Fantastic experience: John and his team offer a great personal training service and classes. They tailor the training to your needs. I had a very bad back and through their exercise lessons I have turned that around. I can definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: In short a great gym that makes you feel welcome!! The knowledge that the PTs have is second to none and they really care about you as an individual I train with Kate and she really took the time to assess me and my goals and tailored all the work we do every week to the achievement of these goals and I'm pleased to say I have overachieved on all of them! Without this support, I wouldn't have done this and for that I'm thankful - highly recommend the gym to anyone who wants to just be a better version of themselves, they will help you achieve things you wouldn't have thought possible

Fantastic experience: Your search for your next gym is over…don’t bother looking at exercising anywhere else but here! John, Kathy and their team are absolutely incredible. From day one that I stepped foot into the gym I’ve learned so much and achieved so much more than I ever thought I could - I can now deadlift a car No matter what your goal MachinES will help you reach it, do one better and then go beyond it. Cannot recommend enough. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and it really is an amazing place to workout. Amazing for not only physical but mental health too, this is a team that really cares about you and wants to help to feel good.

Variations can be done for every single exercise, so no reason for you to not be able to take part. For someone that had no passion in exercising you have totally changed my mind set. Fantastic experience: Definitely the best place I've ever trained at. MachinES is more than a gym as it also has the climbing wall, Ninja Warrior and strongman(woman) facilities available along with the group PT classes and 1:1 PT sessions. John and all the coaches are extremely knowledgeable in fitness, nutrition and have experience of working with all ages and abilities - Pre-teen to the more Mature (that's me) I'm on my 8th year as a client and am still seeing progress and achieving goals that I never dreamed of.

Machines has had such a positive influence on my health and fitness journey and John, Kathy and the team have been an incredible support. They keep members focused, making the training fun but super progressive too. Their expertise and all round incredible niceness makes you feel so welcome and part of something really special. Fantastic experience: Machines changed my life, quite literally. Until I started training with the amazing PT’s at Machines, I had no idea how much fun working out could be. It’s way more than a gym, it’s a family of amazing people coming together to support each other achieve amazing results. The imagination of the PT’s is endless as week on week I see new ways to improve my fitness. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been with machin exercise studios for years. They are really focussed on you and your body. So the benefits you get in personal health and strength are huge. We have improved considerably. It is not like going to the gym and just doggedly going through a routine on a weight machine. They vary sessions to concentrate on and strengthen different parts of the body. Phenomenal. And a lot of laughs along the way. During the pandemic they have ensured that their members are engaged and have access to regular virtual classes, live and recorded. We have come out of lock down fitter than when we went in thanks to them.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love it here. They are friendly and professional at the same time. Amazing facilities and will go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Tailored PT sessions dedicated to getting the best out of you and at your own pace. I couldn't recommend them any higher.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym recently. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted apart from I knew I needed to loose weight. I met with John and had a chat about what I wanted from the gym and myself and decided on a personal trainer. I have not regretted joining and look forward to each session, the results have been amazing so far. Everyone in the classes have been so supportive and the knowledge and encouragement from the coaches is brilliant. I have learnt so much and can see my own health improving. This is certainly more than a gym! Cannot recommend Machin Exercise Studios enough!

Fantastic experience: This is THE best gym I have EVER been too. I have been a member for over four years now and I love it John and The Team are truly outstanding. I’m not young but I feel fitter and move better than I have for years. The approach is truly holistic. Yes, it’s about exercise, but the focus is on being the best you can be. On offer is dietary advice, corrective exercise classes and more. My confidence has improved so much I attempt things I would never have dared believe I could do. Even signed up for the Born Survivor at Capesthorn with Team Machin-Es but sadly this is on hold due to the pandemic. But we will be there just as soon as we can. Whilst it is up to each individual to be responsible for their own wellbeing, John and The Team have been encouraging us all to keep well by offering daily online classes and loaning gym equipment. How amazing is that! Do yourself a favour. Get off that sofa and join. You won’t regret it .

Fantastic experience: GREAT PLACE TO EXERCISE AND MAKE FRIENDS Warning: long review I have joined gyms before and tried to hard to keep motivated but to no avail. I have now been with Machin Exercise Studios for almost 5 YEARS! 1. My body has changed and I have found physical and mental strength that I never knew I had before. All this mainly, from going to group classes 2x a week. (I'm still a normal looking person - the body builder look is not for me ) 2. Their personal trainers are also available, if you wish to push for a better you or get you started and build your confidence in exercising. 3. I got to do all this with a new group of friends, which are an amazing team to work with. So if you want to have a go to exercise with results, try Machin Exercise Studios and maybe become a MachinES team member!

Fantastic experience: When I first started training with John in 2014 I had never set foot in a gym before. I knew I wanted to be fitter to keep up with growing family and to look after my health. Over 5 years later Machin Exercise Studios Congleton is part of my everyday life & I can't imagine life without my weekly visits or the friends that I have made along the way. A varied programme means I never get bored. A typical session can contain anything from climbing, strong (wo)man training to a high intensity metafit workout. I am very proud to have seen this local, independent business grow over the last few years and have huge admiration for John & his team for their dedication to their clients. I attend a parent & child class with my 2 boys aged 7 & 9, morning 1:1 PT sessions as well as group coaching on a Thursday evening. My parents train here too and I'm happy to say are in great shape because of it. Both of my children have had their birthday parties at the gym, making use of the ninja warrior and nerf gun facilities. Not only does this gym keeps me physically & mentally fit, John & his team care about me as a client and a friend, I am proud to be a MACHINE!

Fantastic experience: I went to my first introductory boot camp class yesterday. It was very good. We were told to work at our own rate but were encouraged to work harder when John thought that we could do more. He excels in his knowledge of exercise and encourages you when needed. Ninja warrior course next!!!

Fantastic experience: Wow, my daughter had her 8th birthday party her and had an absolutely amazing time. John and Ryan were great with the children and they changed the activities appropriately to each child's ability. Nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and will hopefully be returning in the near future.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic place. My 2 children first joined for ninja warrior classes and absolutely love it. I was so impressed with the place and what it has to offer that I have now also joined. John is an excellent coach and he certainly knows his stuff! Fantastic experience: Brilliant place! Highly trained personal trainers to coach you through classes or 1:1 training to achieve your goals. This exciting gym also has a Ninja Warrior obstacle course which both adults and children can try. The gym can also be hired out for private ninja warrior parties, fully hosted by the coaches! We had a party there last year, which was fantastic. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, the kids or the adults!

Fantastic experience: First timers as a group of 4 and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Saturdays are for walk-ins or booked, one hour slots with help from John who runs the show. He is very informative, friendly and helpful. There is lots to do for all abilities and opportunity to progress each time you go. We have already booked for next month knowing full well this place will book up fast! Something Congleton should be very proud of and has needed for a long time!
