjoy going to the slimming classes too as it has been very informative but also everyone encourages you and we have a laugh too .

Fantastic experience: After over 2 years pretty much house-bound, living with physical & mental health issues, they are helping me to regain physical and mental capacity and strength, can't thank them enough Welcoming and great team who put me at my ease Lovely atmosphere Gentle and adaptable exercise machines/stations designed to get your muscle groups working and in shape Helping me to exercise all my joints, turning fat into muscle and losing weight in the process There is no pressure, preening or posing, only encouragement and example set They are a safe, non-judging encouraging team who meet you where you are at and support and encourage you to go for your dreams, helping you set mini goals to get there

Fantastic experience: Perfect solution for anybody wanting to join a gym! Great atmosphere from both staff and other members, soon as you step in you will feel it’s more friendly and familiar than previous gyms you may have experienced. The team support your personal goals and work with you on what you’d like to achieve and what works for you. There’s regular checks (if you want them) as part of your membership offering 1:1 advice and tips. The circuit is quick and you never leave feeling like you regret going! You feel more boosted and energetic due to the combination of the circuit and such a warm environment. I’ve been a member for many years and there’s a reason for that because of how great they are!

Fantastic experience: I’m approaching my first anniversary since joining Gymophobics and don’t regret a single second of the past year. The staff have helped me lose over two stone in weight and feel much better about myself. Great staff, great atmosphere and no one being too pushy . Everything done to feel comfortable and safe. Here’s to the next year, staying fit and who knows even more weight loss! I’d recommend anyone to give it a go!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Gymophobics in Rugeley since it opened in 2011, prior to that I was a member in Lichfield. I find all the instructors very friendly and always there to help if you have a problem. I have made some lovely friends and we enjoy our coffee after our workout. Being in my mid 70’s I find going to the gym helps keep me supple, and keeps me motivated with my diet regime. I would definitely recommend anyone who needs to keep their body moving or wants to get out and meet like minded people, Gymophobics is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: I joined gymophobics Rugeley in September 2019 and haven’t looked back since. I have never been to a gym before, but joining Rugeley is the best thing. I lost 1 stone in approx three months (amazing results) with endless support from the team. The team are extremely helpful, supportive, friendly...... and so on........and I can’t thank them enough. The atmosphere is also always friendly and happy and I look forward to going. I attend 3-4 times every week and thoroughly enjoy it. FANTASTIC TEAM AND FANTASTIC RESULTS !!!!!!!! Thank you ladies I would highly recommend it
