Saltdean Tennis Club

Saltdean Tennis Club is a fun and friendly club based in Saltdean Oval Park behind Saltdean Lido.

We are a local community Parks club, LTA accredited providing social and competitive tennis to players of all ages and abilities, with reasonable membership rates.

We have 4 recently resurfaced and painted hard tennis courts and a shared clubhouse (with the Bowls club) that includes a kitchen, changing room and toilet facilities.

Above all, our aim is to provide affordable tennis for all.  Whether you are new to the game, looking to improve your tennis or just want to have some great games with a friendly local bunch, we welcome everyone.

As a community parks club, the courts are available to hire for pay and play by the public and non-members who wish to book a court and have fun playing tennis with friends and family.

In 2023 the club took on the responsibility of the tennis courts from Brighton & Hove council. To do this we set up a Community Amateur Sport Company, which is a not-for-profit model set up for community sports clubs. . Membership fees and court fees paid by the public  are used for the ongoing maintenance and longterm costs of funning the courts.  The Club is run by a friendly set of volunteers to ensure the courts remain available for use by everyone.
